Location Smoking smell in the rooms. Lack of convenient electric sockets
Convience Tony Romas restaurant. They offer steak and lobster for $11.99 from 9:00 - 11:00pm. We went to eat at10:20 and were told that the wait was too long. I waited all night to have that dinner. Although the manager was nice enough trying to explain the situation I was not happy that we were not offered some sort of comp.
easy check in, baley parking excellent, food was so so didnt try Tony ramos. I dont like to compare I would think twice before coming back im not going to say that i will never come back. so I hope Fremont would make it up .. thank you For the price , the room was very small, bathroom uncomfortable, would need a lil updates,, pics, rugs, curtains etc. no housepitality thank you ..
Freemont street experience location. Buffett was very good. Valet parking worked well for us. NO RESORT FEE!! No pool - and the California hotel pool that Fremont shares with was closed. Older hotel. . .
Our room was facing the west we could not hear the bands on fremont st. the room was plain bed was old but clean. No frills but good enough for us. They were kind enough to let is check in on a friday at 1 pm which was great after long flight. toilet over flowed onto floor. window did not open in smoking room.
Location Front desk very unorganized and under staffed, slow
good location if you like the freemont experience affordable valet parking is nice our room was ransacked while we were out! reported to security, no response at all. there is no swimming pool :( loud, duh its the freemont experience but yes LOUD in your room. air-conditioner loud and didnt work very well to cool the room. no wifi! what?!! yes true. guess they want you out gambling instead. no coffee no fridge in room, guess they want you out of room...
Great value, clean rooms and clean organized casino floor. Bathroom a little small but well stock with towels
Nothing The room was too small, there where no curtains on the window just wooden shutters, the room was very hot in the morning, but at nights its was freezing. The bathroom was horrible, it was very small! I dont recommend this hotel to anyone!
No pool and "non" smoking rooms still smelled very much like cigarette smoke.
gambling area was nice. Employees at the sports book were nice and helpful. The men at the front check in desk were Very Rude! This set the tone for a poor experience. According to the men at the front desk they don't need my business.
Me encantó.
Apart from the price, the location is good because it is at the very center of the city, one block from the Fremont street. I was surprised that we could get this room for such a low price.
No.
Size of room, quite area breakfast buffet pretty poor, go somewhere else
This is a great place for the money. It is old but, well maintained. Food is good and reasonably priced for Vegas. No resort fee, but they will try to up charge you for WiFi. Just say no. Did not have a sports book, but there are others close by.
Me and my lady love the atmosphere of the hotel and staff, and the rooms where comfortable and clean, no complaints from either of us
Triple 7 Brewery is great. Great customer Service throughout Low priced drinks. The IPA is great. Showerhead is chest level.
Cold a/c and comfortable bed clean room . you can't get away from the smoke. I don't smoke and it still permeates the building they still allow smoking in the casinos.
enjoy the fact that this downtown property is a block and a half form fremont, so none of the light and noise pollution carries through. refrigerators in the room are a nice touch, though mine ended up freezing some of the goods i brought! great casino bar. shower heads are placed low, no blackout curtains.
The antique decor and the area of town are big pros for this hotel. Minor fault which plagues almost all of Vegas, strictly Pepsi products, no Coke.
The check in lady was awesome, they were overbooked and was going to only give us smoking room and when I told her we couldn't cause my wife was pregnant she immediately shifted gears and made an exception for us. Very awesome. room/bathroom was okay. No continental breakfast. Channels on the TV sucked. Wifi was not free and worse super expensive.
No bells and whistles.. Just a simple comfortable hotel and casino.. Nice place to stay downtown. Would definitely stay again The free buffet in the morning.. Awesome
no free wi-fi
Location great. Price good. Service good. Rooms are avtad shabby but nice views if you get the right one.
location is the one thing I liked about the hotel I did not like that housekeeper ignored my sign "Do not disturb" and inter my room anyway twice, even though I called the manager and complained. Frankly, I was afraid for my life. The hotel had a very poor security; extremely noisy environment and on top of that horrible smell of the room. I would not recommend this hotel.
