No acces to the beach

a quick walk to the beach. Very nice pools and rooms! Only issue is that no one takes out the trash or makes the beds. I was only there for two nights but I can only imagine if it's bigger family or someone staying more nights what a hassle it will be to clean up.
Service and no deposit
The location and security at the condos made our stay very comfortable No coffee in the lobby so make sure you bring your own.
Location, the staff was friendly and they took our security very seriously. The pillows on the sofa beds (square ones) were very, very dirty. We didn't have enough towels, I asked for one and I was told that we should get it but we never did.
Right on the ocean. Views are terrific. Great location, short walk to access beach. Nice pool, good security, gated complex. Walk to restaurants, bars, etc. Vendors bring jet skis and other toys to the beach for rent. Free Wi-Fi & good phone service. You are renting someone's condo, so the furnishings, quality & condition will vary from unit to unit. We had a 3 bedroom villa on the water. Had a great time, nothing notable to complain about.
Good size rooms and great pool area You have to walk on lose sand across a few hotel to get to the beach area.
It has a great location, walking distance to the beach, 2 to 3 minutes away from the malecon . The rooms are very spacious, clean, just great. I loved the view from the rooms balcony No
Very nice, clean room with great amenities and excellent location.
Everything it was great we plan to go back
This place was QUIET! Loved it! Just my honey and I for a quick overnight trip. This was definitely not the young party crowd which was perfect for us even though we're 30-40ish. More retired couples with grand kids visiting. Location was great, however, it was NOT beach front. Ocean front, yes. But if you want to walk out your door and walk into the ocean, you can't do it here. A 5 minute walk and you can get into the water though.
The room was small, but used the space very efficiently. There was also a patio space with a beautiful view of the sea. The paint and decor was unique and beautiful, and everything was well maintained. The shower went into a drain in the bathroom floor, rather than taking up a separate space, but everything dried quickly in the coastal desert climate. I had to run the water for quite a while before it got warm, but once it did, it was plenty hot for my shower. This might mean an energy efficient heater with a switch, or a tankless system. I didn't ask. But LED lighting and solar panels suggest a commitment to environmental friendliness and efficiency. The owner was polite and friendly, and although he was not always in the office, we were able to keep in touch by text message. We got lost, and he stayed quite late waiting for us, and was very kind and polite about it. He made sure we knew that GPS might not get us there, and suggested printing a map from Google. This is important! The street names change frequently, and signs are not always accurate or even present. The hotel is right across fom the Plaza de Colosio in Old Port, next to an empty lot with "ocean view lot for sale" painted on a wall. I had to have a local show me the way the first time, but if you print out a map, you should have no problem. The location is convenient to a tourist section of Old Port, with shopping, patio restaurants, pharmacies, bars, frequent live music, palm trees, seagulls, fresh seafood, and ocean views. The people nearby are friendly and helpful. The WIFI was useful, since international data roaming can be quite expensive. This was a great value for the money. It had everything we needed, and nothing we didn't. Parking was listed as an amenity, but there isn't actually a parking lot. Street parking was available, and there is a gravel lot in the rubble of an abandoned building across the street. (Such abandoned structures are common in this part of Mexico, and do not indicate a bad neighborhood, as some Americans might fear.) So it is possible to park your car or truck nearby, but it's not what you might think from the description. Still, no one messed with our van there on the street, so it was fine. It is a border town, so it is best avoided during Spring Break. Since my husband and I look young, street vendors offered to sell us illegal drugs, and tried to pursuade us to come to tequila bars. This is not a reflection on the hotel, of course, but on American tourists who have corrupted this place. Overall, it was a lovely vacation. Navigating Puerto Penasco can be confusing, as street names change frequently, and signs are often incorrect or missing. Bring a map! And don't be afraid to ask for directions, even if you don't speak good Spanish. People here are generally friendly and glad to help, some for tips, many just out of genuine human kindness.
This place is idyllic. All the comforts of an American studio apartment, nestled in Rocky Point's Old Port. The owner took great care of us, providing tips about the area and making us feel at home. The inn is decked out in colorful Mexican decor and kept very tidy. This an absolute gem. No complaints whatsoever.
Close to the old part of town Unique hotel nice ownership air conditioning units were undersized, but we stayed during the peak hot season they didnt serve coffee in bed :)
I used to appreciate the security guard and semi closed parking lot. Sportsbook - bar on site Semi dead cockroach in bathroom of first room. Water on floor of entryway of bottom floor room (leaked in from rain). Beds are matresses on hard - fixed boxes. Only had 3 toels and zero washcloths in room, asked for 5 more and were only given 2 more after long verbal pleading with security guard ( who appears to make all decisions about requests)Bathroom toilet not working in 2nd room. Strip club out back window of bathroom. Had tent-canopy cut from suv roof and stolen. Security guard was asked to watch out for it but I suspect his frequent trips to his own truck was for a nip or 2 and he was nowhere to be seen in AM. (Police arrived within 2 minutes after phone call and seemed competent and were very polite and easy to deal with). Hotel Senorita used to be better but I fear that time has changed it.
Locality Old air conditioning
Hotel is near the beach, location is very centralized. TV don't work, toilet in room with no seat, hallways are wet from AC running, no Wi-Fi, dirty pool water. Rooms need to be renovated... Some fresh paint, toilet seat, cable TV and nicer bed linen would really make this a great hotel.
Good price Very old building even older rooms not a 5 star hotel not even a half star.
