Desventajas: Only one small gripe - if you could you fit a wider shower screen over the bath (in room 100) it would be perfect! The water pressure is great, but it splashes all over the floor!

Ventajas: Todo el personal ha sido muy amable, desde la recepcionista, que nos hizo el check-in aunque llegamos antes de la hora, hasta el personal de limpieza y del restaurante. El desayuno estaba bien. Un poco escasa la opción de fruta pero por lo demás muy completo. La ubicación no es mala, ya que está a 5-10 minutos del centro y de la estación de tren. El wifi también funciona muy bien. Por último, la relación calidad / precio es muy buena.

Desventajas: Lo único que mejoraría de la estancia es que el primer día no nos hicieron la habitación.

Ventajas: The bed was very comfortable and room size was generous. We felt like there was sufficient space for two adults and one toddler, even when he slept in bed with us. The indoor pool was great for kids.

Desventajas: Although they are considered kid friendly, the kids meals were never prioritised! Some of us were waiting over 45 minutes for kids meals to arrive, only to find that it was the wrong item ordered. Breakfast was okay, but pastries weren’t great.

Ventajas: Breakfast in the Wernher Restaurant was very nice - the room is spectacular, as is the view if you don't get seated next to the para vent that hides the kitchen entrance or by far worse get sent to the Adam`s Brasserie. The whole estate is wonderful with lovely paths twining through the estate which also has a well visited golf course. Lovely spa and swimming pool area. It is very quiet in the evenings and during the night. Room was very clean, typical old English furniture. There were two gentlemen attending to guests at the entrance to the Wernher restaurant - these two met up with 5* expectations, as did the men at the door and the "Mansion" itself.

Desventajas: The reception desk was not very helpful with information about places to visit, we asked for some information we were told to look on internet - a few days later we found a small area, adjacent to the lobby, with loads of pamphlets and leaflets about places to visit. We booked on two evenings the Wernher restaurant and Adam`s Brasserie - both were a disappointment. Although the Wernher restaurant has a wonderful setting, well worth the 5* with beautiful wall tapestries and fine table setting - the food was unfortunately not of a high standard. Wine was served from two different corked bottles in the same glass. The Adam`s Brasserie was far worse - the food was absolutely terrible. The Breakfast in this area is totally not 5* and very poor. Table decoration as in a roadside cafe, cobwebs on the lighting free of charge. Definitely not up to standard. Staff trying to solve problems with breakfast seating were discussing things in front of us - also something you do not wish to hear as a guest. The water in the bathroom smelt of chlorine, a lamp was out of order. We didn't visit the sauna as swimsuits are to be worn at all times - something Europeans don't understand but respect. I would suggest avoiding the Brasserie if you have taste buds and only dining in the Wernher Restaurant for the overall experience. There are far better restaurants in Harpenden or Saint Albans.

Ventajas: Was upgraded free of charge to junior suite! The staff exceptional. The grounds beautiful. Pure class.

Ventajas: Amazing room! Parkland Suite - beautiful. Dressing gowns, slippers, four poster bed, quiet and everything you could possible wish for.

Ventajas: It was very pleasant stay! Everything you needed was there: very good breakfast, spacious room, pub, sunny patio. The building is unique and very special. Easy access to other areas incl London via train. The owner did even more than we could have expected and gave us very valuable tips for visiting London and nearby. Thank you Leaside Hotel and we defenetely recommend this hotel to others.

Ventajas: The staff were exceptionally friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them, especially Sinead. We ate in the restaurant in the evening, the food was superb and the menu range was excellent, suitable for the full range of ages in our party. The breakfast was also excellent with fresh coffee and cafetieres. Garden area was beautiful and very well kept in line with the whole hotel, and we were very happy with all four rooms we had. Ventajas: Room was well set up, bed was super comfy and everything clean and fresh. Breakfast was included in price and a lovely choice ...lovely berry compote and option to bag rolls etc and take with you...great for early flights. Walking distance to airport.

Desventajas: Reception was efficient when they arrived...had to wait a few minutes

Ventajas: The room was larger than average, the bed was very comfortable with good quality pillows and bedding. Bathroom was good. Had everything I needed. Breakfast was included and a cold buffet is available from 4am, hot (ie bacon, sausages, eggs) from I think 6am. There were to go cups for tea/coffee and paper bags for croissants which was very handy for an early morning flight.