The hotel is in a questionable part of town. The pictures on the sites do not depict the real experience. There are people living in this hotel long term. The room was dirty, only half the outlets worked, the door didn't lock, the mattress and boxspring are wrapped in plastic and I found a bug on my bed when I pulled back the cover. We only stayed one night and thought we could get the two nights credited back to us. Instead they said we broke the door lock and handle. Don't waste your money!
the room was old, internet does not work, there was a cockroach in bathroom, the pool does not work
don't like at all Fuck, last Saturday i pay with my credit card on arrival for usd55+tax 12%=USD61.60, but when i check my credit card account, they charge additional USD160++ the next day i check out, i m very sure they charge my credit card illegally without inform me, not only that,i got few more strange transaction in my credit card account total USD400++, now the bank is investigate, and most probably i will report this case to police,is really suck for my first visit in las vegas with this kind of experience,so everyone please beware when you make a hotel booking online. Find a secure website!!!
Price was OK. Bad neighborhood. No hot water. No phone. Only two outlets. No sound-proofing. No Gideon's Bible. Arguably the worst motel I have been to in 56 years. My wife shares that opinion
Staff is friendly as hell and they got DIY pancakes in the morning. There wasn't a ferris wheel on the roof? Not much fault to find unless you have a bad attitude haha
Pool, friendly staff, hot tub, beautiful women coming and going. Loved it. Quite a few homeless people in the area and a bit scary at night.
If you'd like to talk and get to know some foreign tourists this is the place. Poor poor parking accommodations. If you parking in the back of the secured area, you may not get out when more cram in. (Though it should be noted that it's nice that there IS secured parking).
Price Stinks dirty and weirdos walking around
Nice receptionist. Services as described and as expected. Could be a little cleaner. But understood. Overall had a good time
The cost is the most affordable in the city. The western end of Fremont Avenue might be a tourist attraction but the eastern extension of Fremont Avenue is the ghetto. There are more derelict properties than viable businesses. Stay briefly and secure your belongings.
They offered a full refund Not a real hotel. Its for backpackers. No TV. No towels. Not lock on the inside of the door. And I still haven't received me refund...
They accepted my therapy cat. Close to Fremont St. The bed legs stick out and we left with bruised legs! Very poor water pressure. Have to go through alley to the bar for ice. (Not safe!)

The decorations and how contemporary it was. The check in took too long. I was given the wrong room and manager stated that he would wave the resort fee for the inconvenience but didn't.
The staff was great The room was extremely hot when I walked in and it took forever to cool down, there was a roach in the bathroom, the cable was cloudy. Pool was only 3 ft deep.
The price is cheap for a '3-star' hotel. Music doesn't stop playing till 5am... Called front desk numerous times throughout the night (2am, 3am, 4am) about the noise with no actions from them. Definitely not a 3 star hotel! Maybe got 3 hours of sleep. A/C unit almost as loud as the music...
It was updated, clean and self contained. There was a great bar, outside there was music and lots of cool, fun games.
The room was clean and comfy. Bathroom was modern and beautiful, it had an iron and ironing board and a blow dryer. The pool looked beautiful. We originally had 2 side by side rooms, they gave me a room closer to ground floor due to issues with my knees. The elevator in the old part of the hotel wasn't working for a bit. No coffee pot in room.
The best thing about this hotel is the fact that it's downtown and within walking distance from the fremont experience and other bars on fremont. The bed is very comfy as well and I like the art decor in the room. It's noisy. You will hear music from the pool area, music from the gold spike, and other hotel guests talking/walking to and from their room. I was okay with this considering I only slept for 4hrs until checkout, since I was partying till 6am.
Location and pet friendly Our room smelled really awful and was covered in roaches. The other room they offered us was just as bad.
