The manager was awesome!!! So understanding and helpful The pictures did not show what the hotel looks like whatsoever. The lobby and facilities were extremely outdated, although the room was nice. The poolside service was awful-- we asked for water and he brought us bottles water and was going to charge us something like $5 per bottle so I asked for a cup of water instead, which he said they don't serve because "it tastes bad." But he served it to the person next to us. I then went to the bar and got a cup of water. The bartender was also very nice and accomadating!
Staff was friendly The hot tub was closed the entire time. The gym was closed for one of the 3 days we were there. Valet parking is $35/day extra, bike rentals extra...no amenities and not cheap!!!
The hotel's proximity to the beach is great. They have a wonderful restaurant with ocean views--very nice. The walls are paper thin--you can hear everything from people talking to dogs barking (it's a pet friendly hotel). Also, the fridge in the room would start buzzing every hour and wake us up. The staff was not very polite when we asked if we could switch rooms (we paid for a nice ocean view room and instead got an ugly view of a construction site). The driver of the shuttle who took us to Main Street was telling us how much nicer the Hyatt down the street is (next time I'll stay there!).
Huntington Beach downtown area was nice, close & convenient. Poor lighting in room and bathroom/ no fan in bathroom.
Close to the action, new, modern look. They lie about having bathtubs, turndown service, etc.
We enjoyed our stay in your hotel. Your accomodations were excellent and your staff were very courtious and helpful. You need to provide more staff during heavy check out times such as Sunday before noon.
Shopping and dining. Absolutely no complaints at all! By far, the best hotel we have ever stayed at. Not only have we stayed in 4 Star hotels, I've also worked for one and they could not compare to the excellent service we received from the Shorebreak!
location, location, location no
Loved the bathroom and bed, the two most important areas for me when I travel. I upgraded my room once I arrived and my room had a great patio/balcony with two outdoor loungers and a table with 4 chairs, allowing for entertaining friends outside instead of in the room. I wasn't crazy about the "pet friendly" policy since I'm not a dog fan, but it wasn't really a problem.
It's clean, great location, reasonable price. the staff was overly accommodating & wonderful. all staff members acknowledged me in hallways, valet, etc. etc. I didn't think the quality of food at zamzala (?) was that great but wouldn't keep me from returning.
I feel this hotel is setting the new standard for V.I.P.
The staff made it for us. They were accommodating, attentive, and courteous. The location is walking distance to many shops, eateries, and beach. Pets are allowed and not charged excessively. The rooms are clean Euro style. I was thought we were getting a hotel on the beach but it was across the street. When I called to check on the reservation I made a remark what a great deal it was $ wise for a hotel room on the beach and I was never informed that it was not on the beach. The booking reservations department misinformed us on pet rules on the beach.
Easy access to the seashore and beautiful view of the Pacific Coast Line from the room. NO
The breakfast was good, rooms were very nice, clean Parking sucks, only one elevator
We love the location and the friendly staff. Our shower was clogged and never drained properly
It was very clean and we also liked that it had a microwave and fridge.
The most comfortable bed and wonderful pillows
It was close to my house during my termite tenting... Too much noise all night. People running down the halls and taking showers at all hours of the night. The electricity and phone went off for over an hour and no one came to check on me or ask if I needed anything. It was extremely inconvenient. I was not offered an apology and when I asked what they planned on as a compensation for the inconvenience I was told that I would be called and it would be taken care of. I was not called. Very poor staff and poor management . I would never stay at this hotel or any under the same name.. The tub was gross and not cleaned...I had to clean it before I used it...the microwave sparked when I tried to pop popcorn that they gave me. All on all it was an awful experience.
The location next to the Naval Weapons Station, Boeing facilities, and the city of Seal Beach. The smell and the facilities seemed a little run down.
Beach front location. Not worth it, deluxe king $536 was dated and noisy on the ground floor. Lots of extra charges - rest fee $25, valet $36, breakfast allowance $75, if two people take the buffet and have a coffee each that's already over the $75 allowance! Rude, defensive front desk. Very unimpressed.
Great location with everything you could ever want in a resort hotel.
Loved the pools and access to so many things around the hotel The smoke detectors went off at 3:15 am in both the hallway and 1 of our 2 room suite! A neighbor then began yelling at someone else about having a cigarette. We even had to change from our original room due to the lingering smell of smoke from previous guests.
The hotel was very accommodating and the staff was nice. They had all the amenities from beech crushers to surf boards. The kids had fun in the pools and roasting marshmallows. All around great time!!!! The long walk to the room from the lobby!
