The staff was very courteous and friendly, and we enjoyed the daily continental breakfast, which had a wide selection, and included fresh fruits, yogurt and orange juice. The pool is adjacent to the hotel at the front facing the car park, which doesn't give guest much privacy
This was our 2nd stay at this Hampton Inn. Amazing hot breakfast! Clean, comfortable room with plenty of counter space. Friendly staff. The pool and hot tub area has beautiful landscaping. I'd recommend staying at this hotel.
The staff was accommodating. Occasional musty smell most likely associated with humid weather.
The lobby. when you first walk it is breathtaking and you feel like yeah I'm fine dining and dropping 140 on a night just to relax ...until you get on the elevator and by that evening the regret sets spending that much money on underwhelming temporary digs 140 bucks I would have expected something a little more upscale. Mold smell, thin walls, Bad lighting . I saw a black fly looking very similar to a full grown bed bug, but I can't confirm. it had the feel of a cheap hotel just with better sheets. I paid 35 more for smoking and when I got there they had no idea of my reservation and I got jolted out of 35 bucks . Thanks Kayak . The front desk was pleasant and professional.
clean, comfortable, good value
Overall the stay was nice and we had very little to worry about. To be honest we weren't at the hotel much, but the room and gym were both very clean. Just about everytime we went to the front desk there was no one to be found to help us. We would hear them in the back laughing even after ringing the bell. Once someone would come up to help us, I felt like we were inconveniencing them and didn't feel comfortable asking what I'd wanted or they'd look at my like I had two heads.
There was no hot water the evening we checked in Had to wait until morning to shower
The staff was great. They even comped our parking because it was my husband's birthday. N/A
Clean, good location. Can't have a rollaway bed in a room with two double beds. Have to go to front desk for ice!!!
Shuttle service This was not a great hotel for family visits. Also, we had to pay extra for everything - parking was $16 a night , and for the price of a room it would have been nice to have some form of complimentary breakfast. I guess the more you pay, the more you have to pay. They made a big point of letting us know that the ice was complimentary, which made me laugh because where in this country is it not?
Location is good, 8min to Pier. The supermarket and some food store is just besides the hotel, very convenient. The room is old,and the staff sometimes forget to change the towel. The dryer is very very dirty, not like a 5 star hotel.
The location When it stormed I had to park in a bank parking lot around the corner which made it for a very undesirable walk. When I pulled into the bank parking lot the attendant refused to let me park stating he had no idea what I was talking about. 2nd issue. The first front desk woman that checked us in was amazing. So helpful and nice! You could tell she really enjoys her job. The front desk girl who checked us out was horrible. She checked us out on Sunday August 31st. I asked the lady a couple questions about the area and she couldn't answer anything and appeared to not wanted to be bothered. I understand you have a concierge but he wasn't available. Please educate your guests a little about the area. Like recommendation on a nice restaurant. 3rd issue. The room was huge but I stepped in something that was very slimy. It appeared to be maple syrup which was all over the floor. I have stayed there before and had a better experience
Offered shuttle bus to Tropicana Field to attend baseball game. Helpful staff (especially Edith Odonez) Nothing. Great experience
location; Near everything, but just far away enough from the street noise from beach street restaurants and bars. Staff: Friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Is an old building turned into a hotel: rooms are small (uncomfortable for a party of 4). Bathroom is TINY. Beds are okay. BREAKFAST You are better off walking down to Beach street and enjoying a great breakfast outdoors for the same price.
Adorable hotel in a great location with very helpful and friendly staff. The beds were super comfortable, the bathroom was perfect size, the A/C worked great and wasn't loud at all. For the price, it's a steal! Our stay was perfect. The only thing I that wasn't way above expectations was the water pressure in the shower.
Great aesthetics and friendly staff The bed wasn't all that comfy and light shined in all around the door. Pillows should be full sized instead of those little ones. We used the pillow shams.
It's a nice clean well located hotel. Rooms are a little tight, bathrooms are small, no tub just standing shower. Small TV actually I guess my only complaint is that it is very compact, but this might not be an issue for most people. At the price point it seems tiny to me.
Hotel was well maintained. Room was a good size and the location was great. The pool area needs work. For being in Florida I feel if you are going to have a pool area it should be inviting but it looked like no one ever used it. Disappointed.

Great location Smells
Hotel employee was quite wonderful. She constantly made sure my needs were taken care of. Outstanding customer service. The bathroom was quite small. Very hard to use the toilet when it's pressed up against the shower. We ended up using the bathrooms in the main lobby.

The location and staff Didn't stay long enough to not like anything
Beautiful, spacious, and clean Not new & fancy outside.
all the staff were extremely helpful. The valet parkers were fast and friendly. The hotel was quiant, chic, and great location. Everything was on the money.
Mi hija y yo nos alojamos recientemente mientras estábamos de vacaciones del colegio. Tuvimos una experiencia excelente. Todo el mundo fue muy amable y servicial. Realmente disfrutamos nuestros alojamientos. El servicio era excelente. Nos encantó la ropa de cama. ¡Volveremos! El baño necesita un ventilador. El lavabo se limpiaba lentamente.
