Ventajas: Everything I was extremely impressed with thier service and how they took care of you They always made you feel special from The moment you stepped in One will always go to a Hotel that will wellcome you back .. remember you , appreciate your stay and give you a better deal everytime you come back .. that is in essence what makes a Great Hotel from a good hotel I have stayed at many hotels in London ..some of the main ones ie landmark etc But I have never been treated to such a high level of service than at Langham Every call was answered with my name and that was there everywhere you went it was very personalized And the most important thing was that you were remembered , appreciated for coming back and given a better deal and Servive for your continued patronage It was an amazing expirience and Langham is the Hotel for us Every depts service was exceptional

Ventajas: Great staff, great location
Desventajas: Rooms had issues. Although well furnished & comfortable, the first room was above the subway so really disruptive until after midnight, with trains every few minutes, making sleep almost impossible. We asked to be moved & the second room was somewhat below ground level. The windows were set very high, they overlooked the air conditioning unit for the kitchen & therefore lacked any view, let alone natural light. I might stay at the hotel again but only if I could speak to reservations regarding the room.

Ventajas: A mi hija y a mí nos saludaron como si fuéramos realeza. Todo el mundo es amable, eficiente y profesional. El Ritz es precioso y siempre está limpio.
Los camareros son muy adecuados y la comida era fabulosa.
Recomendaría encarecidamente el Ritz, porque sin duda no te defraudará.

It was a fantastic experience and I considered it value for money despite some eye watering prices , the staff are very friendly and great fun . Desventajas: Todo lo demás - personal cortés, pero muy poco servicial a la hora de resolver problemas y hacer que los huéspedes se sientan cómodos. Servicio lento - la habitación no estaba disponible a tiempo - las vistas desde la habitación eran a las tuberías de vapor. Una de mis estancias más decepcionantes en comparación con las expectativas (y visito Londres 6-10 veces anualmente).
La habitación era vieja (estaba limpia) y no estaba actualizada para ser un hotel de lujo.

Desventajas: Este es mi hotel favorito en las muchas ciudades que he visitado. Es encantador y elegante, con habitaciones grandes y cómodas por cualquier nivel y el personal es extraordinario, no hay apenas una época en los últimos 20 años, que el Landmark no ha sido mi "ir a" la ubicación durante los viajes anuales que intento hacer a Londres.

The spa had run out of Robes & I would suggest a few more than 4 beds around the pool I don’t wish to sound so negative , our first trip to this hotel few years ago was fabulous , hence our return. Most of these problems I am sure wouldn’t occur on future visit

Was greeted by a very friendly lady called Anastasia at the front desk who upgraded our room which was amazing ! The hotel left a lovely birthday message and cake in the room for us aswell. My favourite thing about the hotel is the decor and the lovely staff . Will definitely be coming again !

Desventajas: NO PUDE DORMIR NADA porque por debajo del hotel pasa el metro cada y 15 minutos hay una vibración y un sonido horrible!!! Además, el lunes por la mañana a las 8.30am me desperté con un ruido terrible ya que en la calle hacia donde daba mi habitación estaban haciendo obras y comenzaron a taladrar durante toda la mañana. Tuve que recoger e irme de la habitación. Pienso que tenían que habérmelo comentado cuando hice el check in ya que habría escogido otra habitación más silenciosa, la verdad que todo lo positivo que tenía el hotel desapareció con esta pésima experiencia. Cuando me quejé en el check out lo único que me dijeron fue que la próxima vez me asegure de pedir una habitación en otro piso!!! Y no me hicieron pagar un chocolate que había cogido mi hermana del minibar... sinceramente me esperaba mucho más por parte del hotel.

