Villa Del Lago

There is so much to like, the views from all rooms are breathtaking. Well appointed, everything you need, wonderful place!

Parking is a nightmare, you get told to not park anywhere with numbers on it, you don’t get assigned a spot, it’s just lucky if you can find a place and it’s very tight . The signs as to the care of the kitchen tops etc made it a little unsettling, but not a major...

The View. Great place to stay. When you walk in the villa theirs a beautiful smell and they also warm up the house for you which was soooo great. Felt like being at home. Laundry facilities in the villa are great. Kitchen was awesome. We had the 2 bedroom villa and the view is breath taking. Receptionist was helpful and gave a few pointers for eatery areas in the city centre. The bathrooms were perfect they had under floor heating which was good for those cold mornings. Also have heaters in both rooms. Our bed was made daily which was helpful. We were given a free lolly bag from the remarkables sweets shop on our first morning. Will definitely be our go to place for our next trip down.

The main t.v's internet and smart view was not working. I called reception 2 or 3 times and was told the manager would come. (No one did) The t.v in the ensuites language was set to Chinese so made it difficult for me to use. Maybe these should be checked after guests leave?

Great, quiet location within an easy and pleasant walking distance to the centre of Queenstown. All staff were very friendly. Mel at the front desk was extremely helpful in providing local knowledge on where to eat and great activities for our visit. We had a wonderful time at Villa Del Lago and will stay there again when we return to Queenstown one day.

Fantastic accommodation. Very clean & fully equipped. Fabulous views. Beautiful 30 minute walk into town. Very cozy. Loved staying here. Wi-Fi was good. Staff friendly. Cleaners did a great job each day. Loved having warm towels.

Just a little gripe. Would have been good if we could have streamed Netflix. The app is there on the smart tv but couldn't use it.