Desventajas: Wasn’t sure where the entrance was - it is actually in the car park at the rear of the building. You get 10mins free in their car park which we weren’t aware of so drop off was a little stressful as we stopped elsewhere.

Ventajas: Just few minutes away on foot from the airport. Quite spacious rooms.

Desventajas: The continental breakfast (served from 4 am) is too basic. If you have an early plane to catch, be prepared to just have a muffin or cereal.

Desventajas: el personal nocturno de recepción nos dejó esperando para entrar al hotel, hasta que terminó una llamada telefónica. ¡el barman nos ignoró cuando intentamos pedir comida y bebidas y sirvió a un cliente que obviamente había estado en el bar toda la noche dando consejos al personal! ¡el personal nocturno era muy pobre, por decir lo menos!

Ventajas: It's a perfect location for arriving by train and flying off next day, and hardly anything else. Comfortable and quality option as expected.

Desventajas: Smaller breakfast choice than same brand hotels elsewhere in uk. Current building works next to it are quite audible.

Desventajas: Car park is £8 per day which I wasn't aware of. Gym isn't great - very basic. Reception refused to give me an invoice for my stay as I has prepaid through booking.com, so needed to call site for a resolution.

Ventajas: The room was big and lighting was fine. Bathroom was welll appointed but to have Hilton in the name is a poor reflection of a good hotel chain

Desventajas: It was a cold day and the heater was terrible. The staff did their best by trying to make the wall heater work and even brought up a portable radiator. No matter how nice the room, being cold colours ones perceptions. Having to sit in the room with 4 layers of clothes was horrible. I stayed in motorway services and B&Bs with warmer rooms. Not what I expect from a Hilton. The staff were wonderful though

Ventajas: Hotel is located in a quiet area of Luton. Well maintained hotel with great facilities. Gym was modern and well kept. The availability of an ice machine in the corridor was a nice touch as well.

Desventajas: The mattresses on the bed the moment you turn you can hear the springs in it. So it was a bit uncomfortable to sleep on. Secondly, the pub closes at 01.00am and I understand about the noise and people about to leave. Some people stayed outside the pub on the benches and kept on with their conversations till 02.30am and that completely ruined mine and my wife's sleep.

Ventajas: Good location for Luton Airport, even if tucked away down narrow lanes. Nicely presented room. Quiet !

Desventajas: Inaccurate times given at check-in about kitchen times so had to go back into town as missed chef. Bathroom was ok, just VERY small.... Had to ask for continental style breakfast, Full English presented as default.

Desventajas: Only one item. No chair in our room. As my wife suffers from back problems a chair as standard equipment would have been more practical than sitting on a bed. The hotel, while charming and excellent value for money is extremely hard to find if you don't know the area. My satnav did not recognise the post code, and we drove around the area for about an hour looking for it. We found it eventually, but the access is quite well hidden, with only one half concealed sign to the location of the "village". Leaving was easier as it was daytime, but access in the dark is very difficult.

Ventajas: This place is SO lovely, charming, and sweet, and all of the staff so caring and very, very friendly! Loved staying here - was only for one night and wished I could have stayed longer!! Also, wonderful full English warm breakfast!

Ventajas: Parking (it was free). The rooms were well kept. Very clean rooms and bath linen were lovely. Air conditioning worked. Lovely Bathroom very modern.

Desventajas: The heating did not work when I wanted it. The walls in the room could do with a fresh lick of paint. They could have warned me to expect some upheaval in the reception area due to refurbishment work but not a great issue.

Ventajas: El hotel es modesto y no es para alojarse durante una visita a Londres, excepto si uno tiene ganas de dormir cerca del aeropuerto de Luton (por ejemplo la primera o la última noche). Para eso es perfecto. Cercano al aeropuerto (5 min caminando) y barato.

Desventajas: Muy pocos complementos en la habitación. El baño es chico (pequeño) y sin accesorios de aseo más allá del jabón. El desayuno no está incluido en el precio básico. El bar del lobby está bien, pero es caro.

