Ventajas: Pasamos 6 noches en el Mondrian con nuestros hijos mayores. El hotel tiene una estupenda ubicación, cerca de las mejores atracciones. Gran vista al mar. Nos tomamos unas copas en los bares que tienen buenos cócteles y vistas. Las habitaciones muy modernas con buena ropa de cama de calidad. A mis hijos le encantó que había un cine en el hotel. Altamente recomendado!!

Ventajas: Un hotel excepcional en Londres. El servicio, la habitación, las comodidades, los restaurantes y los bares eran excelentes. Hermosa vista del Támesis. Sin duda me volveré a alojar aquí en mi próximo viaje a Londres. No puedo decir lo suficiente sobre nuestra experiencia en el Mondrian.

And there wasn't extras like pastries because it was my daughter's bday it was a special time .I would stay here again but I wont have breakfast

Ventajas: We were surprised by the quality of breakfast especially as the breakfast area was quite small but everything was so fresh and flavourful and of a really high standard. They kept replenishing the breakfast area as well. We really enjoyed our stay and ended up staying in our room longer than we thought as we had a terrace and everything was so nice and comfortable. Really liked the bar area too.

Desventajas: I didn't like the perfume pumped through the air-con in the corridors and bedrooms. Infact we had to be moved as I suffer from asthma and it was effecting my breathing to a none perfumed floor (5) and room. The corridors are too dark, felt like a ship..

Desventajas: Staff especially in the afternoon in the bar were at best appalling as waited 15 minutes to get served when not busy. When they got round to it thre mistakes were made and they came across as not interested . In fact my partner when informing the waiter of staying in the hotel stated he was not at all interested. Appalling customer service sums up this hotel. Good hotel ruin by untrained staff. Went for dinner at the St. Pancras Hotel which was superb with customer service to match. Shame with good staff a fully decent hotel which it should be at prices like this. I will never venture here again as I can be insulted far cheaper than here!

When we checked on booking.com there were rooms available. When we informed them of this, the suites suddenly became available. They’re just after your money all of the time. Desventajas: Staff was so rude. The first person that checked us in around 11 said to come back 2/2:30 and our room should be ready. We came back at 2:53 and the lady at the front desk said “check in is at 3. You can wait in the lobby until 3” without event checking if our room was available. In addition, we had indicated in our reservation that our flight got in early and the hotel responded that they would try to accommodate us. So much for trying.

Desventajas: Staff in general needs more hospitality training, especially front-desk (too many juniors). No pro-active / smiling attitude in general, no friendly chats. Bar / bar area is heavily under utilised and could be made into a nice area to hang out. I always like cozy bar areas in hotels, with good atmosphere, friendly lighting and some background music (good for booze sales as well!) - but this was missing unfortunately. 2 exceptions, bar staff Jezus and Simina were wonderful and do understand the importance of making your guests feel welcome. Breakfast - food selection is fine (full english always nice) - but personally I find a good coffee (cappuccino / espresso) very important and this is sorely missed. Simply invest in a good, self-service coffee machine and I'm sure the guests will give top marks for breakfast. Beds slightly too firm for my liking - but this is personal preference.

Had a very memorable trip here , the location couldn't be better with Big Ben on your doorstep. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and bigger than expected. Bed very comfortable and shower/bath facilities excellent for families. Any problems were sorted extremely quickly each time and staff very apologetic.

Ventajas: Reservamos para pasar la noche como nuestros amigos tenían su boda en el salón de baile en el Park Plaza. Gracias a Dios la boda fue buena, porque eso era lo único bueno de este hotel!
Desventajas: Como parte del grupo nupcial nos pusimos en contacto con meses, semanas de anticipación y hasta el día del hotel antes de la fecha de llegada para solicitar un early check in, que nunca ocurrió. Como disculpa porque nuestro cabello y maquillaje artista estaba parado en la recepción, sólo pasaron por 2 de las 4 habitaciones. Durante y después de la boda, nos quedamos atrapados en el ascensor (que estaba roto, pero no clausurado) no hubo disculpa por parte del personal no acusaron de sus errores, más bien me dicen "ya no quiero hablar contigo". Después de haber pasado miles y miles de libras, este es el trato que recibimos. Ninguna compensación fue ofrecida a ninguno de nosotros.

