Waterfront and restaurants are excellent
The oceanfront location is beautiful. The grounds are well kept and clean. The Angler's restaurant had excellent food. Some of the restaurant servers were excellent, some were horrible. My husband and I were in Marsh Harbor during the low season. There were fewer then 12 hotel guests. The upgraded extra cost ocean front room we paid for was truly filthy (floors, bathroom, etc.). The shower faucet fell off in my hand. This was one of the dirtiest hotels I have ever stayed in. Several members of the restaurant wait staff were down right rude and clearly not interested in doing their job. I cannot imagine how they must behave and clean the rooms during the busy season!!!
This is a great place to stay. It is a little ways from the main shops and eating places. A car would be nice to have but for one who likes to walk it is a good hike from above mentioned places. the house keeper is very helpful and she is also a cab driver so if you need her, she is available. The beach is okay, but a bit rocky. Great for tanning and relaxing though. The efficiency is small but good for 2 people. Does not have an oven, but there is a cooktop if I am not mistaken and a microwave and coffeepot. The 2 bedrooms are completely furnished and has all the amenities of a house. One TV in the living room. Spacious!
These darling bungalows are located just out of town on a totally private peninsula. Everything you need is there, large rooms, spacious kitchen, comfortable living room, beach, BBQs, hammocks, etc. It's not super luxurious, so not for everybody, but it's a great value.
