We had a noise issue with some water pumps and they changed us the room without any problem, thank you for that! Nice pubs and restaurants close to the hotel. Highly recommendable hotel!

Ventajas: The location, the view, the staff, the room (everything controlled by the ipad) room keys worked the entire time we stayed, the design of the hotel, seemed like there was an emphasis on being eco friendly. Even though the room is small it has everything you need and if it isnt in the room it’s somewhere else in the hotel. The sky bar is amazing especially at night with everywhere outside lit up

Desventajas: We changed room for one time because the aircon is not working well. We tried to set the temp to 18C with highest fan mode but it has no wind and feels like 20-23. Technician came by and said this is the best temperature they can have. So for people who are scared of heat might need to take this as consideration. (Though you won't feel too hot when you are just lying on bed...) Room 509 ipad screen touching not working too well, cannot change channel since second day so need to use the remote control. A bit surprised that there is no kettle in room. Can't get any hot water so need to get out for hot tea/coffee... Slightly overprice, probably because we booked too late and it is mid-Sept where students/parents are visiting UK...

Desventajas: Had ‘interior’ room was expecting one with a view, as headlined on your web site. We asked to change but no outside view rooms available. Disappointing as we had booked the hotel almost a month before. Who gets the view rooms and why? Didn’t like having to crawl into bed, I.e. no space either side to get into bed as normal, not easy for two pensioners, one with arthritis. Hot Breakfast first morning was good, second morning, only eggs were actually hot.

The Spa facility was nice too, quite basic and small but cute, clean and better than nothing. The roof top bar was definitely a bonus too but be sure to reserve a table as gets really busy on the weekend.

Having a quick search on booking.com and the Montcalm came to our rescue. Perfectly located and good value for a last minute panic when we found ourself stranded in London without anywhere to stay at 9pm!

Desventajas: We tried to reserve a space on roof top bar when we booked but no one got back to us so we didn't end up getting a table. I also think the room should be left with more water or at least each floor have a water/ice machine but this is only a mild suggestion rather than necessity.

Desventajas: Our room was on the 9th floor, underneath the rooftop bar - we were not advised of this on arrival and found it hard to get to sleep for the noise. Spa area was looking a little tired.

Desventajas: En el piso de arriba de todo es muy molesto escuchar los pasos de la terraza donde hay un restaurant, pero al decirlo el personal nos reubico muy amablemente sin problemas, un poco molesto los asensores cuando se escucha eventualmente “puerta abriendo” “puerta cerrado” el aire acondicionado creo que el ultimo dia no andaba correctamente de todas maneras no pase calor, falto escobilla para baño, y no pregunte si tenian paraguas de cortesia ya que nos tocaron algunas lluvias, por ultimo hay algunos ruidos de puertas abriendo y cerrando en los pasillos temprano estimo sera la limpieza pero de todas formas nada de esto hizo que tenga una mala estadia, el personal realmente es muy amable

Ventajas: Pasamos 6 noches en el Mondrian con nuestros hijos mayores. El hotel tiene una estupenda ubicación, cerca de las mejores atracciones. Gran vista al mar. Nos tomamos unas copas en los bares que tienen buenos cócteles y vistas. Las habitaciones muy modernas con buena ropa de cama de calidad. A mis hijos le encantó que había un cine en el hotel. Altamente recomendado!!

Ventajas: Un hotel excepcional en Londres. El servicio, la habitación, las comodidades, los restaurantes y los bares eran excelentes. Hermosa vista del Támesis. Sin duda me volveré a alojar aquí en mi próximo viaje a Londres. No puedo decir lo suficiente sobre nuestra experiencia en el Mondrian.
Desventajas: La única decepción fue que uno de los cómplices parecía inexperto. Nos reservó un servicio de té muy mediocre en un restaurante de Londres.

Ventajas: I absolutely loved this hotel! It was something a bit different. Quirky decor, very trendy and the bedrooms, whilst fairly snug, were state of the art with a fantastic bed and great shower. Loved the mood lighting. I think what made the stay was the staff, who were fantastic! Enjoyed the early check in and the late check out. The location was great too. Mi habitación era bastante baja, así que tal vez si tienes una habitación en un piso más alto el ruido no será un problema. Honestamente, no me molestaba nada, pero quería mencionarlo, ya que podría hacerlo para algunas personas. Suministran tapones para los oídos en la habitación.

Desventajas: We had some trouble with checking into the hotel and spent almost an hour standing at the reception desk before being checked in. We had paid for a double room with included both a shower and separate bath. There was no bath. The room itself looked nice but was not as big as advertised. We came back to the room after enjoying drinks and entertainment downstairs within the hotel. Pulled back the bed covers to find a nice dirty sock that didn’t belong to us. In the morning we woke up to a foul blocked toilet that absolutely stank and was quite obviously out of use. We called the hotel staff who told us there wasn’t actually anything they could do about it immediately and would send an engineer. However the issue still wasn’t even attended to by the time we checked out. Extremely disappointing given the amazing reviews we read about before choosing this hotel.

Ventajas: I booked our stay as a 30th birthday gift for my girlfriend and the staff went above and beyond to make it a special occasion; helping me make secret preparations, assisting me with an early check-in and even giving us complimentary prosecco and cupcakes. The room had one of the comfiest beds I've ever slept in and we spent a wonderful day at the beautiful rooftop Lido, swimming in the pool, taking in the view of Shoreditch and eating a delicious dinner of oysters and mac 'n' cheese in the restaurant. A birthday to remember; thank you so much to everyone at The Curtain!

