We accidentally left an expensive hair straightener in the room, and called to get it back. There was no trace of it.
Friendly staff and clean room. Older hotel that is under construction, not aestthetically pleasing in particular outside area of premises.
Comodidad Nevera no funcionaba
The hotel was first class all the way, from the magnificent grounds to the first class dining, to the rooms and the staff.
Liked everything! Especially the complimentary shuttle service.
fantastic place and great value-food was superb as was service!
A gorgeous historic hotel with wonderful vistas in a posh quiet nieghborhood! No coffee/tea maker in the room. They brought me hot water however!
We have stayed at the hotel several times. We like the staff, the setting, the comfortable beds, the pool and the exercise facility.
Beautiful location. I wished rooms were little bit bigger, but was still good enough for our family. We had a pleaseant stay.
The location is good. We come to LA for a wedding and stayed in Sheraton Pasadena. We had stairs in our room (between the bathroom and the main room). The bathroom did not have enough counter area for my makups (mine are very basic makeups, minimals for one to use). I had to put the makeups in the room. The trips between room and bathroom had to go the stairs, up and down. This was a terrible experience.
Great location next to civic center and Paseo de Colorado. Walking distance to popular areas of Pasadena. Bed was very comfortable, and I loved that it had a refrigerator and an iron in room so I didn't have to wait for someone to bring one. Room had been updated nicely. Staff was helpful and friendly. Staid, corporate looking hotel, not a charming boutique hotel. Pool area and fitness area were small - felt a bit cramped. There was a huge area next to hotel that was just a vacant plaza. Not sure if it was on hotel property, but if so, should make use of this for nice patio or larger pool area. Exterior and hallways could use a refresh like the room had - that looked worn or dated. Good hotel, but could be much better, given its great location.
Upon arrival had to wait about 30 minutes to check in due to reception staff running the nigh audit. Not a nice experience to wait for half an hour to check in at a hotel at 1:00 am. For some reason, they had us checking out a day earlier than set reservation. This led to our room being re-keyed and not made for when we returned at 10 pm after a day of being out and about. Not a good experience to show up to a hotel room with beds not made and towels on the bathroom floor.
The fruit infused water in the lobby!
We needed a hotel in downtown Pasadena and the Sheraton was centrally located. The rooms had everything that we needed, including a mini refrigerator, iron/ironing board, lots of storage space, Ethernet jack and wireless internet. Also, I liked that parking was inside a garage rather than a surface light. The hotel was extremely clean and the staff was polite and helpful. I wish I could have stayed longer.
Nice beds (although very high) and pillows. Breakfast was good! The breakfast lady was very friendly and quick at refilling the breakfast! The TV cable was out the whole night and next morning but it wasn't their fault, there was a big storm. They had a cable truck there when we came but it was still never fixed. I think they should have gave us a discount but didnt! no receipt because computer was out...again I'm sure because of the storm!
that is was located on Colorado Blvd not far from downtown old Pasadena. too little parking, not very kept up and not well cleaned.
Overall, the feeling was modern, clean, comfortable, and a place where I could do work as well as relax. The place is under renovation. There are still a few things that needed to be done in the room especially in the bathroom. But they were minor details, that will probably be addressed as they complete the renovation. The shower head was too high.
It was a good experience.
Location, breakfast, nice office people. No chair for guests to sit on. Had 2 of our friends visit, but the couch is not enough. Put a small chair in the room.
easy freeway access and access to our specific event it was a little run down - TV didn't work right
The stay The reception did not know what to do. Disturbed my stay.
The room and pool seemed clean enough. We rarely let housekeeping in for short stays, so we can't speak to that. Parking lot is terrible. Very small, horribly laid out and the spaces were tiny. Expect dents. The hotel is way overpriced for what you get. Rooms were clean but dated and ugly. The internet connection was spotty at best. We were also given a double queen when we booked a king.
I liked that they served breakfast that was included I didn't like the fact that, I had to give a $100 deposit up front. That caught me by surprise, which I didn't like. I have gotten best western before and I didn't have those hidden charges. So that left us with $100 less for our weekend and that didn't go well for the kids.
Relación calidad-precio y ubicación.
No hay nada bueno para este lugar
lo centrico de pasadena no
habitación amplia, limpieza general del hotel y baño buena, excelente ubicación cercana a Colorado Boulevard. Poca variedad de elementos para el desayuno.
