Ventajas: The location is great. Right around the corner from the V&A and the Natural History Museum. Across the street from the Tube, and surrounded by great restaurants. This was the perfect home base for a weekend in London. The decor was charming and whimsical, sort of Alice in Wonderland with lots of bright colors and a bird theme which ran through the hotel. Our room was small as most London Hotels are, and finding a place to stow the luggage was a bit of a hat trick, but once we figured it out, everything was great. Although we never had breakfast at the hotel, we did have morning coffee and tea in the tea room every day. Delightful. Would return in an instant!

Ventajas: The hotel is truly lovely. I think we had the smallest room there which I booked unknowingly. But it worked just fine. The bed was so comfy. There were slippers and robes and the bathroom floor was heated. The daily tea was also very nice. I can't write enough to explain how exceptional the hotel, staff and location were. You will have to try it for yourself. Overall I plan to go back to London and stay here again.

Ventajas: I loved pretty much everything about the hotel. I stayed there twice in September. It was gorgeous inside, extremely well located near the South Kensington tube and nearby pubs and restaurants in Chelsea, the staff was simply wonderful and the rooms were pretty and very comfortable. Also loved the front room where you can grab a bite to eat and a glass of wine, and the breakfast room downstairs. The free water, juices and soft drinks provided in the bar fridge were a nice touch.

Also loved the front room where you can grab a bite to eat and a glass of wine, and the breakfast room downstairs. The free water, juices and soft drinks provided in the bar fridge were a nice touch.
Desventajas: The gym was very well appointed in terms of weights, towels and free water but the space was too small in my view, it needed to be at least double the size as only 2-3 people would comfortably fit. Equally, the smaller hotel rooms (where my sisters stayed) have limited space if you are staying for more than 2 nights, but the hotel reception kindly advised us of this beforehand.

When we checked on booking.com there were rooms available. When we informed them of this, the suites suddenly became available. They’re just after your money all of the time. Desventajas: The rooms are not very sound proof we had extremely loud neighbors several nights. More of business hotel. There were not many things to help tourists book restaurants or get around. The staff didn't have guidance on hop on hop off buses or tours. We figured it out on our own but I think in other hotels there is more help for that type of thing.

Desventajas: Varias cosas que deberían de ser cambiadas. No es un hotel de cinco estrellas. No se como tiene esa categoría. La habitación, totalmente decepcionante. Inmobiliario muy anticuado, la insonorización pésima. La tele no funcionaba correctamente, la moqueta tenia manchas ( que probablemente no se podían eliminar). Pienso que el hotel, en su día fue un muy buen hotel de cinco estrellas, pero ha día de hoy necesita un reforma de inmobiliario, no puedes pagar un hotel de cinco estrellas cuando hay de cuatro mejores que este.

Ventajas: This year was my turn to take charge of our Anniversary surprise - I knew I wanted to do a romantic night out London and wanted an extra special room to make the night even more magical so I booked a stay in the Drop dead Gorgeous splash suit. It really was drop dead gorgeous! It exceeded all my expectations in every way, my partner was speechless as we were shown around our room. The room was beautifully decorated; balloons and petals were put in our room which we appreciated so much. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The hot tub in the room was highlight of the night. It was so warm and cosy. The bed was so comfortable - We both slept like babies and had a wonderful breakfast in the morning to end our stay. I have been bombarded with messages asking about this room and have highly recommended it to every single person. Thank you so much for making our night so special! Hope to visit again!

Making the reservation I requested a “Green Room” and a hotel’s assistant responded momentarily, answered all my questions and promised me to follow up on all my requests. Everything was finally done. I really liked the bathroom. It had a big bathtub and very nice shower cabin. Bath amenities were of high quality! An additional plus was daily complementary water and snacks. I found the hotel’s location great. It is just across the street from the Natural History Museum, 10 min by walk from Kensington Gardens/Hide Park. It is a pretty easy walk to Buckingham Palace and Trafalgar Square. The metro station is also right next to the hotel.

The hotel is in a perfect location and they kindly upgraded our room and gave my partner a birthday card, such a lovely gesture. The staff are very friendly and helpful; particularly Andrea on reception who was wonderful. We had a great stay and would recommend this hotel.

But still a lovely breakfast just didn’t feel very welcome

Ventajas: The location is perfect! Close to everything. Walking distance within few minutes you can find self-service laundry, 24 hours convenience store, restaurants and bars, and most importantly the Earl’s Court metro station that brings you to everywhere. The breakfast is good although not many varieties, it’s sufficient to me! Staff was friendly and helpful. It was a good stay!

Desventajas: Nos dieron una habitación en una zona anexo al otro lado de la calle del edificio principal. Era muy pequeña y probablemente merecería calificaciones diferentes a las habitaciones de la casa principal. Un poco de cebo y cambio. Desde luego, no parecía que las habitaciones anunciaban en su sitio web.