Ventajas: as for the hotel itself, the staff at the hotel are very kind and attentive and friendly and are always ready to help. Your requests are answered quickly and does everything possible to make you feel comfortable and safe from the free parking if you arrive and you must warn about this in advance. Desventajas: Waiting for breakfast every day 30 min!! Tragedy!!

Ventajas: Price is excellent considering I booked on the day I wanted to stay as the wheelwrights cancelled my booking at 5pm! Very accommodating, food is really good and being above a pub certainly has its advantages ;) Breakfast in the morning was lovely and is included in the price! Room was spot on, bed was comfy and bathroom had everything you needed!

Ventajas: Accessible to everything

Desventajas: The room was cold and the heater/radiator wasn’t working. Slept feeling cold the whole night. Fire/alarm goes off unexpectedly and can wake you up in the middle of the night.

Ventajas: Room was clean and comfortable. The landlord was very helpful and carried my bag to the room. The cask ales on the bar. Central location in Luton.

Desventajas: The waitress at breakfast did not ask me for my order when she brought my colleague's breakfast. I had to go and chase her to place my order.

Desventajas: A strange smell in the room. Moldy bathroom and extractor fans didn't work.

Ventajas: The guy in reception names Lorell was most pleasant , polite and helpful. Room answered all my needs.

Desventajas: The street was a bit scary at night

Ventajas: Everything & it has a 24 hour shop which is open 365 days per year & next door literally attached to the hotel which sells absolutely everything food wise.

Desventajas: my shower door needs an upgrade.

Ventajas: En si toda la habitación bien arreglado, buena limpieza, la pequeña cocina fenomenal, el baño buen tamaño y cómodo, y los recepcionistas muy amables y agradables.

Desventajas: Que no le subáis más el precio si tiene buena puntuación mantener las condiciones.

Ventajas: La amabilidad en recepción, al llegar. La habitación, aunque mini, unos 8- 10 metros, tiene cocina con micro y frigo.

Desventajas: Camas de 70_80 CMS, colchones viejos. Habitación en 2 planta sin ascensor y escaleras estrechas.

Ventajas: I have stayed her before and all was ok. Unfortunately this time my room had not been cleaned properly and I had the horrible experience of finding a used sanitary towel in the bathroom!! Very unpleasant! If that had not been cleaned what else had not been cleaned? Bad housekeeping! Reception staff were friendly but I will not recommend or ever stay here again!!!

Desventajas: The used sanitary towel left in the bathroom!

Ventajas: The staff were lovely, very helpful and the bed was very comfortable

Desventajas: I couldn't sleep despite the bed being very comfortable as unfortunately there were a few people outside of the building who were talking loudly at 3.00am as if it was the middle of the day!! I discovered that there is an off license right next door that must be open practically all night, attracting very noisy people right outside my window in the middle of the night and making it impossible to sleep. My room was No.11 upstairs. The street outside of the hotel is also dirty with rubbish in the street and doesn't feel very safe at night.

Ventajas: The young man on reception was great, very helpful

Desventajas: The room was very tiny with beds for 3 people but very little space for suitcases. Area is a bit rough.

Ventajas: Handy with 24 hour reception, and easy connection to airport and railway. 11am checkout is better than the norm - 10am - and allows me to get some work done, if need be.

Desventajas: Location is a boisterous, so not ideal to be overlooking the road.

Ventajas: The staff was fabulous! Very profesional and helpful - thank you so much! Great location, does the job for someone travelling in and out of Luton (10-15 mins away in taxi).

Desventajas: Loud room, very acoustic, people in rooms next door woke me up several times during the night.

Ventajas: Convenient location on main road, easy to find. Good parking facilities. Proximity to airport. Petrol station opposite. Generally very clean. Comfortable beds. Staff polite and helpful.

Desventajas: Dry bread at breakfast table. An extra electrical application in the room would have been welcome, shaving charging phone etc. Although room clean, objects found under bed from previous guests stay !

Ventajas: El personal del hotel es muy agradable, y nos ayudaron en todo. Hotel cómodo, relación calidad-precio, perfecto!

Desventajas: Room was in basement which is maybe not important as we stayed after long flight and wanted to catch up with sleep. Toilet was making massive noise , towels were smelly chemically ..and my partner car was robbed outside the hotel along with other few cars. Definitely Luton it’s not the place to stay seems very rough
