Firstly the staff seemed really friendly, and that does make a big difference. I thought we would not like the location because it was off the main area in Aspen, but it ended up I enjoyed the drive every time Also we ordered extra coffee to the room , and the staff was really prompt to get it up to us Nothing was bad
Front desk staff was very attentive and directed their attention to us when we asked a question
All the staff we came in contact with was so friendly and eager to help. There were some weird smells and the elevator was unbelievable slow.
We booked our room for my partner to run a half marathon. The start was in Snowmass and the finish was in Aspen. Great location, restaurants within walking distance, friendly staff, clean and comfortable room. We thought the price was fair and much cheaper than staying in Aspen. We will definitely stay here again.
Room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was tiny but workable. Hotel was quiet , beds were really comfy and the restaurant was delicious.
The bed was comfortable. The pool and hot tub were not open during the evening except on Friday and Saturday night. Since we were there on a Sunday night we were disappointed we could not hot tub. Wish we knew that when booking, would have stayed elsewhere. The restaurant was very expensive. We didn't eat there. Not many amenities in our room, no mini fridge or microwave. So not a good deal if you like to save money on lunch or breakfast.
Staff were friendly, courted and helpful. Location is great for ski in / out and 4 mountain sports on premise made it a breeze for rentals and gear transport to the other ski areas. Rooms are well appointed - we felt right at home. Our room location wasn't the best - a little noisy at times - too near the lobby.
The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The facility top notch. N/A
On my previous visit, I loved my room so I was really looking forward to my next visit... But my room was not nearly as nice, it was a handicapped room & so there was no tub & the coffee maker didn't work. Two of my favorite things... I was looking forward to sushi but you guys change the restaurant to a Gastro pub... Which is not a problem but what I did order from room service was no longer available so I was a little disappointed this trip.
The facility looks very nice and was. The service is the issue The service ended up being terrible and has resulted in a disaster story to tell friends about. Just awful. First off, when I got there I learned there is only valet parking. I hate to have anyone else drive my car and being forced to did not get us started off on the right foot but is not a huge deal so we just moved past it. We got to our room which was nice and the best part of the experience. Then I got food poisoning from room service (Burger) so I could not sleep. Then in the middle of the night the fire alarm when off. We had to go stand outside for 45 mins waiting for the fire department to get their and clear the alarm. The kitchen set off the alarm while cleaning. By the next morning I just wanted to get home but on check out noticed they charged a $15 resort fee and a $15 valet fee added on in addition to the tips I gave the drivers. I did not raise a fuss with the staff as they were already hearing from other guest and I wanted to get home. They did not offer any discount or anything for the fire alarm which is bad customer service in my opinion. So, to sum it up, I was forced to valet park, got food poisoning, had a fire alarm set off in the middle of the night, had multiple unexpected fees, and received poor customer service. I still can't believe how bad that one night when.
Staff was extremely courteous and accommodating. The room exceeded my expectations.
The staff appeared to be friendly, the rooms appeared to be clean. A smoke alarm caused a 130 am evacuation. The explanation given was a "belt caught on fire in the kitchen." I don't know what to make of the reason, but to the lay person it appears that it was caused by carelessness (by overnight staff?), or someone didn't attend to midnight popcorn.
Service was outstanding. Restaurants very expensive.
Had dinner at the hotel and the food and service was excellent, the waiter was well informed and willing to go above your normal expectations. The rooms were very small and even with very few people staying guest were all lumped together in one area of each floor. This took away any sort or privacy and quiet that you usually find at this type of resort in the summer. Hotel front desk staff were terrible. They would not answer the phone they were slow to respond to any requests and appeared as if they all hated their jobs. Our check out and getting our car from valet was a disgrace on the hotel. Management obviously takes a break after the winter ski season which is not normal for this quality of a hotel. Perhaps some stock holders will look at this 5 star resort hotel that is being run like a 2 star mom and pop motel in the summer and turn it around. I would not recommend staying at this hotel in the summer.
Excellent staff and service, beautiful accommodations. The first night the sheets had holes in them, the last night the bottom sheet did not fit and the top sheet was nonexistent. The hvac fan ran continuously.
Booked a business trip but didn't book my hotel, so I booked Pokolodi at the last minute. Arrived about 10:40pm, 20 minutes before the front desk closed. Karen was so happy to check me in and explain everything, she was also happy I arrived in time. I didn't know they closed early, but that's because I didn't do my due diligence. I didn't take advantage of breakfast so I can't comment on that. Pokolodi is in a good spot, shopping and coffee, beer, food right out the door, and Aspen by free bus every 30 minutes is nice as well. Everything was clean and kept up, despite an older lodging. For the most part I was looking for a place to lay my head down for two nights and Pokolodi didn't dissapoint. Not much
Parking was easy. Check in/out was very simple and hassle-free. Clean Room. Friendly Staff. Very thin walls with adjoining room. Heard a little too much during the stay. Not a lot of food around the site.
Clean, comfortable and right along side the slopes for easy access to activities. Vaulted ceilings, open living space, wood burning fireplace, and full kitchen were a plus. No air conditioning in unit.
The shuttle was fantastic! Staff was very willing to help! Never made it to breakfast and soup for lunch but nice to have available. Traveling with special needs granddaughter and everyone was most helpful in accommodating her needs. Parking was very useful. Jose Feliciano was most helpful on our arrival getting our gear unloaded. A few more utensils in the kitchen would have been helpful. Made a spaghetti dinner for 11 without anything that worked to serve it easily - spaghetti server would have helped. No spatula either. But at the end of the st these are minor issues!
Limpias y lujosas.
