It was very quite at the hotel, especially at the beach. It was exactly what I wanted for my vacation
Nice architecture - rooms well designed. Its location on the bay is perfect. Room service clould improve - (very slow response)
The staff were exceptional pleasant and helpful. The rooms were very big, very comfy. The food (dinner buffet, lunch a la carte at pool) was fantastic! The breakfast was not very good - they need to improve the variety and quality.
it was excellent. no.
the location was fantastic, the view, the atmisfere in the hotel, and overall good value for money outside was humid and hot and they could have some funs on the restaurant ceiling outside ,instead they have them all in the airconditiion, and if a customer wants to have dinner in the aircondition cause of the humid this is impossible as there is no indoor restaurant.
Everything! the accommadation, the cleanliness, the staff, the pool, the breakfast, the view, even afternoon coffee with the added extra of tiny shortbread biscuits so nicely presented . Will definitely like to go back soon. Need i say more! My stay wasnt long enough!
Great location for relaxing and swimming. Pissouri itself lacks medium to high end quality - this was disappointing. But I loved staying at the Columbia Beachotel. Staff were at times defensive. Ironing board and iron had to be requested. And the most annoying is that the hairdryer is nowhere near a mirror!
I liked the friendliness and outgoing manners of all the staff. It was an extra bonus in addition to the good service.
privacy, services and facilities, easy access to the beach, friendly hotel staff expensive alcoholic drinks, not enough local cypriot food, no access to pool at columbia resort would have been nice for a change, could we have paid to access the larger pool? entertainment that was advertised did not always happen, staff were not able to confirm if this would take place, it was my husbands birthday on 4/6,should have had live music at the Apollo did not happen very disappointed
Location, just next to the amazing church, very close to the main promenade Short reception working hours. It closes at six. You must make a booking a bit in advance in order get to know where the key is left.
The location next to the Larazos church is great, a bit hidden from the busy touristy boulevard. The building is nicely renovated, with respect to local architecture and with good taste. The room was small but fine. Good service by email and upon arrival, for example arranging us a taxi for the next day and allowing us in before check in time. No hotel atmosphere, but the idea of having one's own small apartment in the middle of town. Tea and coffee facilities were provided, as well as fresh water in the fridge.
Very friendly, they let us choose rooms, they were very helpful. Wireless(didn't work)
The location was very good, the rooms were fine for the price, and we had everything we needed in the room. The following morning, I ran into some staff, and thay were so sweet end friendly. The hotel is, in my opinion, a very charming hotel with very good location. I'm a student, at I think the price was fair (but could always use it cheaper of course). Nothing, I didn't like. Everything was either perfect or acceptable.
Good location, very near beach and resturants Room were not cleaned during our stay but we did get clean towels
The location was excellent and one of the staff helped us with an internet issue. I can't think of anything else we liked. Plenty. There was no reception as you would expect to find. I had been sent an email to tell me where the key to our room was but as I did not have access to email at the time this was useless. A text message would have made more sense. The Alkisti brochure says that all its rooms have a view over everyday Cypriot life. Our window was half a metre from a brick wall, with no view whatsoever and virtually no daylight. The fittings in the bathroom (towel rail, toilet roll holder) were all missing but they were replaced on our last evening. Poor selection of TV channels for British viewers, esp. when the majority of holidaymakers are British. Housekeeping was very poor. Toilet was cleaned and wastebin emptied (left in the middle of the room).
Excellent location. Excellent value for money with comparable service and attention. Would definitely stay there again.
The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. The hotel staff were quite friendly and helpful. The location was central to all the Larnaca shops, the sea, and the landmark church, Ayios Lazarous, the Fort, and Turkish mosque. No complaints.
Friendly staff, even called me in uk to explain late arrival key availability.Modern, clean room in old refurbished building. Free parking close by.Overlooked small garden - there can be few green areas like this in the old part of Larnaca. Adjacent to beautiful church. Good restaurant immediately opposite. Overall, very good value basic accomodation in good position. No towels in room first night - with no staff on duty. Room not cleaned on first day. Disappointing but did not spoil our overall experience.
Everything, location, clean, staff (especially Elena in reception) were very helpful. Small comfortable refurbished character hotel in the shopping area of Larnaca, overlooking St Lazarus church & square. Only 2 minutes walk to beach and many restaurants