My room was basic, but clean and had everything I needed including water, tea and coffee. Really pleased and will recommend. Ventajas: Extremadamente ordenado, práctico y funcional. El personal hizo todo lo posible para ayudar con cualquier cosa pequeña. La ubicación no puede ser mejor: Caminé hasta el Museo Británico en menos de media hora, y justo a la vuelta de la esquina del Teatro para fantasmas De Su Majest. Mi habitación era tranquila y sin ventanas, pero estoy bien con espacios pequeños; si no viaja solo, puede que se sienta agobiado.
Desventajas: No había nada que no me gustara de este hotel. Cuando vuelva a Londres lo reservaré de nuevo.

Desventajas: La razón que las habitaciones son asequibles es porque las habitaciones son pequeñas. En verdad pequeñas ... como en su cama abarca toda la distancia de una pared. No hay armario, y a menos que tengas una de las habitaciones más grandes tendrás que poner tu equipaje en el suelo ya que no hay para dejar el equipaje. Eso es un reto porque la planta es realmente el camino desde la zona de la cama para el baño, así que tendrás que caminar por tu propio equipaje.
Si eres un viajero de negocios y necesita espacio de recepción es muy limitado o ausente. Tuve una habitación con un pequeño escritorio y otro donde tuve que usar la mesilla y un escritorio.
Las habitaciones son relativamente oscuras, incluso si las ventanas están abiertas porque se abren a una estrecha luz/patio. Tal vez hay más luz en los niveles más altos.

Desventajas: No me gusto la atencion del personal, muy poca predisposicion para atender a los huespedes. No hay internet libre y el sistema pago es malo y caro. Uno paga por 8 horas, usa 1 hace un log out y el tiempo sigue corriendo. Nadie se hace cargo, dicen que ellos no brindan el servicio. El personal nocturno no brinda informacion sobre ningun lugar ya que dice que de noche trabaja y no tiene tiempo de salir a ningun lado. Esto es un hotel 4 estrellas?

Desventajas: The delay response on our orders, they take more than 30 min. to do what we ask for. Also, we have booked a room with a garden view (which cost a way more than a city view). HOWEVER when we came over to the hotel, the receptionist informed us that all rooms with garden view is occupied. This is a lack of credibility!

Desventajas: I didn't expect a shared room to feel that uncomfortable. It smelt really bad and a couple of guys were snoring all night long. Having a shared bathroom for multiple rooms was a bit tricky cause then you have to wait in queue for your turn. I left the property more exhausted than I entered it.

Bathrooms and showers were cleaned throughout the day and spotless. Staff were very helpful especially with luggage when the lift was out of order. Common area/ pub was cheery and the breakfast included was really good value. Dinner menu was wholesome, good size portions and also good value. I also liked the fact that there were a decent number of vegetarian options - and that there is a Tesco and a Boots really nearby for any other needs.

Desventajas: All doors were closing very noisy. They should be repaired. For this reason, we cant sleep first night of our stay and we bought earplug. We booked double room but not feel comfortable only for this reason. Also, I think, double rooms should be located further away from crowded dormitories.

Desventajas: Valor muy pobre por el dinero. La habitación estaba bastante abarrotado, con un diseño incómodo y ruidoso (aunque la recepción decía que era el lado tranquilo del hotel). Sentarse en la habitación y en toda la zona común del hotel es viejo e incómodo. No volveré.

I also didn’t like the wooden steps down to the bed area. It’s a hazard even with the sensor lights and not comfortable to step on barefoot when I need the bathroom in the middle of the night.

Ninguna construcción en los fines de semana, y empezó a una hora razonable en días laborables. Pocas comodidades en el hotel, pero no estábamos buscando hacer uso de ellas. Mi esposa no durmió así como ella necesita una almohada con contorno y no había ninguna disponible.

Desventajas: Cost was a little higher than I wanted to pay considering we did not have a view of any kind as facing another building, but I didn't have time to really shop for something a little less so I did not rate lower. Bathroom was very tight, but I understand that this is sometimes the case when you travel abroad. We traveled for 3 weeks in British Isles and stayed at wonderful places, some of which had a incredible value for what we got.

