Ca' Sagredo Hotel

The ambience at the hotel was delightful. The decor was amazing in the public areas which reflected the fact that this was originally a palace. Being on the Grand Canal was enormously convenient. Water taxis were available immediately outside the door as were the beautiful gondolas.

We booked the private boat function for the night of the Redeemer and watched the most amazing firework display. However we should have been collected afterwards at 12.30 am to return to the hotel. We weren't picked up till nearly 3.00am as there were no water taxis available!!! This was clearly unacceptable and we eventually had to travel back in an overcrowded boat!! Not to be repeated !!!

The service was excellent. The hotel is just absolutely stunning. The tranquility. The room service out of this world, so efficient. The view so beautiful especially from the roof terrace. Breakfast delicious.

El personal, siempre dispuesto a hacer indicaciones sobre restaurantes o direcciones que resultaron muy útiles. Atendieron nuestra sugerencia de habitación con vistas. Habíamos reservado una suite y nos la dieron con magníficas vistas al Gran Cana. La suite era muy grande y cómoda.

Sin duda, el desayuno es mejorable.
