Desventajas: We chose a budget room as we we were enroute. Bathroom was pretty badly in need.of renovation but the shower was hot and enough hot water for two long showers, one after the other. The breakfast buffet was flavorless but after weeks of Asian breakfast buffets one can get a bit too fussy.

Ventajas: Habitaciones con sabanas impecables y suelos de parquet que le dan un toque acogedor. La ubicación relativamente buena, teniendo en cuenta que al ser una gran ciudad te va a quedar lejos de algo, si o si. El staff verdaderamente amable y servicial, siempre con una sonrisa en la boca. El hotel en si, tiene cierto encanto. Desayuno normalito.
Desventajas: Se podria mejorar la limpieza sobretodo en los baños... La puerta de la habitación estaba rota y no se podía abrir, avisamos y en tres noches no la arreglaron. Había que llamar a recepción cada vez que quería entrar para que subieran ellos a abrir.

Ventajas: The rooms are clean. The view from the balcony on the 4th floor is really nice. Polite staff. The breakfast is OK but there are no fresh vegetables.
Desventajas: The bed makes awful sounds and the mattress is too hard. If you have back problems, they’ll get worse. The shower is pretty inconvenient.

Ventajas: The hotel is not only comfortable but also clean. Although it is not located near attractions, the transportation is always available to visitors. The breakfast offered variety selection. It’s worth your stay.

Ventajas: Un hotel profesional, habitación amplia limpia y cómoda. El personal perfecto. Buena ubicación siempre que no quieras ir al Sangam, entonces pilla un poco lejos.
Desventajas: Tremendamente ruidoso. Al estar pegado a la estación se oye la megafonía, que no para, y los trenes. Eso por no mencionar la gente que habla a gritos en los pasillos. Pastilla y tapones de oídos para poder dormir.

Ventajas: Classic Burma hotel located in town near palace and other sites. Nice room but bathroom was strange in that there was an open shower and so when taking a shower, the whole bathroom gets doused. Restaurant and breakfast was very good. Very helpful staff. Classic décor. Free puppet show and classic Burma musician in the restaurant. FYI: All beds in Myanmar and Thailand are fairly hard beds.
Desventajas: Shower bathroom was unusual. Sent clothes to be laundered and the bill was high, $25 USD.

Ventajas: Un bonito edificio en una esquina de Mandalay, cerca del paseo junto al río, donde nos recibieron con el mejor servicio. Todo el personal fue amable y atento en todo momento, especialmente los chicos del Rooftop que nos hicieron riquísimos cócteles mientras sonaba música tradicional con un espectáculo de marionetas. El diseño colonial y romántico de todo el hotel hace que el sitio sea más acogedor.
Desventajas: Las habitaciones son pequeñas, pero tienen todo lo necesario para tu estancia, con agua embotellada, minibar, fruta fresca y todos los amenities necesarios. Sin duda, un lugar recomendable donde alojarse.

Ventajas: So much effort has gone into the design of this city centre hotel - it was a jewel of a place - the staff really go the extra mile and the restaurant is one that you really want to eat it. Add to that free traditional entertainment and free cocktails during happy hour - what is not to love?!

Ventajas: El hotel esta nuevo y las habitaciones son estupendas, muy espaciosa y la cama comodísima (nuestra habitación era la superior). La última noche cenamos en el restaurante y todo estaba riquísimo y con un precio muy bueno. Ademas, nos organizaron el tour por Sagaing, Inwa y Amapura totalmente imprescindible!
Desventajas: Lo único que creo que no era tan bueno es la ubicación, no obstante depende de las opciones de viaje, ya que si se va en tren esta perfecto porque esta justo en la estacion.

Ventajas: We had a room on the 7th floor which had a panoramic view of the city. It was also spacious and comfortable, and very clean. We only stayed for one night as we moved here because, due to poor planning, the other hotels we stayed in were full. Out of the 3 hotels we stayed in on our outward and return trip to Mandalay, this was the best value.
Desventajas: The shower head attachment in the bath was a bit low so the jet sprayed horizontally rather than vertically which was more of a comedy than an inconvenience but, hey, they had a bath, which some might see as a huge plus.