Probably the most excellent staff at any Hyatt, I have ever stayed. It was my daughter's 9th birthday and they made her feel like a million bucks. Send a card to the room signed my more staff members than I have family. The pools are great. The water slides are even better and the beach is clean and well-maintained. I will be coming back.
I enjoy walking and it is located at one end of Sunset Beach so you can walk to various attractions and the beach.
Close proxmity to beach Stairs up to the third floor.
It was kind of an old building, but well kept. Very clean! Homey suites. All appliances in working condition. Easy access to several beaches. Easy access to shopping and amusement parks. Best of ALL...adjacent to docks and Wildlife Viewing Area! Excellent views!!
The parking was horrible, no elevators and the stairs were very steep, there was mold underneath the water handle on the shower, and you are not allowed to use the phone, no ice machine, and no guests allowed.
Goog location and good value for money. it is not an excellent place in terms of services or facilities but the minimum is more than ok! there is no elevator but they are only three floors.
Proximity to the beach... Carpets were dirty, towels did not smell fresh, shared balcony
The People were absolutely fantastic and really looked after us
Walking distance from restaurants Neither the drain in the sink or the drain in the bathtub functioned properly
Good location for our needs Poor lighting
Nothing Will not stay here ever again. I regretted it the second we turned into the motel and saw how dirty and run down the building looked. Regretted it even more when I walked in to the front desk to check in and realized this was a family owned business. The room was smelly, dingy and overall dirty. The bathroom mirror was rusted, the shower head was molding, the bath tub was dirty and super tiny and the toilet is literally wedged in between the door and the bathtub. I felt dirty even after I showered and I was horrified that the bed also smelled. Book if you date!!! You'll have night mares about this place for days!
the oversized bathroom was great i did not like the outrageous hike in price due to the 4th of july holiday.
Like the location. Only place with available room on short notice - same day. Just needed a quick cheap place to stay. Check in staff was not friendly and quoted different price than what was available online. I reserved a single Queen room and got a room that had a full and a twin. Check in person told me that if I even touched the twin bed, I would be charged $30 more. Generally rude. Room was very dated and did not feel clean.
Get what you pay for
close to beach a little noisy a little less clean than most hotels
Location of hotel to local beach
Great hot breakfast as well as evening reception meal. It was close 5min drive to Disneyland Resort parking. Paying extra for hotel parking, $12/night.
Room was bigger and better equipped than we expected. The convenience of the shuttlebus and availability of early breakfast made it the ideal location for visiting Disney.
Pretty aged facility...

We like this hotel with the reasonable price, location, rooms and staffs We do not like the noise of the kids still run around even at 11PM
I like the location because it's located very close to everything I wanted to do. Also, my girlfriend house is closed by. It can be very noisy on the weekends. However, I was placed on the top floor so it did not bother me so much The furnitures could be better. They are cracked and dated.
Many public spaces and public amenities are pretty good, underground parking is a plus. Bar and restaurant on site with many choices is a plus. Many restaurants around the area is also very nice. Rooms are clean and the size is ok. The facility is too old, funny smell in room.
Great area Needs updating
Location My room was dirty my bed sheets had blood on it and when we call front desk they transfer to house cleaning and I told them that I need my beds sheet change and show them that there was blood and they say oh wow maybe it's the house cleaning maid nails
nothing. I have requested for non-smoking room, but got a smoking room. This is very bad...... There is no word that I can describe this terrible experience. This was the first time in my life that I was with the bad experience on my travel.
Location and price. A little grungy in the public areas. The window in my room had no lock, but it was unlikely anyone would have climbed onto my second floor balcony to break in. But still, it should be lockable.
It was close to where we needed to be with family. The carpet was very dirty and the bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. We didn't get much sleep. The people in the halls were loud and we heard a person getting sick, vomiting.
It ok. No
Clean hotel room, friendly staff, closet to Disney only one staff person working the evening we checked in 6/9/15, the tv did not work and the jacuzzi's hot water was not working. although the staff person was very nice, he needed help. our phone calls were never answered to resolve the two issues

Good location, clean rooms, pleasant staff. Parking fee, housekeeping was still cleaning rooms at 5:00 p.m.
Breakfast crew. Excellent. Having to pay for daily parking when the Hampton Inn next door had free parking!!!!!
