I loved that my children were entertained at the hotel and we did not have to leave to go to another park.
I did not like the smell of my room. It smelled like it needed to be aired out and that it was wet inside. It needed air freshener. The beds smelled stale and not clean. The chairs and couch felt dirty.
I like the fact that it was convenient to Disney and shopping.
The room was musty and carpet was always damp. After showering, we were never able to turnoff the water. The only time it was off was after cleaning crew came in. We had to put a towel underneath the bathroom door to avoid hearing the dripping sound.
Idea of the resort
Rooms are small and old
i love the spacious of the room. a room with a king, the other room with two twins and a sofa bed in the living room. Also three tvs so nobody fight for what to watch.
I didnt like the smell of the room and the carpet it was kind of dirty.
It was close to disney. Easy to get in and out of the hotel. Service was not close to disney standards
The bathroom needed to be remodeled. No ice machine. No signs to direct you to an ice machine. All the activities centered around small children. Nothing for older ones. Beyond the pool, everything cost more money.
My children liked the water park.
As soon as we checked in we started getting the strong arm to upgrade our room. We were lied to and told the rest of our party was staying in another side of the resort so we would pay for the upgrade. When the rest of our group checked in they were on the side of the resort we were originally on. Then we had a few run ins with staff. If you are going to be a family resort 2 miles from Disney property then I am going to compare you to Disney. No where close to Disney. The staff is rude. They are not focused on the customer. I had two employees yell at me and tell me I was wrong. They wanted to argue more than fix the problem. It does not matter if I am wrong (I was not) you should not argue with your customer. This is my first and only stay at the Nickelodeon resort. Orlando has a huge market for family resorts and this resort is not worth the (or any) money. Customer service is not a concern with this hotel so I am no longer concerned with staying there.
The swimming pool
The rooms are over used.
Compared to the average hotel room, these room were designed to have the feeling of being at home. The facilities and grounds were very well kept. And the staff seemed to be on point with service. The entrance to the hotel had easy access from the highway.
The worst decision was to choose between going to an all day Disney Park or staying at the hotel. The water park was missing tubes and taller slides.Having to go from one pool into the freezing area of the mall to get to the other side of the pool.0-0.
Fun water park for kids. Suites were nice for family.
Rooms smelled, area was not very clean. Activities were very overpriced.
Too expensive! It costs so much money just to stay a night then every activity costs extra!! There was only one elevator so the wait was at least 10 min one way... the rooms were not that cute... At the end of the day they had a TMNT television show episode by the pool where the turtles didn't even show up... why have this? We could watch the episode in the hotel room... TOO MUCH MONEY<< We will never go back nor recommend it for anyone!
The staff was great!
It was very outdated. Also the pool and slide hours were weird. For a place that main attraction of that hotel is the pool and slide's they would be open early and open pretty late. For the money I spent for a week there. I would also expect to get a chair at the pool. A few day's it was almost impossible.
Loved the activities available. the accessibilities to the parks. water park and pool were great although on Friday it did get jammed packed. The rooms were nice and clean. The Double Dare show was great and my 11 year old enjoyed being a contestant. The mall was nice with good places to eat. We went to two character meals the Italian themed teenage mutant ninja turtles which while slightly pricey the food was worth it and the characters were great. Breakfast was with spongebob and friends was fun but food was average.
Did not like that you were made to pay a resort fee. Since it's mandatory I would rather it was included in the room price seemed kind of sneaky better to be charged 30 dollars a night upfront then a separate charge after arriving. The only other thing I didn't like was that the arcade was super pricey. My son spent maybe an hour in there and blew through more then 60 bucks. Never again. If we return we will not be returning to the game room.