Desventajas: WiFi was poor even though I was on the ground floor, While checking in time one staff were talking to us aggressively don’t know why , we asked for early checking but due to room availability she couldn’t manage it . we can understand but why the aggressive attitude!? We were 4 individuals they upgrade to except 1!! No complementary water in the rooms AC wasn’t cooling.

Desventajas: When we got to our room late at night the air conditioner was not working properly and the room VERY cold while the bathroom was VERY hot. The front desk sent someone to check it out and sure enough it was broken. They were booked and could not move us and told us to turn it off and open a window. ( They were not apologetic and seemed to not really care).They said they would move us in the morning. We opted to have them fix it as we did not want to waste our vacation time moving into another room in the afternoon. Did NOT get fixed that day. It took 2 days to fix it. They were not the friendliest staff.

Desventajas: Lifts far too slow to close doors and to get up to each floor Main restaurant menu far to fancy, none of my tea wanted to eat there, 90% of people there, chose drinks and not good. Menu was trying to be Michelin, when nice good food, without silly 'trying too hard' names and combinations would have worked. Staff in restaurant were slow. The exec happy hour canapes were poor and not nice. Drinks too 30mins to arrive, Canapes had to remind them 3 times. Air con machine making banging and clicking sounds, woke us both up at 5am. Not good, would not sleep in hotel again, unless these issues are fixed.

Desventajas: Old building and the service was very poor. Our request for an early check in was not met and saw most of the guests loitering in the lobby until their rooms were ready. Had to wait for 4 1/2 hrs to get the room (till the normal check in time). Looks like they stick to their normal check in time irrespective of the availability of the rooms. Fire alarm went off at 5.30 am the following day and no one knew the reason for it. It was cold and raining outside and there were no umbrellas or a shelter to go out of the hotel. Staff were not properly trained for such a situation and they gave us different answers for the alarm to go off. Fire truck came with only two fire men and after about 40 mts allowed to go in. Alarm went off 3 times again the same day around 11.30pm and yet again the same routine. We were scared as hell for the rest of the 3 nights as we had no option left and were on the 4th floor and no escape if a fire breaks out. The breakfast was awful and no choice at all. From the second day onward we opted to go out to have breakfast. Its definitely not worth the money we paid.

Desventajas: Didn’t have breakfast as gluten and dairy intolerant, so wouldn’t have been value for money. It would have been a nice touch if still bottled water was complimentary. Noise from kitchen above caused a disturbance to sleep. Stain on carpet.

Desventajas: We stayed for 5 nights. We left a note after the first night asking for a couple of maintenance related things (light in bathroom was out and tub and sink was slighlt clogged). We also requested some wash cloths. Good for 3 days, not for 2.

Desventajas: Beware of the £50 per NIGHT holding fee they charge as I didn’t see any detail on this when I booked. They also don’t refund it until 5-7 days after you check out which I also wasn’t made aware of until three follow up calls after. The room was also a bit shabby which I normally wouldn’t mind as we are real it’s just a place to rest your head people and are rarely in our room anywhere we go but it was an occasion stay and the room had very obvious paint touch ups needed and the staff weren’t rude by any means but not overly helpful or friendly either and I found being told to go sit down when ordering at the bar and then being charged a table service fee very strange.

Desventajas: The furniture was dated and old. The chair did not feel solid and everything in the room looked and felt like it was at least 15 years old and had not been updated. The bathroom (whilst a good size) had a musty smell to it, which added to the feeling that this place needed an upgrade. The TV had very few channels on it (Freeview has more variety) and i couldn't even find the basic channels like BBC, ITV etc. There was very little room for hanging clothes since half the width of the (door-less) handing space was take up by the ironing board. The AC was very strong and the fan speed at its lowest was high. Trying to turn the temperature up or down was useless, you just get the same cool temperature. Not worth the price at all!! There are hotels in the area less than 5 minutes walk at a lower cost and significantly better than this.

Desventajas: Room had too many beds in for the size. 3 tier beds meant no head room in middle bunk. I had been given a bottom bunk because I have a bad back but someone had taken it. As bottom bunks were on the floor O would have struggled with them as well, to stand up when I got out. People having sex in bunks next to me and person under me had the sour smell of someone who had not washed in a long time. I suspect the person was homeless and using the hostel for somewhere to live. Breakfast was ok. I stay in hostels a lot and have stayed in the Safestay in York which was much better and not so crammed together, cleaner too. The laminate on stairs to reception was lifting on each step which is a trip hazard.