Its very clean and presentable The parking is too limited
staff, location, large room, clean strong chemical smell in room, advertised as a suite hotel but missing sofa, lobby very small and sparse for sitting
I was in Pasadena for a college visit with my daughter / love the hotel I was impress on how updated and clean the rooms are..... There was no iron or board in the room called the front desk in less than 5 minutes I had the iron and the board in my room.... Tight parking spaces
The bed was surprisingly comfortable. Manager was rude, and tried to overcharge us. Hotel room was filthy. Walking barefoot in the rooms will turn your feet black with dirt. Our door didn't shut all the way unless we pulled it HARD. Hotel stinks in the hallways AND in the rooms. Very limited parking.
- Good price when compared to what else was around. - Not luxury, but nicer than expected. - Fridge and microwave included. - Not a ton of parking, and some of the spaces were pretty tight to fit into. - Some of the beds our group had were a bit too soft or sloped.
Remodeled room with all the amenities. Nice place. Parking lot was full except for one slot, and it was excruciatingly tight.
Nothing Tattered furniture and a very old, saggy mattress. Place could use some attention /maintenance. If this was a budget motel, maybe ok, no, still not ok. It was way overpriced.
The price was relatively good. The bed was fairly comfortable. No counter or shelf for placing anything in the bathroom. No hooks for bathroom towels. The shower curtain did not keep water off of the bathroom floor--water went right through it. The bathroom didn't look completely clean. This made me suspicious of the cleanliness of the rug--the rug was dark making cleanliness impossible to discern. There was no place to eat the meager complimentary breakfast. The parking spaces are narrow and difficult to get into and there is a shortage of spaces. The room is hot, and the air conditioner works but is very noisy, making sleep difficult.
None Staff was smoking weed, could stay there with my toddler! It was horrible shame! I want my money back!
It was clean and quiet, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Thought it was a bit over-priced since it is a bit out from old town and some of the hotels near old town were priced a bit less. Lost satellite signal so could not watch anything on tv
Room smell very bad
Staff seems to be less willing to help when booking through a third party vendor. No hot water in the room. Overall attitude of staff a bit unfriendly.
Location and elevator and room was a suite. Breakfast left a lot to be desired on the weekend. I decided to go out for coffee. No waffle mix, but had a waffle maker.
My elderly father was locked out of his room and needed his medications which were inside. I found out later that the staff had mocked him and laughed about his plight - while demanding $40 to be let back into his room. Our family was shocked and saddened by this treatment of our father. We will never stay at this hotel and we will be actively urging others to avoid this terrible place.
It had a bed. And a door. And a shower. Front desk people didn't speak English very well and the Wi-Fi was terrible.
Manager lacks customer service skills. He is rude and condescending. Whatever happened with "the customer is always right"? Breakfast had very limited options.
The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable..the breakfast was a little sparse and the juice was room temperature. Would of loved a fruit tray and ice cold juice, especially for the price of the rooms. I was really pissed I had to pay a $30 early check in fee for a room that was already available. I can see them doing that if none of the rooms were not clean and they had to call someone to clean. I had been driving for three hours on no sleep from the night before. I asked the staff to tell me what the fee was for. I was told " I dont know but its been that way for 5years"! Check in time was 2pm!!!!!!! ARE U SERIOUS!!!! If I make a reservation I want my flipping room now no matter what time I arrive. I felt the man at the desk was rude by passing me off to someone else when I started questioning him about the fee and the check in / check out times. I don't stay in hotels so I don't understand how it works. In by 2pm out by 11am, that not a full 24hours!!!..other than that my trip was a pleasant one.
Typical no-frills motel. Bed was comfortable and room was reasonable. Refrigerator didn't work and wifi is so bad as to be unusable.
Rooms are very clean and surprisingly nice. The outside of the hotel is not impressive but the rooms are great. The hotel did not have a double room reserved for us, even though we specifically stated that when booking. We were forced to stay in a smoking room, as it was the only double left, and hotel staff blamed us for the mistake, even though we had the paperwork proving we signed up for a double room. The rates were ridiculously expensive - not worth the price.
It was quiet and I felt I could just be myself and not feel hassled in nay way Parking was a little tight
This was a great inn. Very clean and the room was fantastic! I lived in the area for 8 years and when my friends caame in they all said the same thing: "Wow, this is nice, I never would have guessed!" Nothing, everything about it was more than I expected for the money I paid.
Shower had instant hot water and there is Free Parking. Breakfast is available but it's pretty low-key: cereal, some juice, milk, or coffee. The location is the best part, this place was close to everything we needed - which was a visit to a couple local animation studios and a conference at the nearby Burbank Marriott by the airport. It definitely has that old motel feeling, it's not bad but it's not great - we paid $104 excluding taxes and it definitely felt more like a $65-75 sort of place - but that could have been because it was a popular weekend and the rates were hiked. The towels are a little over bleached and the pillows were a little too over stuffed for my taste - but the bed was comfy.
