Friendliness of owner and staff Location - overlooks fishing factory buildings - distant view good. Not much in immediate area. car needed
Hotel staff *including the owners* were very friendly. Everything was very clean and the sheets were very soft. The self catering room I had is the most affordable one and as such has no view at all of anything. But I didn't expect one. Also, there are no walls behind which to park your car but it didn't seem necessary where the hotel was located. One could nestle the car close to the cottage.
Lovely stay. Staff were great especially the omelettes. Hosts very helpful. Good place to base yourself for Cape town attractions.
Friendly staff No airconditioning,TV placed in cupboard makes it extremely impracticle to use cupboards.A Little imagination will solve the problem at minimum cost.Put your thinking cap on.PLEASE
Seacliffe Lodge is a small hotel with a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The owner Tom and his Staff were very attentive, informative, helpful and friendly, with suggestions and hints on sight-seeing. Tom also organised car hire and our day safari even getting up very early to transfer us to meet the minibus to Aquila Game reserve and collecting us from Camps Bay upon our return. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. We would thoroughly recommend this Hotel and intend to return when we next visit South Africa. There was nothing we didn't like and cannot fault our stay at Seacliffe Lodge
The rooms are lovely and sapcious, with a generous bathroom and it was beautifully furnished. In a good area. Our reception was delightful! It would have been nice to have had tea/coffee making facilities in the self catering unit. The kitchen cupboards were a little on the tatty side. They defintely need to invest in an airconditioning unit as the teprature was way above 30 degrees and we cooked in the room.
It was very easy to find, and the staff (Alma and Tom) were more than helpful. Fantastic attention to detail and the premises were beautiful.
Friendly reception, comfort and support during water cut-off! No
Room had wonderful view and was spacious. Push button in the bath did not work
Fab hotel and staff, this hotel is great value and luxurious. Wish we had stayed longer. The
The staff were amazing. Service is clearly their highes priority. In particular the restaurant staff were amazing. The top sheet on the bed was very stiff - as though it had been starched.
The atmosphere on entry said it all- calm, friendly and stylish without being overstated. the staff were most obliging and friendly, amajor point of satisfaction no, although the double bed might have been wider. A small poin
Very much enjoyed our short stay. The hotel has beautiful design features and a very peaceful ambience. The standard of staff care and attention is outstanding but never intrusive. The evening meal in the restaurant was the best we had on our sa trip. Compared to other hotels/ guest houses in which we stayed in sa, the hbn may not offer best value for money.
Lovely view and comfortable lodging
the establishment was clean , and neatly appointed, the staff were informative , and allowed personal space , as well as a flexible choice of rooms available. to take the whole experiance to another level , from a Marketing exec's perspective. the room s are very well maintained, and coud use a complementary bolltle of shower gel, shampoo and conditioner.and these might seem trivial , but are a very accurate indication of attention to detail.Lastly , the staff need to wear a branded uniform during Breakfast , the food was more than adequate , and well prepared.
Close to Cape Town and attractions It was a bit cold in the rooms- cold snap in the September ( spring) season. In a very nice suburb location but Hout bay has big problems with vagrants and security measures were oppressive.
