Ventajas: The best part is the “equipe” - extremely welcoming, personable and nice people. Comfortable stay, tasteful decoration and beautiful grounds. Easy walk to “centro histórico” and beach, yet on a quiet part of town. Delicious breakfast and complimentary ride to the Quadrado area in the evenings.

Ventajas: The pousada is beautiful and well maintained. The staff including the owners are amazing, friendly and willing to help. The atmosphere is friendly (family style), peaceful, and charming. The Quadrado is less than 10 minutes walk, and the beach is about 20 away. The rooms are charming, very clean, and very quite. They can also arrange a taxi ride to and from the Airport. I would highly recommend this place.

Desventajas: Nothing i can think of

Ventajas: I liked everything, especially the receptivity of the owner, left us well at ease. Great location and friendly staff! Keeps the cleanliness of the spaces strictly up to date, and very discreet. Super recommend it :)

Ventajas: The hotel staff was extremely friendly, gave us lots of tips for places to visit, wifi was great, very clean, strong air conditioner, great breakfast, beautiful swimming pool. Great overall.

Ventajas: Increíble y destacable la entrega y dedicación del personal. En especial de los dueños (Sofia) por estar atentos a los detalles y estadía de sus clientes. Se aprenden los nombres de los pasajeros y se dirigen con un trato personalizado. Te están preguntando si necesitas algo o tienes alguna recomendación de manera sistemática. El desayuno cumple bien, pero lo mejor es el café de la tarde, que calza perfecto para la llegada post playa. El jardín muy lindo. Los espacios comunes, están llenos de lugares que permiten a los huéspedes ubicarse sin que se topen. Ideal el servicio de trasporte que ofrecen para llevar y traerte del centro, aun cuando tampoco es tan lejos como para ir y volver caminando.

Desventajas: Nosotros tomamos dos piezas, La puerta de nuestro baño no corría bien y metía ruido cuando entrábamos y salíamos de el. Para el desayuno podrían ofrecer permanentemente jugo de naranja. Nos tocó un solo día, el resto de otras frutas que nadie se tomaba.

Ventajas: La posada es bellísima, tanto sus instalaciones comunes (comedor, bar, pileta, sala de descanso con sillones), como las habitaciones y el parque lleno de flores y palmeras!!! Limpieza impecable todos los días. Muy buen desayuno a la mañana y un café también a la tarde cuando regresas de la playa o de pasear (mi hijo esperaba el bizcocho de cada día!!!). Respecto de la ubicación también un punto a favor, si bien había alquilado automóvil nos manejamos caminando con mi hijo (9 años) para ir al Quadrado (aprox 350m) y recorrer el pueblo, ni siquiera utilizamos el servicio que teníamos disponible de traslados cada media hora (si mal no recuerdo, porque sinceramente no lo utilizamos). Muy atentas Sophie y Rafaela para cualquier inquietud y necesidad. Qué más decir: mucho mejor que en las fotos!!!!

Ventajas: La atención de todo el star, el desayuno, y la dedicación para que me sienta totalmente a gusto

Ventajas: Un lugar muy tranquilo, bien ubicado, cerca de Praia coqueiros y del Quadrado. La atención excelente, todos súper atentos y simpáticos.

Ventajas: The best thing about Pousada Jardim was the staff!! They were so friendly and welcoming. They upgraded our room because my sister and I go on vacation once a year to celebrate each other. They were quick to give great suggestions on what to do and where to eat. They really wanted us to have a great time and even offered to connect us with other travelers in the hotel.

Desventajas: Everything was wonderful. The rooms were clean and we had a balcony overlooking the property that had two hammocks. The only thing we didn't love were the pillows. Literally everything else was great.

Ventajas: As soon as you pass through the entrance gate you feel you are entering in a little oasis with a calm, peaceful central garden area surrounded by the various apartments. The staff were highly attentive, well organised and the breakfast was extensive. We booked a master suite which I would highly recommend as it contained a large bed, spacious room and ours included a huge balcony terrace with comfy additional seating. We wished we had stayed longer.

Desventajas: Sadly the wifi signal didn't stretch to our room.

Ventajas: Desde el principio, livia, la dueña te hace sentir como si la posada fuera de uno mismo. Muy comunicativa, servicial y la posada es espectacular. Su diseño y decoracion, el jardin y la pileta. El desayuno y el lugar para desayunar en un entorno natural al lado de la piscina. Precio y calidad.

