The man's washroom was dirty and the door lock of the bath room was broken, noisy at night, some guests talking and turn on the TV upto 4a.m. in the sitting room on Friday night.
Was a quaint holiday park, reasonable facilities in an easy to access location. Park was quiet even though it was busy. Friendly atmosphere. Room a bit shabby considering the exorbitant costs (costs are extremely high in Port Hedland in general due to all-year round mining companies booking up everything in town - they can charge what they like up there). A horrible town to visit due to the poor conditions and the fact its a mining town with no town pride evident anywhere. Cooke Point park was nice enough, but don't expect anything too great. Holiday elsewhere.
Nothing How you can charge that amount of money for a dog box with paper thin walls is nothing short of an outrage. I travel around the state a great deal and can confirm my stay was the worst in 25 years.
It was very clean and friendly, staff were helpful. I prefer not to stay in a bunk house but it was all that was available at short notice, was not the fault of the Holiday Park
proximity to town and pretty pool the best secret in the northwest Unfortunately the Pilbara battles to cope with the mining industry and so the tourist has to take a back place and take whatever is left, which is a shame because it is us you need when the boom subsides.