Desventajas: I booked a specific room and was given a key for an apparent upgrade, was not an upgrade they just didn’t have the room I booked. Had sent special requests stating the room I wanted and drove 80 miles to stay. Took an hour of sitting in 2 other empty rooms and a few tears shed by the time we settled it was 10.30pm and we were top tired to go out to eat . The man was not as helpful as he could of been I felt like I was having a battle with him..., the rooms are beautiful and clean but was not impressed with the customer service at all, the gym is amazing. Burned my foot pretty bad on the metal things I’m the shower which are labelled outside but once your having a steam they become invisible. Have stayed before and had a perfect stay which is why I went back but overall this time I was disappointed

Desventajas: The tube stop directly next door was closed for weekend maintenance, so we found ourselves having to walk to and from either Liverpool St or East Aldgate. This was not the hotel’s fault but it was a minor inconvenience considering we picked the hotel based on the fact it was next to a station. I imagine if you’re staying here during the week that’s not an issue but weekend trip guests might want to reconsider, especially if you’re like us and had heavy bags. The rooftop bar was a fabulous view but £27 for two drinks was a double take. But that’s London, so.

Desventajas: It was particularly loud over the weekend, with DJ sets and crowds drinking/dancing - I stayed at the 2nd floor and could hear the music. Moreover, every time I went downstairs to eat I found that every chair was occupied by locals using their computers. Perhaps the hotel has a very friendly internet policy, but it felt a lot more like a ' SHARED OFFICE SPACE' then a Hotel lounge.

Ventajas: Absolutely loved this hotel. Location really great for Brick lane, Shoreditch station & Spitalfields 10min walk at most. Hotels ascetics were very cool and the place had a real buzz. Non guests were in using the in house cafe which added to the lively atmosphere of the place. Room was very quiet and comfortable, great little extras to. My dog was made very welcome and was given his own bed and water bowl for the night. Staff were friendly & helpful. I’d stay again!

Some signs to let us know where we could get breakfast would have saved us asking 3 different people who gave us a few different answers. Enamel mugs without handles to make hot drinks in that were left in the room - totally impractical.

Desventajas: I had flowers delivered to me at the hotel and these were turned away at reception with the reason being that I wasn't staying at the hotel which was incorrect. I left my key and a note at reception for my son to collect and leave his luggage in my room, reception said that I had not done this and did not have a key for him. During my 12 nights there a card was sent to me which I never received.

Desventajas: Had to be cut out of the bathroom when the door handle failed Toilet seat loose Shower door kept falling off rail Nasty sick patches on carpet by bed Bed was insanely hard Bed was not a double - two singles pushed together with no topper to dull the discomfort of the join. Reception staff couldn’t have cared less about me getting trapped in the bathroom. When my partner called reception again to find out where the handyman was after 10 minutes, they put the phone down on her before she could speak. No apology at any time. The whole hotel is very tired Poor value for money. Won’t stay again.

Beautiful area as right next to St. Paul’s cathedral and madison rooftop bar. Would highly recommend and come again. The staff even gave my boyfriend cupcakes as it was his birthday.

The breakfast is very nice and until a decent hour in the morning. All personnel did their best for make our stay better with a special thank you for the concierge team.

Ventajas: Perfect location, very quiet and peaceful but still on the doorstep of everything you need. My room was beautiful, immaculately clean, the bed was dreamy, super comfortable I had an amazing nights sleep. I will defiantly stay here again!

Desventajas: Though, I don’t like to rate any property negatively, but this property is not the best place to stay. Reasons - 1. It is extremely expensive for a small room. No value for money. If I got the services, still it was understandable. 2. The reception didn’t get back on questions all the time. They are not very welcoming except one person Mr. Lalin who was an exception 3. The concierge was decent. 4. The room was not cleaned properly, Mary time I felt not at all. For two days, there were no big towels 5. They took away the glass water bottle they had provided with no proper answer. 6. The hotel was surrounded by office buildings , zero view of even a street. 7. The bar downstairs was the worst. They were non responsive, would ignore you even after looking at you for more than 20 minutes. You had to call them time again to grab their attention. Once I saw a person making a drink and tasting it And then Giving to the customer. We never went again

Desventajas: No fault of the hotel as I can understand why you’d rent it out. However I was looking forward to seeing the views on the rooftop and having a drink, but it’s was rented out for a birthday event.

Desventajas: Las habitaciones privadas son muy pequeñas y literas, no es buena la relación calidad precio, muy caro para lo que es. Los baños compartidos son sucios e incómodos. En las habitaciones compartidas los baños privados son minúsculos, casi no te podes mover. No tiene cocina ni heladera por lo que si te compras algo fuera del hostel tenés que tirarlo o guardarlo caliente en las habitaciones (que son súper calurosas)

There were people constantly causing ruckus in the corridors - knocking on doors, laughing, screaming and playing games. It was literally like somebody was standing on top of my head and talking because the doors and walls were paper thin. There was no discipline and no security even when this was going on at 3am. There was also noise constantly coming from the road with this hostel right on the highway. One of the receptionist was also very rude and acted like we were staying for free or doing him a favour by staying there. Breakfast is also very bad, not at all worth the many. The location is also in a very shady and unsafe place, not at all close to any tube connections. Worst Place - Don't stay.

Desventajas: They hired people who are already guests in the place so they had no experience at all with dealing with guests I found most of them unhelpful they just want to get it over with plus there was maintenance so at times there was 1 bathroom serving 24 people
