We spent two nights at this resort in June 2010. Attentive service. Well appointed room. Beautiful lanscaped gardens around the two pools. Wide range of dishes at the breakfast buffet. The location is excellent - right on the fine sand beach, easy walking to restaurants and shops on a sidewalk along the beach. Less traffic of cars and motorcycles than other beach areas. Free internet is available in the lobby but not guest rooms. For a rest this hotel and the surrounding beach areas would be an excellent place. Other beach areas in southern Bali are congested with cars and motor cycles producing an unpleasant experience!!
Location is superb, just in front of Kuta beach The water smells awful! The manager told us it was because the contractor didn't install the right pipes for the plumbing!! The staff forgot to replenish the soap for our barhroom!!
Right on the beach. Beautiful view from the rooftop. Comfortable beds. Staff was helpful, and friendly. Very noisy. Can hear your neighbors, and the streets below. Woke up to someone knocking on our door at 3 AM. Anyone has access to the rooftop so it was crowded with people not staying at the hotel.
The location was good. There was a Starbucks downstairs. The pool was nice. First the staff couldn't find my reservation and made me wait and hour in the lobby. then the wifi didn't work the whole trip. The walls were paper thin. The room showed significant wear and tear. The drinks were expensive and watered down. If I could do it again i'd pay a few extra bucks to go somewhere nicer. This hotel is just for australian children looking to party.
The hotel was clean and comfortable for the most part. The room had the AC going and was nice and cool when we first stepped in. Security for the hotel were friendly and nice. We were only given one keycard so if one of us wanted to leave it was near impossible for the second one to stay. The towel rack in the bathroom broke down the first 30 minutes of getting into the room. When I called the front desk to confirm I wasn't going to be charged for the damage that had nothing to do with me, they refused to admit it wasn't my doing and simply stated they would send someone do to check it out. It took 2 days and me calling and going to the front desk 3 desperate times to finally get someone to come down to take a look at eh damage. WHAT A WASTE OF MY TIME. Basically, the front desk was completely unhelpful. Also located in a really touristy area. You can't step two seconds outside without having some chase after you to buy their Products/ use their cab service. So annoying.
Location is good near everything everything is convenience I love the location Was a very noisy people keep open the door and closing the door and someone keep knocking my door at 4 o'clock in the morning I don't know what is going on with the guy when I went to the door the guy just apologized to me
My husband and I enjoyed every aspect of this beautiful hotel.The ambience, the friendliness of all the staff and the attention to detail was appreciated. The location is great too, close to shops and good restaurants.

Wonderfully attentive staff, who were genuinely friendly without being intrusive, large spacious suites, beautiful grounds, not over-developed, and amazing breakfasts. None whatsoever
The atmosphere of the hotel was luxury and relaxing. Some of parts in the room were bit old,it should be refurbished.
Staff were unfailingly polite and knowledgeable. Hotel was maintainted and cleaned to a high standard. The spa and gym were first class. The dining menu has to be improved. No bar in the hotel (they only have the beach bar).
The Legian is simply a dream. All is fantastic, the location, the rooms, the service, the food. It is a top top top experience.
Overall good experience, staff is attentive, food in hotel is pretty good Interior is getting a bit dated and quite dark. They need more mosquito repellant incense in the area!
The staff were outstanding: in 35 years of travel I have never come across such helpfulness , politeness in the face of problems - we were there during the volcanic ash crisis of April 2010 and needed to communicate with family, insurance company, airline and friends and the staff were just brilliant. When my credit card failed to validate on arrival I was of course beside myself with worry but they were not at all bothered - it was probably the atmospherics, they said, and would soon be OK when the weather got back in balance. Internationa lHerald Tribune each morning; clean sheets and duvet cover and pillow cases each day. When we departed for the airport little did we know that on our arrival there there was a member of the hotel staff Nothing
I loved the rooms in particular, large and comfortable. The services were excellent, smiling people and ready to attend to any needs. We travel and stay in hotels often. I would rate The Legian the best hotel we ever saw.
Kuta Paradiso Hotel is a lovley hotel, great entrance, great pool and great service but the rooms could of been beter although very clean.
lack of warmness from staffs, more cordination between restorant and reception is required, found mosquitoes in bathroom.

Hotel staff are helpful and friendly. They fulfill your request within a few minutes. Security is good and it's quite safe to stay in Bali. Hotel should not be 5 star hotel. It's too old and facilities are not good
I have to say that generally deluxe rooms are ok. Problems: you cut extra money from me and I do not know why and for what because the price was already published on website and it is not fair. On my arrival I could not get the room that I have booked. I had to prove my rights for the room and it is really strange for 5 star hotel. Hotel is located right at the ocean and when I go there I have to walk around corners – no straight way. It is not a complain I have to say that generally deluxe rooms are ok. comodo, limpio y tranquilo. El desayuno excelente. No esta pegado a la playa.
No tienen wi fi gratuito, si quieres internet lo tienes que pagar.No esta cerca de la playa, si quieres ir te llevan unos autobuses del hotel que van cada hora y para llegar hasta la playa te dan una vuelta muy pesada.
Rooftop was nice, it is just next to the beach, central. The toilet has a smell in the room i think because of the pipes, we always stayed close the toilet door, a part of the hotel is still is underconstruction, so it is usual to find yourself in a weird place. stuff smiles always, but for a high standart hotel it is not fair that they try to charge customers as soon as possible as they arrive to the hotel, it should be at the end of the stay, i had a problem with the agency, and the stuff tried to charge me 3times to ensure their payment, the high quality hotels dont care about money, they care about customers. But the stuff just wanted payment as soon as possible in this hotel.
The room that was booked had no view to the outside, it had a view looking into the center of the hotel. Very depressing. Not a place I would ever stay again
The location from the Hotel is absolutely super. Very nice big garden, very nice large pool, direct closed to the beach and in the middle of the centre from Kuta. The beach in front the hotel is wonderful and not to busy but not to quite and clean. For this area I can give really 4 or 5 stars. Very dirty rooms, dark, small, very old furniture, very loud, No security in the night, also often nobody behind the reception. Low breakfast for European peoples. From 6:30 to 10.ooh . 5 minutes past 10.ooh you can not get anything any more. Nobody ask you, you are finish with breakfast or you want one coffee more. Never I have got so bad service in a 4 star hotel.
Ubicación, camas limpias y cómodas, muy buen desayuno. Playa, comida, compras y entretenimiento a unos pasos Demasiada gente para mi gusto y un poco de ruido con toda la música.
Instalacion del hotel impresinantes con piscinas enormes una de ellas con arena de playa que parece que estas en la misma playa, bar dentro de la piscina, posibilidad de alquilar una cabaña estilo balines dentro de la piscina, buen desayuno buffet, diferentes bares (algo caros) dentro del resort, muy recomendabla para descansar o familias con niños precios de los bares algo caros, una cerveza 5 euros.La situacion del hotel esta bien frente a la zona mejor de la playa de kuta (mejor ambiente, para aprender hacer surf, cevezas baratas, compras, etc. pero Kuta es una locura de ruido, trafico, etc.