Ventajas: Pasamos una semana aproximadamente en Londres y nos alojamos en el St. Giles. No nos arrepentimos. Cerca de la acción de West End y mucho más barato que algunos en la zona. Este hotel también es frecuentado por tours - de autobús.
La habitación estaba bien aunque pequeña (habitación casi de hotel japonés pequeño). No usamos sus restaurantes y fuimos a mucho, mucho mejor buffet en la calle para el desayuno.
El personal de recepción era muy servicial.

Desventajas: Didn’t enjoy breakfast, sausages were burnt, fatty bacon , not much choice of cereal, no granola, also very small dining area. And the room we stayed in was also very small barely room to walk around the whole of the bed, and bathroom tiny!!

Desventajas: A terrible experience! The room is so small that there is no air. no air conditioner, no heating, TV not working. At this hour we had to settle for what was. When we asked if the order could be canceled, they said we would be charged the full price. The staff, especially the receptionist girl who treated us were not at all welcoming. We felt they were doing a favor that they even unser to me . The room was filthy, no linen was changed from the day we arrived. The room is so crowded that two suitcases cannot fit together, but can only be on each other. Reasonable breakfast .Except for the location, i really do not recommend getting close. Not worth the grief. If you are average weight people and above, you can't even breathe in the shower. There is no room for two people with suitcases. Just don't! We skipped from one side of the room to the other by walking on the bed. If you need air, don't come to this hotel.

Desventajas: Queue to check in, very slow lifts - there are 4 but we never had two opening at the same time and this meant a lot of time waiting for them to arrive and when they did they were often full. I would prefer a larger bath towel.

Desventajas: Los ascensores estaban desordenados y sólo funcionaba. Las líneas de los ascensores eran enormes y cuando nos fuimos tuvimos que llevar las bolsas por las escaleras.

Desventajas: The room wasn’t ready when we arrived at after 4pm. Then the receptionist told us he didn’t know When the room would be ready, not long hopefully, so we used a friends room to get ready and to leave our luggage as we had dinner plans. When we arrived back at the hotel after 9pm, we were told our room was ready. We went to our room which was clearly under renovation, dirty, unmade bed empty drink cartons and rubbish all over the bathroom floor. We went back to reception and the receptionist was unaware of the filthy room or that it was getting renovated. Room2 on another floor, no air conditioning, broken and when the maintenance guy came he said the hotel was aware but told him to show his face to keep the customer happy. What a diabolical way to treat paying customers. I WON’T BE RECOMMENDING YOUR HOTEL, YOUR ONLY INTERESTED IN MY MONEY NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE- SHAME ON YOU.

Ventajas: Lo mejor la ubicación en Marble Arch al comienzo de Oxford Street.
Desventajas: Para empezar ya no se llama Cumberland sino que es un Hard Rock Hotel, algo que podrían haber avisado cuando reservamos o a posteriori pero no lo hicieron y cuando llegamos nos causó bastante confusión a nosotros y al personal de recepción que directamente nos mandó a otro hotel. Finalmente aclaramos el lío, pero no gracias a la ayuda del personal del hotel. Hasta las 15H no te garantizan que puedas acceder a la habitación (cosa que para ser justos, avisan en la reserva) pero ni siquiera puedes hacer el check-in!!! Incomprensible. Al intentar acceder a nuestra habitación por la noche nos encontramos con que estaba ocupada por otros huéspedes!!!!!! Obviamente nos quejamos en recepción y nos dieron otra habitación pero con unas excusas del todo absurdas y sin disculpas por parte de la gerencia del Hard Rock. Todavía veo la cara de susto de los "ocupas" de nuestra habitación...... En general es un hotel MUY ruidoso y que estaba claro no estaba preparado para la cantidad de huéspedes que tuvieron ese fin de semana (Pride, BST, etc). Lamentándolo mucho no voy a volver a hospedarme aqui, de hecho si me hubieran avisado con antelación del cambio de titularidad hubiera cancelado la reserva ya que el hotel es caro y no ha merecido la pena la experiencia.
