Great value in a somewhat dated facility. This is a no frills hotel, but very convenient to RDU and the university. The daily breakfast was also as expected: plentiful, but institutional. The building could use some updating, especially the carpet.
A bit dated but overall clean and comfortable. Within walking distance to PNC Arena
Location and common area amenities were nice. The room was nice and seemingly updated relatively recently. The hallways need better lighting or different carpet or something. While not dark, they seem dingy, but not dirty. The bathroom in the room had mildew on the grout and seems like it is need to a quick renovation to have a new shower head, better tower bars, soap dishes and cleaner grout .
The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. The bathroom was not as clean as it could have been. The shower walls in particular had a bit of mold in the grout.
Buffet breakfast and coffee with juice Room coffee pot and coffee
Convenience to carter-finley stadium. Needs to be updated.
Location Bed linen was EXTREMELY soiled
The staff was courteous and professional. I appreciated that they changed my room to one that was non-adjoining when I requested it because I was a female traveling solo. Also, the location was perfect. Close to what I needed, but not in the middle of it. It's an aging hotel, so the floors are a bit squeaky. I felt bad moving around when I woke up early.

Old and dirty in some places. Very outdated.
Location The staff were rude
The size of the room. It was clean, you had a suite, you could cook, microwave, place items in the refrigerator and dishes were available to use. Nice breakfast selections. I also enjoyed the exercise room. I was able to get a workout. It was hidden. It was hard to see this hotel from the road. I had to drive around several times to find it. There should be a sign letting you know where it is, that you can see from the road.
The location and the price. The free breakfast was very good and had a lot of variety. The room smelled strongly of stale cigarette smoke, and the outside door (next to our room) closed very loudly due to the closer not operating correctly. Not a problem except in the middle of the night!
Nice surprise all the way around. Clean and quiet. Nice accommodations. Highly recommend! Everything was fabulous.
The free dinner served Mon, Tues, and Wed. was a positive perk that was unexpected, along with the free breakfast. The batteries in the TV remote were bad in two remotes that were furnished to me to try and chage channels with.
The staff was AMAZING!! They were very helpful and kind. I really enjoyed my stay!
Everything was a plus Nothing
Liked the carpet and desk chair. Breakfast was good. Bed really nice. Clean. The breakfast seating area is to tight and crowded. Water pressure seemed really low at shower head. No ice available anywhere on arrival. Missed maid touchup one day.
Clean hotel, very friendly staff, central location in Raleigh easy to connect to NC State & other places in the City No restaurants close by except McDonald's, ridiculously high minimum purchase for room-service
decent sized clean room; simple but good breakfast; very nice lobby; ample parking; courteous staff. room was too close to elevator - pinging was too loud and interrupted my sleep; railroad behind hotel was loud every time the train passed through; small bathroom.
Room was big.
check in clerk was unusually rude as if he was managing a prison and we were wayward prisoners. we are both respectful executives in our businesses and expect the same respect and courtesy we give others. overall, an excellent deal once you get past the checkin. rooms are clean, well maintained, quiet, beds comfortable, breakfast was good and the courtesy lemon water was a nice refreshing touch after a long day of travel.
The rooms were very clean and up to date breakfast was fresh and tasted good (we ate early, though - not sure what it's like later in the morning) The staff was very friendly It was located right off the freeway in Cary which made accessing all different parts of the Raleigh area very easy This hotel neighbors an active train track
This is an "okay" kind of place. Good for a weary tired traveler on a short stay. hot breakfast was nice. No hot water and the sink shot out air and popping noises. My wife and I had to take cold showers in the morning.
The King size bed was ok and the refrigerator in the room was a decent size. The shower was dingy with mildew on a few things including the shower head, the first room they tried to give us was supposed to be a non smoking room and smelled like someone had just smoked a pack an hour before.
Leaving. The room was messy, the staff was rude, the area was unsafe, it was noisy all night, the water pressure was awful, the shower needs repair, the beds were uncomfortable, the breakfast was microwave waffles, and bread. It was just an awful experianc.
The location and a staff member The back side you can hear alot of noise from people who's outside starting up their cars.
Room location of the entire hotel was updated. No flat screen tvs and had to chase a gigantic cockroach around the room and into the bathroom to kill and flush. Carpet was moist and musky. Constant doors locking and unlocking, people arguing or making out. Echoing through the halls. I felt exhausted after leaving that hotel rather than rested
Bed was awful, pillowcase were urine yellow, the ac/heat button was broken and stuck on 86. Elevator was broken and I got charged extra to get a room on the bottom floor. Was awakened all night with what appeared to be drug deals right outside my room.