There are lockers in rooms but you need to have your own padlock and a key (otherwise buy at the reception). No towel provided (again, can rent there). At the reception you get a card to access the hostel and your room, and you get a paper that they expect you to carry with you everywhere (so that they can identify you, if necessary). No one ever asked for that paper, but the idea itself is annoying. There is no microwave or a fridge to cook your own breakfast or store some food

Pero nos dieron una habitación en la parte trasera del hotel donde todos pasaban durante la noche, la gente caminando por nuestra habitación se reían a carcajadas. Ahora normalmente esto no me habría molestado pero teníamos una ventana que no se cerraba bien así que era bastante ruidosa. Desventajas: La habitación con cama de matrimonio era muy pequeña. No hay mucho espacio para caminar. Bien si sólo estás usando la habitación para dormir. El acceso gratuito a Internet Wi-fi es lento, uno debía volver a iniciar sesión cada vez que volvía al hotel.

Desventajas: Checked in and was met with a queue and also no welcome just a response of do you have ID for the room. We only booked the standard rooms, four of them and they were pretty basic and cramped for a hotel hitting £150plus a night. Wouldn’t stay again. I’d probably use some of the other smaller hotels and save some money. Expectations were higher than what was realised with this hotel. Also got woken up at 7.30 with a maintenance person knocking on next door for what seemed like minutes with no discretion.

It was very claustrophobic. There is a very contrast between the Hall of the hotel that seems very luxuous and the room. Unbelievable in actual times. Just went to the room to sleep every day, we stayed in the Hall the rest of time stayed in hotel. It was not possible to change room; listened other clients also contested some rooms, not know what or what exactly. Our room was 308. We felt discomfortable and thought even to pay and go to another hotel. The other rooms we don’t know how they lol like. Very bad price quality relation.

Ventajas: I really liked the night staff member - Lionel. I came in the middle of the night completely exhausted and his smile, his very warm approach has made me feel welcomed and safe. Honestly, I was a bit scared to stay in a hostel, especially because female dorm was not available at the time of the booking and the room is smaller than it is comfortable. He was polite, fun to talk to and helpful. I had genuine feeling he is a nice person to hang around. I was glad the locker inside of the room was big enough to store a small luggage and that in the bunk bed space you could find a plug, where to charge a phone. The long mirror in the room was also something I liked.

Desventajas: The rooms are uncomfortably small with too many bunk beds. When I wanted to open my tiny luggage, someone would open the door and hit me or someone would come out of bathroom and had to go through me. It was terrible to go toilet inside of the room as you could hear everything from the bathroom cubicle. Also I felt the bed curtains are not being changed after the guests left. There was no space to hang a towel, which is pretty annoying. The room ventilation was awful, there is a fan, which is noisy and terribly small window that opens at the bottom, not at the top - which I do not think is terribly safe or helping to ventilate.

Las camas muy pequeñas también, baño pequeño, no había un lugar donde relajarse después de patear la ciudad... A ver para echar una noche de paso quizás haga el apaño, pero yo vista mi experiencia.... No volvería.

So many towels, the shower and bathroom was very modern! everything looked like it was very well looked after also - cleaners and house keeping obviously doing a very good job! The location is brilliant literally like a two minute walk from the tube to the hotel and so easy to get around! We personally didn’t use the bar or order any room service etc so unable to make comment. Shower was really good and powerful!

Desventajas: The mattress was very ‘spring-y’ it wasn’t the greatest nights sleep, woke up with sore backs and hips. We were also in the basement although we did pay for a windowless room i’m not sure what we expected but it was still a lovely room. the constant noise you could hear also wasn’t the best throughout the night!

Desventajas: The rooms were like death apartment in china crammed tiny with 4 people shoved in a closet the beds were kid size and im only 5'8, an to talk about the heat and mug build up in the rooms if you stay never turn off the fan. we left days early just to get away from the place, the bathrooms stink of mold in the floor and around the sinks , the shower room is almost as big as the room just with lament flooring as the bathroom floor not properly vented and stinks of mold, we were informed to put our bags in out beds with the cuts shut so they can come in and vacuum the floor and our stuff would be say (oyes to use the storage drawer under the bed its cost 4 extra to use it) when we came back the room stunk of my friends perfume she had just bought the other day and out bags look like they had be moved or tossed around my hard carrier on was push on top of my bookback which i lef the book bag on top bc of my laptop that was inside. after the 2nd night of staying there me and my friend agreed this place in my 11 years of seeing the world was the worst place i have ever stayed there is like 1 bathroom on each floor to be shared with 20 people it seems, i would have to hold it in to use the bathroom at 4 knowing everyone was asleep because it not you will have 2-5 people try to open the door while your in the middle of your business, there is no outside sign or even a slide panel to state that someone is in there on topping it off its a no refund if you leave early or don't stay which i was willing to leave early after the first few nights of staying there i wouldent want the money back anyway it would probley end up smelling like the bathrooms like mold, it didnt help ether i'm sure at most of the bathrooms are straight piped because you can smell straight sewer when it rains, for a place in Hyde Park as well keeped and clean area this place as well below that stander-ed.