No tengo quejas
Excelent image, very classy. The place to be in Aspen. Staff was extremelly helpfull (we had lost our luggage)
A beautiful turn-down service, lovely bathrooms, comfortable beds, fast internet and helpful staff. The mini bar was disappointing, but empty enough to stock with my own purchases. It's a stretch to find any other complaints.
quiet, elegant and hospitable. Walking distance to all good things. none
Good location easy to walk to town and shuttles whenever you need if you don't like walking.
The Gant is located within walking distance west of the base of Aspen Mountain. Our upper floor unit had two bedrooms, dining room, living room w/fireplace, balcony, and full kitchen. In summer, it was a little warm as it is not air conditioned. Staff was very friendly. Nice Pool and Tennis courts. Would definitely stay again.
Very nice complex. out of the way from noise. Excellent staff and shuttle will take you anywhere. Comfortable well decorated rooms. Little bit of noise from adjacent units. I would stay there again in an instant!
The Gant is an awesome place to stay, especially with friends and family. We hope to get the chance to stay there again.
The condos are tucked away at the base of the mountain within a short walking distance to all of downtown Aspen. The staff was attentive and courteous and the condo shuttle vans provided a way to get to the ski resorts (and downtown if you didn't feel like walking) quickly and easily. Two large hot tubs and a heated pool were ideal for soaking after a day on the slopes. Our condo was a good size and very well appointed, clean, and modern. Overall the grounds and amenities were very well maintained. The only problem was that you could hear what we presumed to be the hot water pipes knocking in the ceiling regularly throughout the night. We were on the first floor and this could have been isolated to our unit but if I go back I will request a top floor unit.
If you want space, the Gant is a great option. We opted for 3 BR condo. (Note: the 3rd bedrrom is small.) Would definitely stay there again.
This is my second time to stay at The Gant and I was just as pleased with the accommodations, staff and location as before. I enjoy being able to walk to anywhere you want to be in Aspen in 5-10 minutes or you can take the Gant's shuttle. The Saturday Market is awesome and you should put it on your list of things to do. The Gant is on the quieter end of Aspen and I really appreciate that. My only hiccup was the beds weren't comfortable - not any of the three in Unit D-106. Of course, I sleep on a firm Tempur-Pedic mattress at home so that's hard to live up to.
I will stay there any chance I get! Easy location, with great shuttle service and friendly, helpful staff that helps you with all of your needs! The views, hot tubs and pools are unbeatable. Thanks for another great stay.
We loved our stay at The Gant! The resort staff was friendly and helpful, and upgraded us from a one bedroom to a two bedroom upon arrival. The condo was clean, had every imaginable amenity (including a Jacuzzi tub and steam shower), quiet, and spacious. The property was beautiful, and close to town! We loved the hot tub after a long day of hiking...can't wait to stay here again!
This place was big, beautiful, and in a perfect location. It was extremely clean, the staff was very nice and helpful. I will stay here again on my next trip. Beautiful rooms!
free breakfast, ski in ski out.
The shuttle, location, snowboard in/out, service and breakfast was great. All of the employees at the Inn at Aspen were very helpful. We were constantly in contact with the hotel when our flight was cancelled and they were very helpful with assisting us until our arrival.
Staff at the Inn were very accommodating. Availability of the hotel shuttle was great. Drivers were very helpful with local information. Was booked in a room that was VERY far and required a lot of walking.
It was close to the slops and the staff was very helpfull and nice the sole thing is that they clean the room once a week
Super convenient to all Aspen Mountains. The official X Games Hotel. Very accommodating staff! Nada
The location was excellent, facilities were decorated festively, wonderful complimentary breakfast, great pool and hot tub facility, great lobby bar, and incredibly helpful and friendly staff!
Quite and located near the Music Festival N/A
The location The room did not look ANYTHING like the pictures, it was old and outdated, the bathrooms were small & dirty. they did not offer breakfast as advertised.
Access to restaurants and ski area was great. Doesn't get much closer! Outdoor pool and hot tubs were comfortable and close. A remodel job that wasn't really the best. Room didn't have great control over the temperature, probably just because it's an old building. Parking rates were not mentioned on Kayak, and that was $40 for a week, even though we only stayed one night. Check in process had my name right, but my address as something totally different, not even in the same state. I wonder if something got goofed up between Kayak to Priceline to the Hotel. Also, my biggest complaint was this was not a typical Holiday Inn Express breakfast spread. They ran out of food, many people waiting, and front desk didn't seem to do much... Just shrugged their shoulders. A few upset folks, which is not typical in other Holiday Inn Express locations I've stayed in.
Retro look to room and location. Early in the day a random family walked into our room because they were assigned the same room as us. Then the staff called 2 times from 10-11 at night asking to get our name for the room we were in. Then they came knocking on the door asking for our name again saying that the system was messed up. On top of that the people working the front desk and most of the staff didn't know English so it was hard to communicate.
Location, location, location. Wildwood bar! Funky, cool, old-school Snowmass spot. Spartan, but very acceptable. Bathroom's a bit old. Tub cracked and needs replacement. I had to move the bed platform to plug in the lights on the beside tables and to power bedside power strip. Plugged in refrigerator, very noisy, understood why it had been unplugged. Didn't mind doing any of these things, but a more attentive staff wouldn't have allowed me to be the one to do it.
Friendly staff Trying to find the hotel was a bit of a chore to say the least.
I liked the convenience of having most of the restaurants and some shopping at walking distance from my room. The wireless internet connection was very poor.
Proximity to ski slopes at Snowmass. Value priced compared to others nearby, but given condition of facility not nearly low priced enough Pretty much everything else. Poor upkeep; pool/hot tub were out of service; shower was hot and cold and hot and cold; noise disturbing sleep at all hours; staff seemed like they were working minimum wage at K-mart.
