The water, beach, and friendliness of the staff was outstanding! We especially liked the guys in Aqua Mania who gave us the scoop on the best snorkel site (Divi Bay, with a sunken sailboat, helicopter and submarine!) We had a GREAT room with an awesome view in the newest part of the resort. Resturant choices were not great on property, and the building layout was little confusing.
We had several maintenance issue that we could not get fixed -- air conditioning, toilet, plugged drain. Staff was not responsive.

Lovely bar and restaurant space on the beachside of the hotel. Great breakfast, cocktails and bar food - the best we ate and drank in Philipsburg. Sea view rooms are a good size, modern, clean, great bathroom, small fridge, wooden floors. All staff very friendly and helpful. At breakfast you can order fresh eggs etc from a menu on the table but no one told us or offered it so we missed out for the first 3 days. Location is great for a couple of days but not the best holiday location on the island. Once cruise ships leave around 6 pm the area closes down. The city view room on 3rd floor that we stayed in on our last night before flying out was cheaper but not as nice as ocean view - pay the extra.
Lovely staff, amazing location, a bit quirky. If you love history and a bit of character, this is the place for you. Breakfast was on their amazing terrace overlooking the beach and promenade, from where you could enjoy the breezes while watching the port area come alive. Overall a very local and authentic spot.
Lovely hotel right on the boardwalk, but not noisy at night. Wonderful balcony for people and ship watching. Restaurant served really good food, though mixed drinks were expensive. Parking was very near by and free.
The Atrium was great for us as we had stayed there before. It is a relaxing way to enjoy St Martens. It is on the beach, close to the airport and is so well located that we did not need a car. We had a great view of the Bay and mountains from our room. The WiFi reception was sketchy at times. Car traffic on the main road near the Atrium has really turned into gridlock for most of the day from one end of the island to the other on the Dutch side.
Great resort, clean, comfortable and safe. First time in lower floor room was nothing special a little dated but the staff makes up for it. Friendly and welcoming. Great for the money we spent per night, didn't have a view
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Perfect location, within walking distance of several restaurants. The room we rented needs an update. New tile, new bathroom facilities. The internet worked in our room sporadically. Several guests plus ourselves had to go down to the lobby if we wanted good connection.
Loved that it was a studio with a fully stocked kitchen. Our housekeeper was a fantastic woman who did a great job and helped direct us around the hotel when we needed something. All of the staff was accommodating and kind. Hot water was intermittent, but with the warm weather, it wasn't too big a deal.

Close to airport and quiet Restaurant was closed for the low season and I was told the pool bar would be open in the am for coffee and such in the am. The pool bar was closed until noon and I had to walk off the property to get coffe

Location was great. Design of hotel and condition of room was good - tile floors, nice kitchen with SS appliances & marble bath. Concierge, was excellent. The resort has great potential - basically I like it and will return again. Room smelled moldy, convenience store in lower level was permanently closed, light fixture broken, bar/restaurant was closed for the slow season. Staff needs training in providing an excellent experience for guests as they seemed a little disinterested.

Nothing The hotel is dirty, it smells of mold. I had a horrible experience.
Don't know how they did it but they got rid of all but one mosquito, a comfort to know during the current Zika outbreak. They added a second elevator on the other far end of the property. Cleanliness has always been good here but this time, immaculate (bravo to the cleaning staff). Any issue reported is handled quickly and thoroughly. Not enough tv channels, which you need when stuck inside due to inclement weather. WiFi was not always reliable but that may be an islandwide issue. I didn't need it but I noticed the bathroom shower and sink water didn't get warm. Maybe a small hotplate in studios would a nice addition to fridge and microwave.