Desventajas: Key card to room was an ongoing issue unfortunately. Needed to be changed each time we come back to the hotel which was very annoying, especially when on way back from the spa in a bath robe. Kept away from mobile phones/ electronics etc. and room door was checked however still it wasn't working each time we came back. I had the same problem at a sister hotel I stayed in last year. I really hope the issue can be sorted!

Desventajas: Me alojé en este hotel con mi madre por 5 días mientras estaba de vacaciones. No lo recomiendo. Es caro para las comodidades que se ofrecen. La piscina es mediocre: Es muy pequeña y sólo está bien si tienes niños inquietos (sólo hay 5 tumbonas). El gimnasio estaba bien. El doble de las limpiadoras no llegaron a nuestra habitación según lo requerido, e incluso nos quedamos sin papel higiénico porque, cuando vino la limpiadora, ¡no dejó papel higiénico! hay conexión wi-fi gratuita, que era buena y muchos canales de televisión. La ubicación es básicamente la atracción principal. Mis dos céntimos son que encontramos un hotel sin gimnasio y piscina, e ir por la ubicación para ahorrar dinero. Y encontrar un hotel con limpiadores confiables que hablen por lo menos inglés básico. Ninguno de mis limpiadores hablaba inglés y no entendía palabras como papel higiénico...

Desventajas: The housekeepers is not that good , one day they didn't clean my room . Also , i have to ask every day for bathrobes and slippers . They is no water in the room.

Desventajas: - No es culpa del hotel, pero mientras el Big Ben siga tapado por andamios, este hotel pierde algo de su valor para los turistas. Por su ubicación, cuando sales del hotel y te diriges paseando hacia el centro vas contemplando el parlamento y el Big Ben desde la otra orilla del rio. En general la experiencia ha sido muy buena, pero siempre hay algo que mejorar: -La zona del desayuno está poco estudiada y mal distribuida, haciéndote dar mil vueltas por todo el salón y generando mucho tráfico, asi que cuando consigues las tostadas ya se te ha enfriado el café. La fruta está asquerosa, incomible! ¿de donde sacan eso? -Entra algo de luz por las mañanas alrededor de las cortinas.

Desventajas: Okay, the hotel has no concierge service! Then the rooms are a good size, but lack natural light and even the 2 tiny bulbs aren’t enough if you are trying to work in the room. The room I stayed in superior.. second floor had water clogging both in the sink and the shower!! Didn’t expect this at all from a chain. Also, the staff I called to book my room was sweet and pleasant but the staff checking me in had a condescending tone. But hey, again the staff that checked me out later was very sweet. So probably just my bad luck. Anyways, for the price much better rooms available, also cheaper hotels in lambeth would be better than this! I chose this over the near by hotels thinking it would be better as a chain etc. but no.

THEY ASSISTED WITH FRONT STAIRS WHEN WE CHOSE TO EXIT FOR A TAXI TO TAKE US WHEREVER. BUT THEY ALWAYS ALLOWED FOR HIS DIGNITY. THIS TOUCHED MY HEART. HIS TOO. Desventajas: No electric jug or milk to make a cup of tea in your room. Having flown 36 hours I was very frustrated to be denied a jug of hot water by reception and told to use the coffee machine which proved to be faulty. Upon my return to reception I was finally given a jug of hot water to take back to my room. Several of the lights were not working in the room. The hotel is tucked away from the main traffic noise but the floor boards are extremely squeaky so if your neighbours are up and about you will know about it. The shower leaked all over the bathroom floor, very poorly designed and as you are stepping out of a bath it can be very slippery, would not be suitable for less agile guests.

Desventajas: On the moment we checked in, I raised the ac is quite warm and the staff said the ac works just be patient. So I went out for and got back to the room at late night, AC didn't work. It was even worse. We cant breath in the hotel room. Hence, we asked the staff to change the room and the staff at reception said every rooms in this hotel was fully booked. I should have raise this up since the beginning (which I did). The staff said the AC doesn't work the whole floor. They've been trying to fix it but since it's late at that moment so they will fix it on the next day. However, for some reason they managed to get us moved to the new room. But they actually downgraded our room, the room is smaller, Restroom is half size when compared to the room we got at the beginning. They insisted it's not downgrade and they charged us the same amount of money.

