Hôtel Dolce Vita

Rooms were spacious and comfortable with an excellent sea view. The swimming pool was well situated with plenty of loungers and sunshades and towels available. Well maintained every morning.

Very limited restaurant menu and high priced too. €21 for breakfast far too steep so we didn’t have any. Supplies of bottled water, tea and coffee sachets were hard to come by - you shouldn’t need to ask for daily replenishments when the room charges are so high. Step access to hotel was a problem with a heavy suitcase and a wonky knee. What if you were really disabled? Handrail on steps to entrance difficult to use because bushes has not been cut back. Area of beach was potentially dangerous with submerged remains of a concrete jetty and sudden changes in water depth. To really appreciate this hotel and the area around which is a long way out of Ajaccio you need a car. If not you need to use the route 5 bus and you can buy a weekly ticket for€12 at the Tourist Information Office which is better than paying€3 for each journey. You can use it on any bus. Bus stop outside the hotel. Also electric bikes if you want them.