I like the location of the hotel. it was convenient40 z traveling around easy traveling around the area. In addition, it was near a strip mall and a wide variety of restaurants. I was under the impression that it was a non smoking hotel. I woke up two days in a row with my newborn's hair smelling with the stench of smoke from the comforter. The staff were not friendly. they constantly asked my two ethnic teenagers for their room key each time they entered the hotel. And once they took the key from my son when he was trying to use the vending machine to verify my name on the reservation before returning it back to him. lastly when I was attempting to get the continental breakfast, I learned that you had to pay for the breakfast. For some reason my son and i were picked out randomly amongst an entire crowd of people to be asked for a buffet a ticket.I inform them that I thought it was included being the fact that a majority of hotels I have stayed in have always included continental breakfast. Instead of her explaining to me nicely and in a professional tone, the staff member it loudly and rudely told me" you don't have any money you have to pay to eat here" I was so embarrassed that I just put the food down and walked away. of course I have money to pay for the breakfast if I have money for the hotel duh! She could have kindly informed me that it was not included with the traditional hotels day and that a buffet voucher can be purchased at the front desk or bill to my room. I just found it strange that she picked us out of the entire crowd to ask us.i did not appreciate her loud talking me. I also did not appreciate the other staff members standing around me and my son as if we were going to cause a commotion.amongst a few other things that take too much time to mention, I just decided to come upstairs and pack my bags and leave. I decided to stay at another hotel for the rest of our trip. such a disappointment
I was disappointed that there is no "complimentary breakfast". For the price, you would expect not to have to pay that much for a breakfast. This would prevent me from staying at this hotel again. I would choose one with complimentary breakfast.
Facilities were very clean. The location was very convenient. The shuttle was a quick 5 minute ride to Disneyland. It was about a1 hour drive (with traffic) to Universal Studios. Bed was a little stiff and the pillows were very squishy. If staying for a while and you like to unpack, there's only an armoire.
Staff was very helpful in answering all of our questions. They were out of tickets for Disney but did get us taken care of for shuttle passes. Room was clean and bed felt great after a long day at the park. The provided continental breakfast was good, wish the hours went a little later for it. Had to pay for parking which seems to be an annoying trend that's becoming common with hotels. Just another fee they tack on to a ton of others. Most people who travel have a car when arriving at their hotel-seems unfair to pay to park where you're staying.
Close to facilities such as Disneyland.
Nice shower, breakfast, and bed was comfy. The staff was amazing. Several surfaces in the room were sticky so I had to wipe them down with a wet wash cloth before settling in.
Would prefer to have a restaurant or eating options in the hotel.
The location and the complimentary breakfast. there were only 2 elevators. It became very crowded at times. They had women competing in a competition that was not family friendly attire.
I have had a big problem staying there due to the feather pillows. The air system is very dusty with a poor filter. The pillows are full of dust. I had a bad allergic reaction to the dust. The service was very good.
Everything was very good overall and with a few minor issues (mostly personal things) they did a very good job with everything. Room was clean, as well as the bathroom. View was super nice and clear from the 16th floor, south tower. Staff in hotel was courteous and fast. Soap in bathroom was used. TV was pure static. No complimentary breakfast. Valet was sort of rude.
Easy access via shuttle which is convenient. The shuttle/parking should be free for guests... I wouls have given an extra star for the extra value.
The hotel has an amazing staff. The two restaurants are very good and offer really good food unlike most hotel restaurants. We had the one bedroom suite and it was very clean. The hotel has its own shuttle bus going to and from Disney check out is at 1200 am. I paid $170 per night and it was far better than the Fairfield inn by Marriott which is located right across the main entrance to Disney Land. There is a Starbucks inside the hotel!! The prices in the little store of the hotel are somewhat ridiculous but it is a great hotel. Parking is rediculous with $27 per night. One Bus is not enough during peak hours to get guests to park.
This is our 4th stay in Hyatt regency orange county this represent how we are loyal to this hotel we just feel like home
The hotel lobby was beautiful and the employees were very nice. We had 3 different groups of family coming in and the person who checked us in gave us top notch service and was able to let us check-into our rooms early. He even let us have free shuttle tickets for everyone for Disneyland. I definitely will be back. With a group of 12 of us it was much easier to have the breakfast buffet at the restaurant in the lobby. it turned out great!
What a friendly and service oriented team! Made us feel very welcome and well taken care of.