Ventajas: Se trata de un hotel con aire colonial, por el mobiliario y por la moqueta. Nuestra habitación era muy amplia y estaba en el 5° piso (hay ascensor). Estaba bien equipada con nevera y caja fuerte y teníamos una buena vista a la ciudad, además la ventana tenía mosquitera. El personal muy agradable y eficiente, contratamos con ellos excursiones y billetes de bus. El desayuno muy variado. Buena localización céntrica y, lo mejor, a 50 metros del hotel está The Window, un local moderno con deliciosa comida elaborada con productos orgánicos de la zona

Ventajas: Nos sentimos muy consentidos. El hotel nos ayudó con un tour a varias ciudades, nos prestaron unas bicicletas para conocer Mandalay y sombrilla para la lluvia. I felt there like a king in the American movie :) Breakfast was like in great European hotel and you can choose from plenty types of food. At the end of the day on the rooftop of the hotel there is a bar with great view plus sunset and there is happy hour with one drink for free. Possible renting of bicycle for free. Ventajas: The staffs are so friendly, they made me feel very welcome. The view from the Sky Bar overlooks the river & beautiful sunset. They served free cocktail every evening so you can watch the sunset while sipping on cocktail. WiFi is super fast & it is walking distance to the jetty for our boat ride to Mingun.
Desventajas: The pictures on the website are different than actual. The Sky Bar although is perfect to watch the sunset but there were so many mosquitoes that my whole legs got bitten up. The bathroom looks old and side of the bathtub are rusty, would have prefer a separate shower area instead of climbing in and out.

Desventajas: La rigidez del personal en sus políticas. Al llegar te ofrecen un masaje gratuito de bienvenida de 15 minutos a cada huésped. Yo no me lo iba a dar y quería que ampliasen el tiempo a mi mujer, pero no pudo ser porque el masaje es intransferible al parecer. Entre sus servicios ofrecían lavandería gratuita y eso cambió durante nuestro viaje y no nos comunicaron nada a nuestra llegada aunque insistimos en ello.

Ventajas: The hotel was very good! They have a nice breakfast buffet and good food with huge à la carte menu, also with european dishes. The staff was very friendly and service oriented and the facilities 100% clean and spacious. The room had AC and enough space to place luggage and stuff.
Desventajas: The only minus point during our stay was the loud noise that comes from a big construction site right next to the hotel. For us it wasn't such a big issue as we anyhow spent most of the day on tour, but if you think about spending a relaxation holiday in Mandalay, this hotel is probably not the perfect stay - at least as long as the construction goes.

Ventajas: Lo que más nos convenció fueron la ubicación y el precio. La habitación era ámplia, con tenchos muy altos... tenía su toque. Mandalay es un destino grande donde hay mucho que ver, salíamos muy pronto y regresabamos muy tarde por lo que este aquí obtubimos lo que estbábamos buscando para este destino. Un lugar correcto y bien ubicado en el que descansar y a buen precio.
Desventajas: El baño muy mejorable. Cumplía los mínimos pero viejete y feo. En cuanto al hotel y las habitaciones, quien busque algo moderno o minimalista seguramente se verá decepcionado. Al entrar en las habitación notas ese olor... no de que no hayan limipiado (que sí) sino de viejo.

Ventajas: Un hotel profesional, habitación amplia limpia y cómoda. El personal perfecto. Buena ubicación siempre que no quieras ir al Sangam, entonces pilla un poco lejos.
Desventajas: Tremendamente ruidoso. Al estar pegado a la estación se oye la megafonía, que no para, y los trenes. Eso por no mencionar la gente que habla a gritos en los pasillos. Pastilla y tapones de oídos para poder dormir.

Ventajas: This is a reasonable (currently) low rise hotel, well designed, clean with acceptable food and staff. However they are building a very large high rise extension to the hotel which may well put off anyone who is looking for a smaller more compact place to stay.The building work means that it is currently very noisy during the day.

Ventajas: A little taste of heaven: the room are very clean and comfortable, the decoration of the rooms and of the whole hotel in wood is wonderful. The facilities of the hotel are great: swimming pool, spa, gym. And finally the food of the restaurant is very good, and the breakfast is excellent

Ventajas: Buen hotel en Mandalay teniendo en cuenta la oferta hotelera que hay en la ciudad. Las instalaciones son buenas y las habitaciones amplias y cómodas.
Desventajas: La rigidez del personal en sus políticas. Al llegar te ofrecen un masaje gratuito de bienvenida de 15 minutos a cada huésped. Yo no me lo iba a dar y quería que ampliasen el tiempo a mi mujer, pero no pudo ser porque el masaje es intransferible al parecer. Entre sus servicios ofrecían lavandería gratuita y eso cambió durante nuestro viaje y no nos comunicaron nada a nuestra llegada aunque insistimos en ello.

