The staff of the Tria is first rate. In my estimation, they're as good as hotel personnel I've encountered at far more expensive places. The bang for the buck is pretty good here in what can be a very pricey town. Oh, and there's a really good breakfast and free parking - big plusses in Cambridge. The location is not so great and it's tough to get to for a novice driving in Greater Boston. They make up for it somewhat by having a shuttle to several key spots around Cambridge (great friendly driver, by the way).
Location The rooms are old, they smell like stale cigarettes, and the gym is poorly equipped. Only one treadmill.