Staff was very courteous and friendly. Excellent customer service. The location was great. Loved taking the shuttle to Disneyland from the hotel. Hotel is well kept. Loved the lobby - spacious. The Starbucks, gift shop and deli. Even thought we felt self parking was expenses we appreciated that the parking was adjacent to the hotel. Overall we had a wonderful time at the Hyatt Regency Orange County and we look forward to staying there again. The mattress' were not comfortable. The pillows looked worn, pretty flat. Housekeeping didn't leave us enough towels on two days. We got confused when we drove up to the hotel and staff (not sure if they were all Valet staff) came to our car and immediately asked us if self park or valet. and began to pull our bags out of the card. We had no idea what we were going to do without checking in first. That was a bit overwhelming. We felt self parking was too expenses.
As soon as we walked in we felt welcomed, It was our hotel choice as newly weds on our honeymoon and Helen the front desk coordinator was great! She bumped our room from standard king to a full suite!! Must I add she also gave us complimentary chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of wine!! This was all unexpected! I would definitely book here again and recommend it! :)
Loved the location, room cleaness, staff was very friendly and bed was confortable. Breakfast buffet was a bit over priced.
It was clean, convenient for our conference, room was comfortable, staff and service was above expectations. Hotel food/restaurant/bar was good. Also close to other restaurants.
The staff was extremely nice and helpful!
The rooms were big The staff were not very helpful. When asked about transport to lax I was told to ring the company myself. We also asked for a late checkout the day before and confirmed it on the day of to which they said it needed to be organised 24 hours communication
The rooms were spacious and it was a close distance to Disneyland but also offered restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Staff was rude or non existent. Rooms were dirty. Found several small pieces of plastic on the ground that my infant could have choked on. No bags in the garbage cans. Room service food was horrible at best.
The hotel was definitely worth more than what I payed for Front desk wasn't sure about shuttle times to Disneyland for the race weekend.
We love the 2 bedroom suite and ability to sign into our Netflix account through the televisions in the room.
The large suite-style room.
I love the pillows at Marriott! They are the best! My husband loved the soap. We ordered room service and the chinese dumplings were excellent. NO
Location, A/C was wonderful in the room with plenty of vents. We arrived earlier than expected and front desk staff was very accommodating to try and get us into a room early. Parking charges. $15 a night for self park or $20 for valet.
I liked the room and the friendliness of the staff. The walls were thin so I was woken up on a few occasions by neighbors and people walking in the halls. The room service was also late by 20 min.
Amazing proximity to major highways and Disneyland. Great restaurants nearby. Beautiful property with huge room and great amenities.
Spacious room, comfortable bed. Manager on duty was very professional and know how to accommodate the guest. Housekeeper did a great job. Our room key was not working on second night. It was not convenient when the kids were asleep after the long day at Disneyland.. Apparently it's because I added a night so I have to re check in. Front desk didn't tell me and he claimed he did. He was rude
The size of the room Breakfast was not included and WAY over priced. Also I think I was overcharged for parking.

Room was clean and just as advertised. Front desk Staff was helpful and went above and beyond to send balloons and cookies to our room for my son's birthday. Breakfast was outstanding each morning and the breakfast staff was amazing. The workers never stopped moving- cleaning, replenishing, and even handing out stickers and activity sheets to the kids! Location was great- quick shuttle ride (additional ticket required) right up to the gates of Disneyland.
The 2 room suite is wonderful with a full kitchen. The floor in the breakfast area was sticky both mornings we were there. Spills should be cleaned quickly to avoid this.
The room was modern. Some of the towels were dirty.
it was close to freeway and disneyland and it was clean
The only upside was the price No Free Wifi, hard to get in and out of the parking area, outside was dirty and noisy
Nothing. We arived late at night and didnt see the outside. Just in the room. Room looked ok from standing at the front door. No toilet paper Bathroom was not cleaned No soap No hand towels. Luckily we only stayed for the night.
The price. Hard to get into the parking lot. Access only from one direction, requiring having to drive past the complex if coming from west to east. You had to drive past the hotel and then make a U-turn to approach from the other direction. No free WiFi
The room was very nice The location and poorly ran.
The location The air conditioner didnt work and the shower sprayed all over
Friendly staff There was a problem with my door, my key didn't always open the door and I also had trouble with it locking when i left for the day
Exelence 1 mattress Quenn size making noisy when change diitffence direction .
The room No there was not
Staff are nice and understanding Cheaper price
Inexpensive motel. It was clean. Nice pool area and small dog park. Very friendly front desk employees. Plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. Clean room. Not in the best neighborhood. Shifty characters hanging out around the hotel. Difficult to get into parking lot from Trask avenue.