Quiet, private room, great new interior. Big comfy bed. Fridge was abit noisy, and breakfast a little dull, but not big things to worry about.
Free juice/coffee and generic continental breakfast the sheets and pillows smelled like they sprayed a cleaning spray on them and left them wet. mildew-ish
Room was great, no problems. Bed very comfortable. Everything I needed was there. Good wireless. Nearby restaurants were great. Wireless went down occationally. Front desk staff inconsistant. Outside a bit depressing.
The rooms were very comfortable and the modern, updated look was fabulous. Looking at the hotel's exterior it is not obvious how updated the rooms are. Loved the spacious two queen beds. Nice choice of bed covers.
It was very cozy Staff was very helpful
Even in absence of the reservation, the staff was very helpful and frindly.
nothing Room was dirty, location was terrible, staff was rude except for the young lady in the morning she was okay.
location see above comments
Close to BUR, transport starts at 5:30 AM--but I was bumped to 5:45 despite confirmation, apparently because another traveler had a 5:30 slot. The transportation service is contracted out. The van was there at 5:40. Light traffic for the few miles. Courtesy was everywhere. . Middle of nowhere. Only meal source is a Jack in the Box across a major intersection. Staff told me "restaurants" etc about a mile away at a mall. I walked (car or Uber necessary) about 2/3rd miles and found a local but very good Mexican 50s-60s decor overhead fluorescent bar restaurant specializing in seafood. The selection was great (half dozen fresh oysters on the half shell $16/dozen), hot/cold seafood soups + just fine homemade fare. "Costa Azul."
Had to swap rooms 3 times. The rooms were smelly and the non smoking rooms smelled of smoke. It was very noisy
We liked pretty much everything. There's a pool, fitness center, & gift shop. There's also a fully functioning restaurant (The Daily Grill) that is open early & closes late. Great place to have people in the area meet us for food or drinks. Very comfortable rooms with everything you need included. It was nice to have a parking lot in the hotel, but if you opted not to go with Valet, it was a little bit of a walk to get to the lobby with suitcases & such. Adding to that, the parking lot is shared with airport travelers, so there were times at night where we were concerned we wouldn't find any spaces, even though we were hotel guests. But, it still worked out, there were a couple of hidden spots. My biggest complaint is that the air-conditioning unit in our room was very loud & would wake us up throughout the night whenever it clicked on. On a minor note, the business area in the room with the extra outlets had blown a fuse & no power was coming out of it. We let the front desk know. Over-all, these are small complaints (other than the AC).
Staff was very friendly and helpful. No breakfast for guests unless you pay at the restaurant or order room service.
Great staff Double queen beds seemed a little small and mattresses were not very comfortable.
I loved the bed but that's about it. When I first checked in I was carrying my baby and luggage and had my son follow. Got all the way to my room and my key didn't work so i had to drag it all back down and carry it all back up a second time. The shower clogged up. The tv was in & out and some channels didn't have any volume?! No fridge, no microwave, no table for us to eat on.... (There was a desk my son ate on but me & my husband had to eat standing up or on the bed) Parking is $21 a night for guest. You have to pay for wifi & breakfast.
Great value for the price. Only thing that I can point out was check in. We had to wait for a room to get cleaned even though we were checking in 2 hrs past regular check in. Also no hot tub. :( staff was top notch. I have never had towels delivered so fast. I swear they were to us before I hung up, haha
The Hotel was clean and staff was super friendly but the parking wasn't free, $21 dollare a day. Yikes! No free parking.
The pool area at night was beautiful The only thing I would mention is that the additional parking fee was not clear when I booked, I ve found out of this at the hotel
I did like that the front desk accommodated us despite the miscommunication about check in. They gave us free overnight parking as well. I did not like that guest parking was so expensive. Even just for a few hours would be pricey just for a quick visit.
Room was very clean and staff was very polite.
Nice staff upon check in. Good location and a decent place to stay compared to prices of other hotels in the area. Coffee was good. Ample parking. Quiet. The bedspread was smelly. The continental breakfast was terrible.
Even thought the point of an extended stay is to have a place with a kitchen and a way to cook the room had no pots, pans, or dishes starting out and I had to request them. It then took the staff hours to get me the things that I had requested. It was always noisy and difficult to get sleep. I would never recommend staying here.