Desventajas: It was an anniversary for my partner and myself and I mentioned this to the hotel when booking and asked if they could make our stay special but nothing was done. There was no coffee or tea in the room. No robes towels or slippers. Stickers on the floor of the bathroom?? Looked like they had been there some time?? Dirty bed linen. The TV didn’t work either?? For £290 p/n I expected more and we left feeling very deflated and I wouldn’t have thought we’d stay there again!! This was our 3rd visit this year as well.

Also a big thank you to Petra on reception for being so kind giving my mum a complimentary cake for her birthday. We would not stay anywhere else when we visit London. Ventajas: Supongamos que el hotel hubiera sido excelente.
Desventajas: ¡Cuidado! El agente de reservas Cancelon tiene un disparador de fecha temprana que se convierte en una reserva no reembolsable después de promover "cancelación gratuita". Está orientado a empujar la reserva no reembolsable a su sitio para vender. El proceso de listado fue increíblemente difícil de volver a introducir todos los datos en línea, lo que resultó en ninguna venta o compensación. Evitaría reservar a través de Cancelon en el futuro.

Desventajas: Breakfast is very chaotic no tables available even though we were down at 8am had to wait until a table became available as there was 4 of us we had to wait over 15mins.

Ventajas: Location and the view
Desventajas: Room wasn't ready for 2 o'clock, it was past 3 o'clock before it was ready, bit frustrating as we had checked in at 12.30 and was told the room would be ready at 2pm, we were given a complimentary drink in the bar while we waited. Also was asked if we wanted the patio doors unlocked which we did, and had to sign a Health & Safety disclaimer but when we got into the room, the patio doors were looked, so had to phone down to ask them to come up and unlock them.

Desventajas: Standart rooms below higher floors are like cabins, with windows looking inside the hotel itself, not to mention shabby. Average 250 Euro for night for this kind of room is just ridiculous.

Desventajas: The hotel is tidy but not clean. The staff are friendly but over worked and seem harried and ill trained. Our room was dingy and could use updating and a scrub, and a new mattress. Definitely NOT a 4 star hotel. Kind of the weak sister of the Park Plaza Westminister next door and poorly managed it seems.

Desventajas: We had a problem one day when we returned to the room at 5pm to discover it had not been serviced. It took two phone calls and one visit to the front desk over one hour before anyone came to clean the room. This prevented us relaxing and enjoying the room after returning from a busy day in the city.

Desventajas: El desayuno era un poco aburrido. Faltava variedad y había mala organización porque algunos dias habiamos de pedir que faltava pan, o queso o platos.... también es cierto que coincidimos unos dias en que reformavan el comedor y hubieron de improvisar espacios para el desayuno. El baño de la habitación muy pequeño. Imposible 2 personas a la vez.

Beautiful area as right next to St. Paul’s cathedral and madison rooftop bar. Would highly recommend and come again. The staff even gave my boyfriend cupcakes as it was his birthday.

The breakfast is very nice and until a decent hour in the morning. All personnel did their best for make our stay better with a special thank you for the concierge team.

Desventajas: Though, I don’t like to rate any property negatively, but this property is not the best place to stay. Reasons - 1. It is extremely expensive for a small room. No value for money. If I got the services, still it was understandable. 2. The reception didn’t get back on questions all the time. They are not very welcoming except one person Mr. Lalin who was an exception 3. The concierge was decent. 4. The room was not cleaned properly, Mary time I felt not at all. For two days, there were no big towels 5. They took away the glass water bottle they had provided with no proper answer. 6. The hotel was surrounded by office buildings , zero view of even a street. 7. The bar downstairs was the worst. They were non responsive, would ignore you even after looking at you for more than 20 minutes. You had to call them time again to grab their attention. Once I saw a person making a drink and tasting it And then Giving to the customer. We never went again

Desventajas: Our bathroom needed a deep clean. The tiles the taps the shower screen needed limescale remover and the toilet needed some bleach. Very disappointed with this in such a lovely bathroom and lovely hotel. This let them down massively.