Ventajas: Good location, friendly staff, affordable prices. There were so many shower rooms and could use one, when the shower in my room was busy. I was allowed to leave my bags before the check in (fre) after the check out for 2.5 pounds
Desventajas: Luggage storage in the room is not included into the room price, I had to pay separately. However, the sum was not expensive. There was no hair drier.

Desventajas: At the dinning room mostly the tables were not clean as one came to have breakfast,atleast the workers in the kitchen should see to that everyone gets a clean table for breakfast.

Desventajas: We booked a 4 bed mixed dorm, which meant we were on the fourth floor, with no lift which means you will need to carry your bags and travel up and down to the very top of the building in order to get to your room. With this room we had a private bathroom, however this meant practically showering on the toilet, the shower curtain did NOTHING and meant the whole bathroom got flooded whenever anyone had a shower, including a wet toilet. During our stay a bunch of teenagers who sit on the next door neighbours steps and who smoke weed and play their music all night long whilst approaching people staying at the hostel asking if they want to buy drugs. We had spoken to someone who had stayed at the hostel months before and he said that they were also there on his previous stay, so something that always happens. The hostel staff don’t seem to do anything about them and they are allowed to come in and out of the common foyer as they please. There are lockers under the beds however they will charge you per day to be able to use it.

Ventajas: I like the location because it is in the city centre.
Desventajas: I have been to many countries especially in Asia and I have always stay on dormitories but I was shocked when I stayed here. Usually, when I arrived at a hostel, the bed is already ready, there is a pillow and mattress, everything..but this hostel is not ready at all. They will just give you the mattress and pillow cover, you will do it yourself. Its not a big deal for me but I am just comparing it to other hostels where I stayed. and you will have to look for an empty bed yourself. Almost zero on Customer Service. I knew from the pictures that its triple decker bed but I was shocked because of the space, Its like they tell you to just lie down most of the time. and what shocked me the most is that they have lots of staff cleaning the hostel but they don't include the rooms. They don't vacuum or have air spray to get rid of the smell from the shoes of other guests. Most of the reception also don't know customer service. They just sat there. In other hostels, After someone checks in, they will guide the guest to the room and inform where his or her bed is. The reception's job is just to sit, check their computer, give keys, give mattress. I hope they learn from Korean Guesthouses on how they do Guesthouse business. Being a low budget dormitory is not an excuse to not being able to give good customer service.

Desventajas: La habitación que al principio nos dieron no tenía conexión a internet y estaba cubierta de moho negro. Llegamos tarde por la noche y no había ningún gerente encargado de ayudarnos hasta la mañana siguiente los pasillos y las alfombras están sucios, pero una vez que nos trasladaron la segunda habitación no estaba mal.

Desventajas: Las habitaciones y las instalaciones sufrían de cualquier edad o de un diseño deficiente. A veces ambos. Tuve que pasar mucho tiempo en los cafés, porque la habitación no tenía una toma eléctrica para cargar mi teléfono. La única ventilación en la habitación era desde una ventana abierta, exponiéndote a todo tipo de ruido de tráfico durante toda la noche.

Desventajas: The staff in the reception are horrible! The Italian ones specially speaking.. how rude can some people be? Both Italian ladies in the reception would speak in italian language to each other and laugh at my face just because I didn't feel comfortable staying at a mixed room and wanted a female room. Very unprofessional. What a disgrace for the hostel these women are. Have the decency to speak about guests behind their back not infront of their faces!!!

Desventajas: Nothing like what i expected or lead to believe from images of the hostel, it was unclean, smelt bad and the staff were less than helpful. Location is great but the actual rooms and facilities leave a lot to be desired, it did the job for a night but I wouldn't recommend. Breakfast is literally just cornflakes, they have hot drinks machine but there were no teabags, staff were lazy and barely even looked at guests. There was no storage or option to lock away bags in the room and mattress was very hard.

Ni muerta volveria a ese lugar tan espantoso ,el desayuno corriente nada de otro mundo, las duchas y baños hediondos a orina , muy mal mantenido y para que decir recepción unos pesados un tipo y una tipa española ultra desagradable que parece que la cara les llegaba al suelo , nada de amabilidad cero interaccion con el huesped ,para mas colmo me sacaron de la pieza una noche antes de mi check in , lo unico bueno de eso, esq me bajaron la maleta desde el 5 piso por las escaleras , ahh porq no hay ascensor ni una dusculpa dieron por la falla de sistema , pero parece q es costumbre hacer eso leía por ahí , Londres es bello y en medio de la belleza está esta pudrición , mal mal mal mal .. no vayan . Mi error fue no leer comentarios de huespedes , no aparecian , y ahora entiendo porq , De ante mano ,gracias
