I spent my 11th anniversary at St Regis, and I shall say our stay was magnificent. The hotel staff is realy friendly. The rooms are great, and with lots of ammenities. The food is great. I would totally recommend this hotel. Although it is a bit expensive, it is worth it. I forgot both my engament and wedding rings, so I called the hotel, and they inmediately told me the cleaning person had already given them to the manager.
I stayed here for 5 days last month with some girlfriends for a spa getaway weekend. It was a fabulous experience and we had a great time. I was very impressed by the extensive amenities and the accommodating staff. Despite the recent travel warning against visiting Mexico, I felt completely safe about my visit. I also did extensive research before I left the states, and found that Americans are being cautioned to stay out of the border cities in Mexico, and resort destinations like Punta Mita are completely fine for visitors. The hotel made me and my girlfriends feel safe on the grounds and gave us great advice as to where to go to around the city. I had a great vacation and would recommend this hotel to anyone!
The place was new and nice but I saw only one other guest there. I had heard from friends that its always dead. And half of the resort rooms are unfinished. It looked like one whole wing was not completed inside. Even the room next to me on my wing had windows etc but the balcony. And interior was as if it was an old construction site. That it wasn't fully completed and was a ghost town.
My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. I cannot imagine a more romantic and perfect place to stay. The resort was breathtaking!! I loved the infiniti pool and the beach and water were gorgeous. No other resort can compare with the service you receive at Four Seasons. It seemed like housekeeping spruced up every single time we left the room. I loved how the staff remembered our names, and they were so friendly and helpful, especially the concierge, who kept us booked with lots of activities. There is so much to do near the resort: surfing, zip lining, dolphin adventures. But I would recommend renting a car, because we had to drive to Puerto Vallarta for most of the activities, but it was a lot of fun driving around and getting to see the other side of Mexico outside of the resort. One thing that amazed me was no matter what request we made, it was always accomodated, such as room service On The Beach at midnight, and we forgot our camera charger, so the concierge charged our ca...
The resort is absolutely stunning, and positioned in a private area just on the ocean. The staff is overwhelmingly helpful. I became very sunburned turning the trip, and one staff member went out of his way and cut off leaves from an aloe vera plant and delivered them to my room. My only complaint with the resort, which others may like, was that it was very family friendly. I do not have children and wanted a relaxing vacation, and some of the screaming children by the pool became tiresome. There is an adult pool, but it's not overlooking the ocean nor does it have an infinity pool like the main area. Overall, amazing, I just wish there were less children.
My wife and I just returned from the Four Seasons Resort in Punta Mita, Mexico. Simply put, it is exactly like the pictures you will see online that make it look like paradise. Make no mistake, a 5-star Resort of this magnitude is not inexpensive, but this trip was a 25th Wedding Anniversary gift to ourselves. Everything about the trip and the Four Seasons Resort was fantastic. We even visited the local town of Punta Mita several times. This is a very short * Peso taxi ride which is just a few blocks outside the grounds of the Resort. There are some very nice 'hidden gem' Restaurants there. We felt very comfortable and safe in town. If you are looking to save money, this is probably not going to be for you. However, if you are looking to spoil yourself on a trip, this is a great spot. Book with confidence.