Solo estuve en Londres por 2 días, y queríamos un hotel en el que me gustaría pasar un mínimo tiempo de viaje para llegar a las principales atracciones de Londres. Si tienes un presupuesto ajustado, este hotel es uno de los mejores disponibles. Si es un poco anticuado, pero yo estaba en Londres para ver los lugares de interés, así que no necesitas mi hotel para ser estado del arte.

Ventajas: The Strand Palace is conveniently located within walking distance of many of the sights that we were interested in visiting. In addition the staff was wonderful, friendly and always available. Our room was very comfortable and the restaurant was delicious. They couldn’t do enough for you. On our day of departure they even packed us a breakfast to take with us to the airport for an early flight.

Ventajas: Este hotel está en el corazón de Londres. Si te alojas aquí estás cerca de todo. Solo estuve en Londres por 2 días, y queríamos un hotel en el que me gustaría pasar un mínimo tiempo de viaje para llegar a las principales atracciones de Londres. Si tienes un presupuesto ajustado, este hotel es uno de los mejores disponibles. Si es un poco anticuado, pero yo estaba en Londres para ver los lugares de interés, así que no necesitas mi hotel para ser estado del arte.
Desventajas: Si viajas en verano, tened en cuenta que este hotel no tiene aire acondicionado. Por lo menos la habitación en la que me alojé no tenía ninguno.

Desventajas: • The bed was incredibly hard. It was like sleeping on the floor. My back hurt all the time. • The bathroom has no door which means that if you have air conditioning on in your room, and you take a shower you will be very cold when you get out of the shower. It also means that if you pee the whole room smells like pee. • The shower is built in such a way that if you move around too much, water starts getting out of the shower and into your floor. It is very modern and pleasing to the eye, but not very practical. • The hotel must be under construction, because every morning starting from 6am I heard sounds of people building and hammering. • While I was in the shower the last day of my stay the cleaning staff tried to enter my room at 8:30am which isn't that late. Thank god I had let the emergency lock on the door. Otherwise the cleaning staff would have seen me naked in the shower. • The Wi-fi is pretty bad.

Desventajas: Las habitaciones son reminiscentes de los pequeños dormitorios completos con un MAC como el sistema de TV/entretenimiento. Los baños son extremadamente pequeños y tienes un lavabo donde casi te encuentras en la ducha para lavarse los dientes. La comida del servicio de habitaciones es de calidad muy promedio, como en la universidad. Me sentí como si estuviera de vuelta en una extraña estadía universitaria en este hotel.

Desventajas: We have just recently traveled through France and Switzerland and stayed in many hotels, every one had coffee on tap in the lobby (free) and two bottles of water in the room, not this hotel in the UK capital. When we arrived back at the hotel for a night cap at the bar around 10pm the coffee machine had been cleaned and no longer available for a expresso martini , come on Hilton this is the capital of the uk and it’s closed at 10pm , bar is still open but limited to a reduced cocktail menu and no food, and in Europe you get nibbles with your drink whether you want them or not, not in a Hilton.

Desventajas: Room a bit small but very comfortable bed, very clean , wonderful big window, excellent blackout blinds, small fridge , great daily complementary coffee , milk, tea and bottled water in our room. Wonderful warm shower. Daughter and I really enjoyed our 3 day visit 10 out of 10 . So glad I choose this hotel to visit London. P.S thought the chocolate cookies that was handed to us on arrival ( meet and greet ) and departure was wonderful and they were delicious.

La habitación estaba bien aunque pequeña (habitación casi de hotel japonés pequeño). No usamos sus restaurantes y fuimos a mucho, mucho mejor buffet en la calle para el desayuno.
El personal de recepción era muy servicial.

Desventajas: A terrible experience! The room is so small that there is no air. no air conditioner, no heating, TV not working. At this hour we had to settle for what was. When we asked if the order could be canceled, they said we would be charged the full price. The staff, especially the receptionist girl who treated us were not at all welcoming. We felt they were doing a favor that they even unser to me . The room was filthy, no linen was changed from the day we arrived. The room is so crowded that two suitcases cannot fit together, but can only be on each other. Reasonable breakfast .Except for the location, i really do not recommend getting close. Not worth the grief. If you are average weight people and above, you can't even breathe in the shower. There is no room for two people with suitcases. Just don't! We skipped from one side of the room to the other by walking on the bed. If you need air, don't come to this hotel.
