The location was just right, on the beach but also just on the south edge of town so it was quiet at night. It's a great starting point for a bike ride down to Punta Uva and the other great beaches. Mariam was very friendly and actually runs down the stairs to meet you when you ring the bell. I stayed there twice during my time in Puerto Viejo. The lady who cleaned my room and the common kitchen area was very nice and used her "magic" to help me light the stove ;-) A little construction noise but that is temporary and can't be helped.
