Staff was friendly, except for the evening front desk clerk

The Free Breakfast was nice but NOT WORTH THE MONEY/NIGHT. THE JACUZZI was VERY VERY DIRTY and needed to be painted and cleaned. VERY POOR CONDITION!!! This hotel was not worth the money per night at all. We usually like your hotel chain with free breakfast but I Hated this location and hotel!
The manager was very helpful and very professional the check-in person is rude.
Clean and mostly quiet, enjoyed our stay. Towel bars in the bathroom for wet towels would be great - the floor is not a good place for anything.

It was a very nice looking hotel inside & out. Our room was very nice & clean. Convenient location. All staff was pretty helpful & friendly. Were very pleased with our stay & would definitely recommend. Breakfast was very good
Clean, quiet, with a very congenial staff. No
The Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great location for Red Rocks Shows, Coors Brewery and things on the West side of town. Very comfortable bed. Exceeded my expectations.
Soft towels. Nicely decorated room. The outside looks pretty crappy as they remodel, but was pleasantly shocked by the room. The water pressure was strongly on the weak side.
Price and proximity to freeway I got s smoking room and I smelled like cigarettes for days. All my clothes and my chest hurt from just staying there.
Nothing... My t.v did not work and i was put in a different room then booked with rude service.... Everything
not much, the first room we were given smelled like an ashtray, but atleast they gave us another room that smelled better the hotel looks like its about to fall apart. It smells horrible, and the carpet and walls look dirty and worn. The first room we were given smelled like an ashtray, and I was traveling with my child and 9mo old baby. the next room smelled better, but was
The location was great and the hotel had everything I needed-fridge, microwave, iron and ironing board, free breakfast, comfy bed, wi-fi. There was good food places nearby, the room was quiet. Staff were efficient and attentive and the price was good. No real complains.
The location was very good. Easy to get to and centrally located for the many good things to do in Denver. Our room smelled of heavy smoke when we arrived. I opened the window and the screen was half on - half off. The coffee maker in the room was lacking the plastic tray to prepare coffee and the two coffee carafes in the breakfast room were empty.

The price. Location. Building and room in minimal to the standard. The staff and policies were set like everyone was going to rip them off. Cops showed up with lights and did some sort of bust about 3 am. Lights and hollering down the hall woke everyone.
Despite the horrible reviews it seems management has remodeled and this hotel is under rated. Clean big rooms, amazing king bed, great selection for breakfast and very friendly staff. If i had to nit pick, the new pave stones they placed near the back entry way, catch the door during opening and closing. Which causes the patron to make sure the door is closed behind them or anyone without a key could enter the hallway.
The guy at the front desk went over and above his way to accomadate me, from putting me in a room next to the front desk where I felt safe, to a downstairs room, to an early checkin. He was awesome!!!! Nope not a thing.
Recent renovated rooms, was 'CLEAN' , huge king bed was clean despite burn holes in the linens. Shower was HOT if you wanted, which was nice since it was -15 outside. Breakfast includes was not bad The coffee was AWESOME Staff Awesome I took pictures of the Cum soaked couch, I'm not kidding it looked like it was used in a porno shoot over and over again......was riddled with cum stains. ( PICS taken to prove it) Shower head really low ( I'm 6'2)
Location My daughter woke up with bites on her back.....not real happy.
I had a great experience, and would go back any time that I have a chance! The room was large and clean, the location ideal, the cleanliness was on point, and the breakfast was delicious, and truly a $$ saver!
Good location for our needs. Good room, good staff Really liked the shuttle to nearby restaurants, places. Saved on driving around and trying to find parking Driver prompt and courteous You can hear the upstairs room when they walk around. Just poor sound proofing.
Great location, very friendly staff and really cool themed floors and rooms! Elevator flooring needed to be replaced.
Awesome location and friendly staff with included parking. The room was good but a bit substandard for the price. I cared more about the location so I didn't really mind.
We stayed through New Year's Eve, and had a great time! Great service from the staff, loved the themed floor, and happy hour at the attached restaurant was great.
Location Room sign was on the floor, and room was right outside the elevator. Loud and small.
The decor is interesting. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly.
Every floor has a theme and and even the elevators dialog is customized for each floor. It is just really fun. I found my room cozy, comfortable, and efficient. All the staff I interacted with were really nice and helpful. Good Wi-Fi. Just steps away from good places to eat and walk to. And if you want to venture out and explore the city, there is a bike rental around the corner! And while I don't have dog, they do welcome them and had food and water for them in the lobby, which I thought was really cute. Last, I got a great deal for this hotel on Kayak (35% off), which made it more reasonably priced than normal. I don't know if I would have paid full price, but I really enjoyed my stay.
Great location. Two blocks from 16th St mall and next to performing arts. On street parking was good and free overnight. Better option than valet in my opinion. Loud on a Sunday night and security nearly banged down the door of next room over at midnight while yelling hotel security open up. Unprofessional and disruptive to the rest of us guests. Not a great place. About average.
good location. A little too mid-century modern and swanky for my tastes. Way overpriced for the amenities. Separate parking was ridiculously priced too. Waited in line for 30 minutes to check in and out. Bed seemed short on our two queen room. 4 elevator banks and only ever saw one actually work. Way to slow.