I was charged on my credit card for the room when I paid cash and was told that they would only put a $50.00 hold on it they had to refund my card
Loactaion Noise level
I like the fact they provided me with earplugs so I wobt hear the loud music ..it didnt help.. Hotel located in bad area. Rooms smell very bad. Loud music All night long..
hot water... dirty cum stained bed sheets on a Queen mattress and King bed frame. There was no phone , no remote for the TV, no shampoo and only 2 bath towel's . No hand or wash cloths . and to top it off no dead bolt or inter lock to keep any bad guys out.
Nothing Everything. Bed was not made, there was trash all over the place and the room smelled of cigarettes even when the room was a non-smoking room. Didn't even bother staying at all and decided to take the loss cash wise
Free Wifi We arrived the place and they told us there was a problem in the computer so we bad to go to their other hotel. They charged us the drive to get there, and that was way further than what we wanted so it took us then 1hour and a half to get back to airport
The worst hotel in town, had never dreamed of this worse. Nothing was in order, dirty bathroom, no room heating, never change towels, literally bugging people fr all amenities..
Nothing. Extremely terrifying, dirty, dangerous and could not stay here. The blankets were dirty, there were bugs, the area felt extremely dangerous. Worse than hostels.
Very shady neighbourhood, hotel seems to actually be a cheap apartment building. Flimsy door lock. Staff seems afraid. Bed was clean, but the rest of the room was dusty, bathroom very old, kitchen dirty.

Nothing Could not find anyone there!! I was waiting for someone to help me out and no one was there, very irresponsible
Nothing This place was a dive
The only good thing about this place is the location. Kinda shady but manageable. The rooms were very basic which for the price is expected and wasant a big deal. They never answer the phone and if they do they are extremely rude. Extremely bitter and unhappy employees. Our toilet seat has some red sticky dried liquid on it. Kinda gross.
Very helpful staff; very clean room; comfortable and light-filled lobby sitting area. Hotel phone was not working: calls went thru an intermediary ("The Oasis") though answered professionally; so it was not possible to reach the Front Desk directly; only way was thru email; there are also no room phones, which was not per se a problem for me. Ventilation fan in bathroom was quite noisy.
The location is awesome. Room isn't awful. Super cheap. No blankets (or fitted sheets).. in the middle of winter. Not filthy but not real clean. Shower temperature fluctuated by like 10 degrees at a bare touch.
I tried to find outlets next to the bed to plug in my phone. Couldn't find any. There where two lamps next to the bed. I wondered what they were plugged into. Turned out nothing. The lamps where just there for decoration! Turned out you didn't need the lamps. There was a lamppost directly outside the window that lit up the room. It felt light late evening with all the light a out. I didn't realize this until it was late. I just went sleep. They need to provide curtains in that room.
The room was clean. I was guaranteed a price of $25 and it ended up being $55. It's frustrating when you're on a budget and a website lies to you about the price.
Retro (art deco elements). Older building/room is refreshingly basic and has authenticity. Very close to Freemont street yet quiet block. The bedside lamp cannot be turned on unless the overhead light is on
Recently renovated Longest check in process in my entire life. And I was the only one the agent was checking in! Asked for a quiet room, got put on a floor where people were arguing in the halls and banging doors all night Front desk originally granted me a late checkout but told no one so banging on my door the minute after normal checkout commenced. Clogged sink. Had to use the bathtub to brush my teeth and wash my face.
Loved the proximity to old downtown Vegas!! You could not control the water temperature when showering, it would either be too cold or too hot. Once adjusting the handle would give you the same result.
Closeness to Fremont. The fact that they sent me to an side building and not their main hotel. Which meant I had to park in a public parking lot which lead to my car getting a ticket. Which now I have to fight to get it cleaned off my record. All because of either the incompetence or maybe they did it on purpose of the women at the front desk who gave me the parking pass and putting the wrong date on it. I was tired from the drive and did not check it, so now I have that ticket I have to battle to get cleaned up. So I would NOT recommend this hotel!
