Front desk staff was very attentive and directed their attention to us when we asked a question
Firstly the staff seemed really friendly, and that does make a big difference. I thought we would not like the location because it was off the main area in Aspen, but it ended up I enjoyed the drive every time Also we ordered extra coffee to the room , and the staff was really prompt to get it up to us Nothing was bad
All the staff we came in contact with was so friendly and eager to help. There were some weird smells and the elevator was unbelievable slow.
We booked our room for my partner to run a half marathon. The start was in Snowmass and the finish was in Aspen. Great location, restaurants within walking distance, friendly staff, clean and comfortable room. We thought the price was fair and much cheaper than staying in Aspen. We will definitely stay here again.
Room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was tiny but workable. Hotel was quiet , beds were really comfy and the restaurant was delicious.
The bed was comfortable. The pool and hot tub were not open during the evening except on Friday and Saturday night. Since we were there on a Sunday night we were disappointed we could not hot tub. Wish we knew that when booking, would have stayed elsewhere. The restaurant was very expensive. We didn't eat there. Not many amenities in our room, no mini fridge or microwave. So not a good deal if you like to save money on lunch or breakfast.
Staff were friendly, courted and helpful. Location is great for ski in / out and 4 mountain sports on premise made it a breeze for rentals and gear transport to the other ski areas. Rooms are well appointed - we felt right at home. Our room location wasn't the best - a little noisy at times - too near the lobby.
Had dinner at the hotel and the food and service was excellent, the waiter was well informed and willing to go above your normal expectations. The rooms were very small and even with very few people staying guest were all lumped together in one area of each floor. This took away any sort or privacy and quiet that you usually find at this type of resort in the summer. Hotel front desk staff were terrible. They would not answer the phone they were slow to respond to any requests and appeared as if they all hated their jobs. Our check out and getting our car from valet was a disgrace on the hotel. Management obviously takes a break after the winter ski season which is not normal for this quality of a hotel. Perhaps some stock holders will look at this 5 star resort hotel that is being run like a 2 star mom and pop motel in the summer and turn it around. I would not recommend staying at this hotel in the summer.

Excellent staff and service, beautiful accommodations. The first night the sheets had holes in them, the last night the bottom sheet did not fit and the top sheet was nonexistent. The hvac fan ran continuously.
The facility looks very nice and was. The service is the issue The service ended up being terrible and has resulted in a disaster story to tell friends about. Just awful. First off, when I got there I learned there is only valet parking. I hate to have anyone else drive my car and being forced to did not get us started off on the right foot but is not a huge deal so we just moved past it. We got to our room which was nice and the best part of the experience. Then I got food poisoning from room service (Burger) so I could not sleep. Then in the middle of the night the fire alarm when off. We had to go stand outside for 45 mins waiting for the fire department to get their and clear the alarm. The kitchen set off the alarm while cleaning. By the next morning I just wanted to get home but on check out noticed they charged a $15 resort fee and a $15 valet fee added on in addition to the tips I gave the drivers. I did not raise a fuss with the staff as they were already hearing from other guest and I wanted to get home. They did not offer any discount or anything for the fire alarm which is bad customer service in my opinion. So, to sum it up, I was forced to valet park, got food poisoning, had a fire alarm set off in the middle of the night, had multiple unexpected fees, and received poor customer service. I still can't believe how bad that one night when.
The staff appeared to be friendly, the rooms appeared to be clean. A smoke alarm caused a 130 am evacuation. The explanation given was a "belt caught on fire in the kitchen." I don't know what to make of the reason, but to the lay person it appears that it was caused by carelessness (by overnight staff?), or someone didn't attend to midnight popcorn.
On my previous visit, I loved my room so I was really looking forward to my next visit... But my room was not nearly as nice, it was a handicapped room & so there was no tub & the coffee maker didn't work. Two of my favorite things... I was looking forward to sushi but you guys change the restaurant to a Gastro pub... Which is not a problem but what I did order from room service was no longer available so I was a little disappointed this trip.
