Super friendly staff, amazing property with a spectacular beach and amenities.
Spa was excellent.
The staff was friendly, the grounds were beautiful. Rooms are nice and clean. The beach in this area is really nice, if you go a little more north to the next beach it becomes very shelly.. so this beach is nice at the hotel. Ko Lanta was really fun. Very laid back vibe, still areas of untouched beaches. You must rent a motor bike, it is so fun to drive along the beach and check put each little town along the way. Driving the whole west coast of the island takes only and hr or two. We really enjoyed that part of our time in Ko Lanta. The hotel offers motor bike rentals on site, which make it really convenient. Local traffic is mild so it's a good place to start riding, vs a busy crazy city like Bangkok. We didn't eat much at the hotel but we did eat at two places near the hotel thay we really liked one was called Pinky's the other Sonya The hotel in my opinion, was more of a 4-star rather than a 5 star Resort. Also depending on the room thats booked you may be at the top of the hill which means long walks back and forth between the rooms if you don't want to wait for a buggy. The extra cost of the pond rooms is well worth it for location convenience. We actually had our room moved down, because the walk/ uphill trek was so strenuous. The breakfast is included in the morning and served outside which tends to be really warm even early am. Also be sure to specify your bed preference when you check it, we were on our honeymoon and they initially gave us a room with two twin beds and never asked our preference at check in, another reason why we have to be moved.
We liked to stay at Rawi Warin with our children. Very nice hotel and place was nice and peacefull. Pool area was also very nice. Good choice for the families with the kids.
Beautiful grounds, wonderful staff, amazing breakfast and meals in general Rooms could use a little tlc otherwise wonderful resort
The beach location is lovely, the bungalows well laid out and the restaurant is beautiful. Everything felt a bit like the glory days were over. We felt totally neglected by the staff. There were no activities whatsover and the bungalow felt like it could fall apart any time. Koh Lanta itself also felt a bit run down - maybe due to the aftermath of the tsunami and the low season?