Desventajas: No hubo cosas para marcar que no nos gustó.

Desventajas: The room needs renovation. The bathroom smells bad, the sitting room is open air! A bat was flying into the room! Very very expensive for its quality!

Ventajas: Small lodge with a friendly staff, not far away from the village center (“Quadrado”) with a few independent cottages, a small pool and a nice local breakfast, all surrounded by an exuberant tropical garden.

Desventajas: My cottage was comfortable but with a few flaws that deserved be solved: the toilet flush needed a fix, the double bed frame was kind of unstable, the TV set had a wide range of channels, but was too small and the image constantly freezes. One of the blackout curtain wouldn’t stay in place, bringing the morning sun right into the guest eyes and. last but not least the Wifi signal ad internet speed also deserved to be improved.

Ventajas: Big Bambu was just the recovery I needed after Carnaval. Heavenly. Lydia and Linda were exceptionally hospitable, helping me manage my booking, find taxis, and plan my itinerary for Bahia. They were indispensable. Highly recommend.

Ventajas: Very nice surroundings and beautiful garden. Family atmosphere. Livia, the owner, is marvelous and very helpful.

Ventajas: Pousada Big Bambu is a little paradise, a wonderful tropical garden. We spent ten days in our little cottage and enjoyed every moment. After a long day on the beach or on the Quadro, it is a great place to relax and lean back. We woke up in the morning only by the song of the beautiful birds. Breakfast offers a variety of bread, cheese, cold cuts, eggs, cakes and tropical fruits and drinks. Livia, the owner, is a wonderful and extremely helpful person, her staff very friendly. These people do everything to make your stay enjoyable. We were spoiled from the first to the last day. We strongly recommend this place and are looking forward to coming back soon.

Ventajas: La habitacion que nos toco esta dentro de una cabaña preciosa, el entorno del parque con la pileta y el lugar donde se desayuna, es sencillamente encantadora!!!!

Desventajas: Quizas un poco distante a la playa, pero tambien tiene su encanto ir caminando por esas callecitas

Ventajas: El lugar divino, super agreste, sobre la playa, el personal super servicial. Las habitaciones estan bien, los baños chicos. Esta lejos del centro...en auto unos 10 minutos, un taxi al centro 30 reales. Se puede cenar en el hotel, es rico pero caro.

Desventajas: Los baños muy chicos. El resto genial. Super recomendable, cómodo que esta sobre La playa

Ventajas: Hermoso para alejarse de todo movimiento del centro. El complejo es muy cómodo y el personal del hotel es maravilloso.

Desventajas: Nos tocó una de las pocas habitaciones que tenía otra arriba y los ruidos se escuchaban mucho. Conviene ir en auto.

Ventajas: La playa es lo mejor que tiene el hotel y sus alrededores, Bao el chico que atiende el desayuno es lo mejor del hotel, igual todos serviciales pero muy lentos cuando le pedías algo ,

Desventajas: Los cuartos poca Luz en el baño y olor a humedad, no había actividades para niños el cuarto de juegos deja mucho que desear

Ventajas: La cercanía con la playa está propio en la playa, tranquila! Es muy cómodo!

Desventajas: Se ve mucho mejor en las fotos , faltaría un poco de mantenimiento y hay mucho olor a humedad en las habitaciones

Desventajas: Habitacion pequeña, ducha sin sitio para el jabon, baño no estaba bien limpio. Las paredes son finas, asi que se puede escuchar TODO que se habla en la habitacion al lado. El precio es alto, la habitacion demasiado sencilla

Ventajas: Muy buena atención, las personas que trabajan ahí siempre muy bien dispuestas y muy cariñosas con los niños. La comida del restaurante maravillosa (comimos mejor en la posada que en cualquier restaurante del Quadrado) y las caipirinhas espectaculares!!! Mis niños se sintieron como en casa, lugar seguro ideal para familias con niños!

Ventajas: The Pausada is very well located, close to Quadrado and 10 mins walking distance from the beach. The property has nice yard with a lot of palms and nice pool. Breakfast was decent.

Desventajas: The staff was not speaking English. The room was very humid and the remotes for Airco and TV were not working. One of the night lamps was not working as well. In general room was different compared to the pictures. The pool was not looking clean, but maybe this was due to the fact that July is not a strong season and there were not many people. What I found strange was that I wasn't asked for any official document like ID or passport.