Met basic hotel needs. Parking garage is overpriced at $32 per night, and it has a terrible stink to it as well as leaks and dirty floors. Not a nice experience for hotel guests.
Beautiful room-spacious suite.excellent auto valet service and courteous staff Checked in about 3pm-broken mini-bar refrigerator in the hall along with dirty dishes from someones breakfast 2nd day -Left the room at 11am,returned at 4pm ,no maid service. Had to call front desk for service,no paper 3rd day-no turn down service, had to contact front desk for a breakfast room service menu Elways-two salads-$ 60 SYSCO precooked chicken-salty
No
No dormimos nada.
Great location, staff, overt appearance and cleanliness. The staff went above and beyond when they heard my concerns and righted a poor nights sleep. Thank you. Had a king corner room. Ended up on the 2nd floor. Could hear everything outside due to poor window construction. Shower head was comeing out of the ceiling with plaster on the shower floor. Vanity mirror was cheap had lights out and didn't hold a position and was therefore useless.
Hotel concierge and door men were very pleasant very positive attitudes!
location not great value, poor windows, tiny fitness center
I loved almost everything about my stay. The room and hotel were beautifully decorated and very clean. The staff were all very friendly and professional. Room service was incredibly fast, and the food was delicious. I was given a corner room as a surprise and that was very, very cool. I only have a couple minor complaints. To start, there were some stains on the carpet and some chipped paint on the walls. The room also had a funny smell, but I figured it was just "old building" smell. My biggest issue was that I wasn't sure if the balcony was supposed to be private or not. It wraps around the whole building, but each balcony is separated by a large potted plant that was easy to step over. I figured that meant "private balcony" so we left our curtains open to enjoy the sunshine, and I happened to be undressed when the guests from the next room over stepped over the plant and walked across our balcony to look around the corner. It was very embarrassing. Either the hotel should have let us know that our balconies aren't exactly private, or they should put up barriers that you can't just walk over. Another small issue, they only gave us decaf coffee in the room.
The only plus was that I was reimbursed for my staff. Everything. The hotel smelt of death, once I got into my room the carpets were stained with something disgusting, the sheets were so dirty they were gray. Even the walls were dirty! If anyone is passing through and has an option of staying in this hotel or their car, save your money sleep in your car. I'm honestly surprised this hotel was operable. Worst gore experience of my life.
I liked the location off the highway This place was disgusting. Dirty, nasty horrible room and lobby. Staff were rude and impatient and not very helpful. There were nasty hairs on bathroom sink, was missing a faucet handle, the bed had garbage on it (empty straw wrappers etc) it was just gross and I will never stay at a travelers inn again - not worth the price I paid
The staff was nice and gave us a full refund after we saw the condition of the hotel. This place was very old and run down. It smelled awful. The hallways had dirty walls that were missing baseboards. And flickering lights. We did not feel comfortable staying here.
Not a very good part of the city. This motel is old an in desperate need of repair starting with the check-in desk area. I did not feel safe because of questionable people coming in and out of the front desk, appeared to have nothing to do with spending the night there. I cancelled my reservation right then and went across highway 70 to the motel 6.
As I entered the office, there was a woman who helped me check in, and she was both professional and kind--a mixture that I find valuable in the hospitality business. The layout of the place is a little strange, but it offers good security and has good policies designed to keep down problems with the neighbors. My stay was very quiet and I slept undisturbed. The room smelled nice, and the office chair provided was very comfortable. In spite of appearing to be run down, the place was clean and I encountered no problems during my stay. The quiet of the place is definitely a major plus. Getting to hotel parking from the highway proved to be a challenge during rush hour. People acted as if slowing down to get into the parking lot was a major inconvenience. I also almost missed the parking lot because it wasn't clearly marked. I expected to enter a bit farther away than I did. Some additional signage would be highly beneficial. The carpet was worn and stained, and the mattress had an internal texture that was strange. Though I slept undisturbed, the mattress made it a little difficult to go to sleep. The wallpaper on the corners was worn and there were water stains on the ceiling (the kind you just can't clean, you just have to replace the plaster). The internet was underprovisioned, meaning that there were a lot of people on the same networks. I had difficulty getting online because there were too many people on. And so after multiple attempts, I just stopped trying. The receipt was given to me for the night, and the same receipt the morning after. This is a waste of paper, really, so I wouldn't consider this very "green" friendly. I would like a single receipt, with the option for one at check-in or check-out... not both! For all of these minor problems combined, the loss of one star of rating for me.
Nothing was to like, at ALL! Walls were disgusting, Never Cleaned Before? Honestly Never took of my shoes!!! throw up on the side of the chair from previous tenants! Was the Worst, most disgusting hotel I've stayed in, in my life!!! Wallpaper was tearing all around the room, Just very disappointed after paying an outrageous price for what i got.
I had asked for an early check-in around noon. they said they were not able to accommodate us for that time. gave them my cell and they called about 1 1/2 hours later and said our room was ready front office staff was very nice.