Ventajas: The interior of the hotel is authentic and chic. Everything was super clean. The staff was adorable and super friendly. Breakfast buffet was super. The Pool is also super nice.

Ventajas: The hotel was very good! They have a nice breakfast buffet and good food with huge à la carte menu, also with european dishes. The staff was very friendly and service oriented and the facilities 100% clean and spacious. The room had AC and enough space to place luggage and stuff.
Desventajas: The only minus point during our stay was the loud noise that comes from a big construction site right next to the hotel. For us it wasn't such a big issue as we anyhow spent most of the day on tour, but if you think about spending a relaxation holiday in Mandalay, this hotel is probably not the perfect stay - at least as long as the construction goes.

Ventajas: Las instalaciones están muy bien y el personal es muy amable. Nos ayudaron incluso prestandonos una habitación para bañarnos luego del check out para poder irnos luego a viajar ya bañados. Recomiendo mucho a Venus de la recepción del hotel, excelente persona!
Desventajas: La zona del frente del hotel no es muy bonita y no parece muy segura pero es toda la parte del río por lo que no hay mucho que pueda hacer el hotel. La ubicación está un poco alejada del centro de la ciudad.

Ventajas: Sin duda alguna, la azotea. Tiene unas vistas maravillosas de la ciudad y del río.
Desventajas: No tiene en los alrededores bares o restaurantes para dar una vuelta. Aunque los taxis los llaman directamente desde recepción, tardan 3 minutos en llegar y son muy baratos.

Ventajas: It’s a 4 star hotel for a 2 star price. What more can you want? Rooftop view is amazing, pool is refreshing, kitchen is good, rooms are spacious, spotless and comfortable. The m2 actually is correct. Free bikes. Great staff.

Ventajas: The hotel was amazing!!! Stuff perfect they have always smile on their faces and they helped us with everything! I felt there like a king in the American movie :) Breakfast was like in great European hotel and you can choose from plenty types of food. At the end of the day on the rooftop of the hotel there is a bar with great view plus sunset and there is happy hour with one drink for free. Possible renting of bicycle for free. I have to recommend this hotel to everyone! I have to give 10 points from 10!!! Thanks a lot for everything - Djezuba!

Ventajas: Staff members were all AMAZING! Our room was upgraded and we got a really big room with lots of windows and light. Beds were super comfortable, Nice rooftop, breakfast was great!
Desventajas: The area outside the hotel wasn't nice; very dirty and poor. No restaurants or motorbike rentals around. Also, we didn't like that the prices were very expensive in the hotel restaurant, compared to anything else in our travels around Myanmar.

Ventajas: The staffs are so friendly, they made me feel very welcome. The view from the Sky Bar overlooks the river & beautiful sunset. They served free cocktail every evening so you can watch the sunset while sipping on cocktail. WiFi is super fast & it is walking distance to the jetty for our boat ride to Mingun.
Desventajas: The pictures on the website are different than actual. The Sky Bar although is perfect to watch the sunset but there were so many mosquitoes that my whole legs got bitten up. The bathroom looks old and side of the bathtub are rusty, would have prefer a separate shower area instead of climbing in and out.

Ventajas: El hotel esta nuevo y las habitaciones son estupendas, muy espaciosa y la cama comodísima (nuestra habitación era la superior). La última noche cenamos en el restaurante y todo estaba riquísimo y con un precio muy bueno. Ademas, nos organizaron el tour por Sagaing, Inwa y Amapura totalmente imprescindible!
Desventajas: Lo único que creo que no era tan bueno es la ubicación, no obstante depende de las opciones de viaje, ya que si se va en tren esta perfecto porque esta justo en la estacion.

Ventajas: Very helpful staff, always giving you tips and trying to make a pleasant stay. Location and breakfast were ok, with good views from the restaurant . The room was comfortable with a very nice bathroom. I would definitely stay again.
Desventajas: Everything was ok, nothing special but more than enough for the price. The keykcard didn't work very well in the elevator but not really important.