When there was no Sweet N Low in the room for coffee and they ran out downstairs; we let the front desk know and due to housekeeping would have been 20 minutes; the girl from the front desk brought it to our room herself within 5 minutes. Requested pool towel replacement for an evening of swimming and it was fairly busy; housekeeping was out there within 5 minutes stocking up. Really good accommodations. This Hilton goes out of their way to make your stay pleasant! P.S. - Publix and a few restaurants were right in the park, which was an added bonus!
Staff was very welcoming and this had the feeling of a luxury business hotel. We needed a King with a pull out couch, and after a problem with the first room we were upgraded to a Jr. Suite with a separate bedroom. This made the stay very comfortable--I wish we had stayed here more nights. This hotel is tucked in a business park area with not many cars passing by. There isn't much around this hotel, which might be why it felt so quiet.
Great location on the beach with friendly and helpful staff. Also has nice, big rooms that are great for kids. The last day we were there it appeared as though someone forgot to empty the pool trash cans. However, otherwise and at other times (we have stayed there many times) the Alden is always very clean.
The location is great! Walking distance is most anything! Price I think was appropiate and it was nice! Would go there again!! Rooms could be bigger, but other than that I can't think of anything!!
The resort is great, right on the beach. The staff is nice, overall a great stay at Alden.
Loved the location and beachfront access. Close to a lot of great restaurants and bars. The staff was awesome and very friendly. We forgot a shirt and bottle of cologne at checkout. They called about an hour later to tell us that we left some things behind. That was very unexpected and very much welcomed. Great family hotel with lots to do with the kids. There was sand all over the room like the floors hadn't been vacuumed from the previous visitors. It was definitely irritating that house keeping left an envelope for tips. We couldn't take our shoes off. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. Bathrooms were dated. Parking was very tight also. If you were driving after dinner time, good luck parking.
The kitchenette, complimentary coffee and daily newspaper were appreciated. Not as dog friendly as advertised.
There were a variety of activities; shuffle board, ping pong, bags, basketball and tennis. The rooms do not even remotely resemble the pictures, they are beyond dated to the point of grungy. There is a small stove with a frying pan and a pot but nothing to bake with. The rooms smell bad and there is really no control over the temperature of your room.
The hotel was great for the price! Friendly staff, clean, close to beach and restaurants, plenty of parking, 2 pools, 1 hot tub, elevators, tennis courts, shuffle board, etc. Hotel provided a crib for our 8 month old but we ended up bringing our own pack and play. Able to rent out cabanas on beach daily for $25, which provided a nice shaded area for the baby. The hotel was clean but it was kind of dated. Smoking was allowed by the pool areas. The bar on the beach closed super early on the weekend.
We have stayed at the Alden for the last 3 to 4 yeras and find it a good place to hang out and enjoy the breach. The staff is very responsive to any request you made to them. Good job by all.
Staff was friendly, great location, clean rooms, great value
several pools. toys/floaties provided. very kids friendly. beautiful beach to walk lots of shells to find. lots of room in the suites, great value for your money.
The staff at Alden Suites made you feel like you were staying in a 5-star hotel. They were so kind, helpful and very accommodating. I did not like that there was not a work-out facility on the premise.
Can't beat the location for beach time. The staff is friendly. The grounds are well tended. The facilities are definitely dated; the property could use some sprucing up.
Great value. Awesome staff. Everyone was so friendly. Perfect location, close to lots of restaurants and shops. We were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted, Nice historic feel. Charming It was loud with traffic noise but you're right on a busier street so we kind of expected it. It did quiet down at a certain time at night, we stayed during the work week.
Close to the airport. They were quite full when we checked in- so we were told there were only rooms with king beds left- also there were no roll aways. We wee traveling with our children ages 6,5, and 18 months. They brought us extra sheets and pillows to make a bed on the small love seat (not a pull out) but there were no extra blankets. My kids had no where to sleep. Breakfast was mediocre and staff seemed frazzled and confused.
Helpful staff, good menu at restaurant Very noisy from the road, the elevator and the AC in room. not a restful night. Pool also small with little seating and windows from the restaurant - no privacy.
Luxurious and relaxing
I was local and my AC went out so I stayed at this hotel. Very nice and comfortable. A little expensive for a Tuesday!
beach attendants very helpful and accommodating, especially Earnie Extra charges in the last few years such as parking and newspapers placed at doors in the morning.
Directly on a beautiful beach. Easy to find. Everything you need is in the resort.
Great staff- helpful, cheerful, funny, kind. way to soft beds and pillows- food prices are very high for what you pay for high priced room, and would have been nice receiving free coffee when ordering meals.
Great value. Beautiful sunset. Too far from downtown
The Staff were friendly and nice at check in. The room was roach infested and they never so much as emptied the garbage nor cleaned the bath tub. Not a good experience.