Unbeatable location. Right next to Colorado Convention Center and the other major downtown hotels. Only a block from the 16th street mall. This is definitely nitpicking, but the lobby was pretty boring. I like a hotel with a busy lobby and a happening bar. This hotel had neither, but it wasn't a big deal, because many of the neighboring hotels did.
Spacious comfortable room, good design, good location, new and fresh overall; very good restaurant (Pi) and coffee shop (Das Boggs) bath towels were not up to the same standard as the rest of the hotel
The hotel was very close to the Denver Pavilion where we were able to walk and take a free shuttle to the Union Station and Snooze restaurant. The staff was very courteous and helpful. We had a great view of the Rockies and we could see the Bronco stadium. Housekeeping was great. Parking was expensive The air conditioner did not cool down the room like other hotels. The pool was very small and unimpressive.
The shopping was great. Lots to do in walking distance. I felt it was ridiculous to charge for parking when you're already a guest with the hotel.
Excellent location, perfect rooms (clean and neat). Rather expensive (taking into account the absence of free parking).
I had an issue with the person I was traveling with, and the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. They waited with me until I was picked up by a friend and assured me my safety was their first priority.
Clean and accommodating Rooms were a little noisy from street noise. Valet parking was expensive
I like the location And the food that we had delivered by room service! That's I had to wait while the two front people was on the phone for 20-25 min.! I was in line aline for 15min with two desk people on the phones! Irristati
The staff was always friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable.
The room was clean, spacious and had everything one needs for a weekend in Denver.
Good location, room was clean EXTREMELY thin walls. Neighbors partied all night until 4am and I could hear every word to every song they played, along with their conversations as they were yelling. Staff were very short with me and didn't seem to care about my stay.
Nice building comfortable rooms and good restaurant. Right in the heart of downtown Wish it had a pool and Suns
Close proximity to everything downtown. Mallride stop was just outside the door. Easily walk to shops, restaurants, bars, or convention center. The front foyer area smelled awful.
The REsidence Inn Denver City Center is in a fantastic location right near 16th st. It is perfect for a weekend / week in Denver because it has a fully functioning kitchen, which will save you LOTS of money on food if you do some grocery shopping cook in the room! It was clean and pretty spacious. Take advantage of deals on this hotel (otherwise it is too expensive in my opinion). I found a king 1 bedroom (not studio!) suite on Kayak for $103/night. Otherwise, this room is easily $150/night and up, which may not be worth it (you'll save money elsewhere). No pool
Great location within the city, and the room was comfortable and well-appointed. My particular room was sandwiched between the elevators and the hotel gym-- lots of thuds from banging weights. Gym should not be adjacent to guest rooms, sharing a thin wall. Also, complimentary breakfast ended super-early-- should be 10:30, not 9:30.
Liked having more room than just a bedroom and bathroom. Breakfast was good, and free. Windows could open. Rooftop patio was nice. Staff was helpful. Location was just a couple of blocks from 16th street mall. Restaurants within walking distance. Guess I've been spoiled by other Residence Inns. The smell was very disturbing even with windows open. Furniture was worn out and dated. Carpeting was bad. Kind of sketch area even for a downtown felt barely safe in the evening or very early morning which is a shame if you like to walk places, though it didn't stop us.
The rooms are nice, had a kitchen, very comfy beds and awesome breakfast No swimming pool, have to use key to get to room, $27 to park car [horrible]
Very Clean hotel - Convenient for Downtown activities - Very good breakfast Buffet Couldn't apply my Marriott Rewards bacause I booked thru a 3rd party? Sofa bed couch was poor.
Room was HUGE, gorgeous full kitchen, gorgeous lobby, free popcorn in rooms, amazing breakfast...one of the best hotels I've stayed at and i travel once a week on business around the country. This was for leisure but my boyfriend and I were very happy. Thank you!!!
This was my first time staying at the property and I would stay there again. It was a comfortable stay, the room was clean and it was a good location. The only issue I ran into was a delayed check-in but I was still in just before the 4 pm check-in time and there was an error programming my card causing me to have to go back downstairs to reprogram my card when I couldn't get into my room aft the first day.
Was under construction and was not aware of it when we made the reservations.
Typical Emmbassy Suites, full made to order breakfast, complementary drinks in the evning. Two room suites and friendly staff. Fixtures inside rooms were slightly dated, but more importantly were worn. The kitchen area sink and the bathtub both leaked constantly. And other small issues that just made it appear they didn't care to upkeep the hotel. Overall great stay.
The room was large and the breakfast was great. The mattresses on the bed were not firm enough.
Breakfast was great! Dining service sucked at night considering all the construction
The staff was very friendly. The suites were very comfortable and efficient. The breakfast buffet was very large and tasty. The hotel is a little older but, everything is very nice and clean. We really enjoyed our stay.
The staff that greeted us at checking was extremely professional and polite. She made us feel welcome from the start. There is a major renovation under way. I understand that hotels need to periodically upgrade, but they should consider closing during this process or at least let a person know when they are making a reservation. Also, they should close the doors of the rooms under renovation. It felt somewhat abandoned as we were heading to our room which was actually pretty nice.