Ventajas: We loved staying in poussada Jacaranda. Facilities are great, such a nice bungalow, beautiful garden, great pool area and easy for young kids. Service was excellent too, always discrete and very helpful.breakfast is very nice and complete. We felt very good and we will can only recommend the place!

Ventajas: We spent a couple of days in this cozy and charming bungalow close to quadrado. Jacarandá is problably the best pousada we have been during our Brazilian trip. The staff is very professional and kind, they cooked fejolada for us <3 and also help us to book a bus to Salvador. Luciane is the best host you should find and Chris the best chef ! The cafè de mahna in front the swimming pool was delicious and HUGE!

Ventajas: The commom area: pool, Garden and coffee lounge is super cozy and pleasant! The room is big and confortable and you'll wake up with birds singing. It is pretty special!

Desventajas: One day when I went out in the afternoon and noticed that I was alone in the inn, there was no staff. As I heard reports of assault and robbery in Trancoso, I felt a little insecure. This situation happened only once and, although the staff is extremely friendly, helpful and attentive, it is important that they make sure that this kind of situation do not happen again.

Ventajas: Beautiful pousada which is superb maintained. The staff is super sweet and rooms are very clean. Breakfast was awesome with everything you would like from the area, from fresh made tapioca, juices, bread, cheese, cakes and so on. Be aware to do some fitness as all of it will be repeated in the afternoon :p. Location is nice and close to the city center. At the end of our travel they gave us a cake we liked most to take home, how sweet :).

Ventajas: In all my travels I have never stayed at a more lovely, inviting, comfortable place. I cannot say enough about the staff – Helpful, friendly, everything we could ask for. The pousada was *sparkling* clean, rooms well appointed, beds comfortable. The breakfast spread and afternoon tea were exceptional. They offer popcorn and brigadeiro all day every day along with ice cream and açai and just about anything else you would like to eat. Our teenagers loved the pool and hot tub. Our stay could not have been better! Thank you Joanna!

Desventajas: Hubo un grupo algo ruidoso que se creían dueños del lugar, pero los dueños de la Posada los ubicaron bastante y pidieron disculpas

Ventajas: La atención es excelente, asi como el desayuno y el té de la tarde. La posada es muy linda, muy cuidada y prolija. Está a 400 metros del quadrado, y a 15 minutos caminando a la playa, pero con los traslados eso queda solucionado. Muy recomendable!

Ventajas: La atención es muy buena, tanto en recepción como las mozas son muy simpáticas y siempre dispuestas a poder ayudarte y brindarte toda la información que necesites. El desayuno es riquísimo y la merienda 10 puntos, no le falta nada. El cuarto es de sueños, tuvimos un inconveniente con una canilla y solucionado en 5 minutos, increíble por esa atención. Te llevan y te van a buscar hasta las playas en auto, no lo teníamos pensado. Nos ahorro pila de tiempo. El chófer muy amable!! Nos regalaron una torta para llevar y siempre fueron muy serviciales. Tiene servicio de toallas para la playa y la pisicina. El lugar y la vegetación son hermosos, es maravilloso todas las plantas que tienen y el cuidado que le dan día a día. No contábamos con locomoción y teníamos que ir hasta una plaza para poder tomarnos una vans, nos ofrecieron llevarnos también, hasta el final siempre sumaron y sumaron. La verdad no tengo nada para cambiar, recomiendo y volvería a ir. Un muy buen lugar para descansar.

Ventajas: I had an absolutely exceptional stay. Warm, accommodating staff who raise the bar of service. Well-appointed rooms and landscaped grounds that afford absolute relaxation. Offered at no additional cost and appreciated: delicious breakfast and afternoon "tea" each day, reliable and useful car service to the nearby beaches, and thoughtful recommendations on how to enjoy Trancoso. Only downside was that I could not stay longer. Already looking forward to my next stay. Thanks for making Trancoso feel like home!