Front attendant was friendly. Old and dingy. Sheets and bed reeked of sweat and filth. Moldy bathroom. Location was horrible with homeless people trying to get rooms. The tv didn't work. We could not stay one minute in the room. We raced back home (3 hrs away) half asleep. This was just a health hazard all around.
Location was convenient, price was great, everything basically worked, bed was comfortable and the linen clean. Floor was dirty, AC was very noisy, everything old and worn (I'm OK with "dated" but this was a little beyond that, furniture had broken bits)
Price was great... Old rooms and noisy area.
Check in was smooth after they came and opened the locked lobby door at 9 pm. No one robbed me and the homeless dude who was sleeping by my car didn't break into my car. My room had dead roaches in it. The Ac was very loud. That helped to drown out the noise. The breakfast starts at 7 am. I had to be on the road at 630.
Average Days Inn hotel. The staff were friendly. The location is really sketchy, especially on weekends. Lock your car and room doors.
The "free breakfast" was particularly poor -- basically just toast, juice, cold cereal, and coffee.
Staff was excellent. Pool was clean and warm, room was spotless and bug free. Very quiet no excessive neighborhood noises, several convenient restaurants within walking distance. Price was great, would've been less had I called Days Inn myself. Would recommend this location for anyone seeking a quiet clean room to stay. Parking tight. No bagels at breakfast (dang).
Great location nice pool. cleaned daily apparently you have to pay for many extras that should be considered normal. such as an iron.
I liked it proximity to Central, but that is it..... Walking into the room was an experience (Smelled of Chlorine)! It is really more of a motel than a Days Inn. The neighborhood is sketchy. The cleanliness of the rooms and towels are questionable but hey my nostrils really couldn't smell anything after I got used to the room. If I could have changed my booking I would have, but the cancellation policy did not allow me to do so.
Nice hot tub, close (driving) to downtown and eateries. There was an issue with being charged by the hotel and by Kayak too accidentally. Was eventually resolved but a real hassle to get problem fixed. Bottom line...it was resolved. So I am ok with this mistake.
ALTHOUGH THE HOTEL WAS PRETTY GOOD THERE WAS SOME QUESTIONABLE AREAS IN CLOSE PROXIMITY OF THE HOLTEL THAT I DID NOT FEEL COMFORTABLE WALKING BY THERE IS SOME GREAT RESTURANTS IN THE AREA BETTER IF YOU DRIVE TO THEM ALSO MY BIGGEST PROBLEM I HAD WITH THIS LOCATION WAS THE FACT THAT THE MANDATORY VALET PARKING ACTUALLY COST YOU EACH NIGHT YOU STAYED THERE THE HOTEL MANAGEMENT MADE NO EFFORT TO MAKE SURE YOU WERE AWARE OF THIS UNTIL YOU GOT YOUR FINAL CHECK OUT BILL WHEN I QUESTIONED THIS I WAS TOLD THAT THERE WAS NOTICES IN YOUR ROOM AND IN THE LOBBY WHICH WHEN I RECHECKED I FOUND NO NOTICES ANYWHERE SO BE PREPARED FOR A SURPRISE ON YOUR BILL
This hotel was great overall. Nothing super special, but a clean, comfortable, central "home-base" for a vacation stay. The elevators were really sketchy. One was really old and creaky. My boyfriend got stuck in the other one for 20 minutes with sporadic electricity and physical jolting. When he finally made it off, he went to the front desk. They only gave him a neutral statement a la "glad you made it off." No apology, no indication that it would get fixed. He said they didn't even seem surprised by the incident.
loved everything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! too bad they dont take small dogs
Sirata has everything you need in one resort. It has a close proximity to the beach more than one pool in more than one jacuzzi. it has a clean room nice gym to work out in including free weights in the SIRATA also has A good laundry room. I recommend this ace to friends and I plan on returning in the future.
Very friendly staff, great location on the beach, good food and food reasonably priced, full-sized fridge Bedroom faces outdoor corridor so it is loud (doors closing, guests walking by), room was somewhat outdated
Clean rooms, friendly staff, good location on St. Pete Beach Poor service at breakfast restaurant with squirrels under outer table. Worn out facilities.
love the location and the pools are great. Harry's is delish. Some of the wait staff were not that great. The male waiter at Harry's took forever and would rarely check on you.
Love all staff, very nice
Beach location. Music at two different Bar/Restaurants. Breakfast at the Rum Runners Bar Area was good and right where the beach begins with a nice view of the gulf. Housekeeping did a good job making sure we didn't run out of amenities, coffee or towels. A little outdated but very clean. Ran out of toilet paper once since there wasn't an extra replaced under the sink that we used but there were tissues (housekeeping didn't notice right away.) There was a dehumidifier in the room that we had to empty ourselves 3 times since it would stop working once it was full. We thought housekeeping would take care of it but when they didn't, we did it ourselves rather than calling for someone to come each time. We had an evening flight and asked for an extended checkout. We were told that our room type was completely booked. T
