The location was just right for my visit. I could access many areas of the city with little planning. Staff was great help especially both check in and restaurant. My room was well presented with necessary amenities and good housekeeping. The balcony was breath taking to view city skyline. Thank you for a memorable stay. I would have liked to have an informative journal from hotel as to what can be ordered from restaurant or how to dial phone calls or what sights are near by. This would put the hotel higher on my list.
As long as you get a "comfort" room, it's ok. Renovated rooms are up to 3 star European standards with decent bedding and furnishings and flat screen tv. Bathroom has a good walk-in shower and good water pressure, and a modern toilet. View of the river was good too. Staff doesn't speak English - be prepared for that and accept it.
The location on the bank of the river is good. The room, a junior suite, was one of the worst rooms I have had at a European hotel. Furnishings seemed about 50 years old - not an exaggeration!! Bathroom was atrocious - the shower head used a hose coming up from the spigot in the sink! Front desk staff doesn't speak English at all - not any of them. Don't stay here unless you want to experience third world style comfort and old Soviet Union level of service!