Desventajas: Absolutely nothing

Ventajas: Congratulations to the owners & all the staff, what a beautifully run guest house with a manicured landscape, a home away from home! Everything was perfect! Breakfast was varied and delicious, fresh fruit any time during the day and a nice spread in the evening that counted as dinner. We were shuttled to pristine beaches any time we needed. Joanna, the owners’ daughter is a gem, helping us to anything we needed and making sure we felt pampered! In the front desk, Fernanda, Nair & Giselle had always a smile & willingness to help anytime, they were wonderful! The kitchen staff was amazing! Our room was spacious & very comfortable. We loved the fresh flowers & the very comfortable 2 person bathtub. We were able to go to the fitness center only a 3 minute walk away! I can only find words of gratitude for this Pousada’s customer service & friendliness! We spent 10 very wonderful days!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Desventajas: The Pousada is outside the ‘Quadrado’, about a 10 min walk on the narrow sidewalks & the street and further away from the beaches but there’s a free shuttle that can take the guests to 4 different beaches. It’s not a big deal! It’s very manageable & easy to get around. The internet service can be iffy if you want to stream movies to the large screen TV!

Ventajas: We love everything about the hotel. The hotel manager Ian is very customer oriented. He welcomed us with coconut water and with delicious tapiocas. In the meantime, he was explaning what to do in Trancoso. The staff is very positive and smiling all the time. We could’ve communicated better if they would know English, but we did all the communication with Ian who speaks very well. The rooms were very clean, the breakfast was exceptional and different every day. The tea times were our favourite. Great pastries and cakes! We truly enjoyed staying with Pousada Quarto Crescente. They said goodbye to us by giving our favourite cake. We highly recommend this place!

Ventajas: Excelente atención, buen servicio. El parque está muy cuidado y la ubicación es bárbara, se puede ir caminando a las playas y al Cuadrado.

Desventajas: La única crítica que tenemos es que no reponían el shampoo y jabón.

Ventajas: Está muy bien ubicada, y la pileta es muy linda. La habitación era muy espaciosa, así como el balcón. La cama fue super cómoda. Rodeada de naturaleza. Muy tranquila.

Desventajas: El trato del personal nos pareció un poco frío, La cocina solamente estaba abierta durante el día y los huéspedes no pueden utilizarla. Las ventanas de la habitación no tienen mosquiteros.

Ventajas: Me gusto el concepto del lugar dentro de la naturaleza , muy bien decorado y muy acogedor todo , el personal muy amable y un desayuno excelente , lo recomiendo absolutamente

Desventajas: El piso al rededor de la pileta no es apto para niños pequeños ya que es irregular y pueden lastimarse , y las ventanas deberian tener mosquiteros a mi entender

Ventajas: La ambientación de la posada, la piscina. El personal siempre predispuesto.

Desventajas: Demasiada claridad por la mañana. Amanece muy temprano y comienza a ingresar la luz.

Ventajas: Beautiful place with lots of nature. Facilities are good, room with spa bathroom is awesome. Room is huge. Good swimming pool.

Desventajas: The only point is the location, a little far from the beach by walking, around 20 minutes up/down.

Ventajas: From the time I arrived to the time I checked out my experience was great. The staff is super friendly and professional. The place is sparkling clean and all the fixtures and amenities work like they should. The pool area is also cozy and relaxing. Its my place of choice now when in Trancoso. Will be back for sure.

Ventajas: Hemos estado 3 días y hemos estado muy bien, la pousada está muy limpia, tanto las habitaciones como las zonas exteriores. El desayuno es exquisito y la zona de la piscina es maravillosa y muy relajante! El trato del personal excelente!!! Muy recomendable!!!

Desventajas: El personal podría hablar un poco mas de español, pero de todas maneras nos pudimos comunicar sin problemas, por su buena predisposición.

Ventajas: Pousada Jardim de Trancoso is a cozy and clean place to stay. The staff is very friendly. The location is in a quiet area where there are several pousadas. Everything is within walking distance, including the beaches in Trancoso.

Ventajas: Muy bueno. Siempre habían distintas opciones y todo muy fresco.

Desventajas: El agua de las duchas del baño salía muy fría.

Ventajas: La hospitalidad del personal sobre todo de Marcia y Dalmiro que hace que la estadía sea una alegría todos los días

Ventajas: El persona, Leandra y el muchacho de la tarde, Excelentes anfitriones. Muy cerca de El Quadrado y de la parada de combies para Arraial.

Desventajas: La pequeña piscina está a la sombra casi todo el día. Cuarto pequeño. AL hacer el check-out me informaron del 10% extra opcional para el personal ¿Es una posada o un restaurante? Nunca había visto algo así.
