Pompei Resort

The hotels location. Easy to get to off the motorway, ten minute walk into the main town and about 15 minute walk to the entrance to the ruins.

The area around the hotel is a bit unkept

The hotel is about 15 to 20 minutes gentle walk from the sanctuary. And about 30 minutes to one of the Pompei entrances. There is a shuttle bus but we never used it. The staff were helpful and kind. The food was very very good ( we only had the fish, octopus that kind of thing so can’t comment on the meat but suspect it would be the same) the service quick and efficient. The waiter offering honest opinions on which wine would go best with the food. Which happened to be the cheapest on the menu. The room was spacious and comfortable with a little balcony. Breakfast very rich and with a large selection of options. All in all a very nice experience, recommended.

Having to leave it to go home.

We have stayed at this hotel in the past. It is a good value, comfortable rooms, close to the major attractions in the area such as Ercolano, Pompeii, the port of Naples to catch a ferry. It is easy to get to and right off the autostrada exit. Breakfast was excellent and a good way to start the day. The dinners were good and it was nice not to have to find a place to eat. there were not to many options for eating out within walking distance. they did recommend a nice restaurant on the night we opted not to eat at the hotel.

It meet all expectations and I cannot think of anything we did not like.
