The breakfast is really nice and the staff are super-friendly; Finns generally are very friendly people. This hotel is a bit of a truckers-stop which indicates that the food is good. The hotel itself is two floors high with long corridors; looks like a changing room facility more than a corridor in a hotel! This hotel is expensive for what you get, but remember that Finland is very expensive anyway
The rooms were a very decent size and accommodated our family perfectly! It was quiet and not only was the staff lovely, but the other people staying in the hotel itself were happy and helpful! For my husband, the best part was the wonderful buffet breakfast included with the room! :) I can't think of anything.
closing at 10.00pm, however people is waiting for you after previous contact.
excellent location, free parking, very snug rooms and good sauna, cosy pub in the lobby
The personnel was very professional and kindly, the breakfast was normal Finnish standard. We overnighted during the week-end (Friday-Saturday) and the noice after midnight (rally by the 20 year young car drivers around the market square) disturbed us to sleep nearly at all during that night.
Though the location is great, there are much better hotels in the same area not listed on booking.com Had booked 2 nights but immediately canceled the 2nd after seeing the horrible condition of this hotel. Front desk staff doubles as bartender and cook. Lobby smells like fish. No air conditioning in the rooms, and it was very hot during our stay. Park outside hotel is noisy all night. Hotel is worn out and needs a major redo. Public areas are dirty. I could go on...
